My wedding day was absolutely perfect! Jamie did a beautiful job on my hair! My hair is down to my bottom so getting the curls to stay for more than an hour is extremely difficult. Jamie did that with absolute ease. I’ve never loved my hair style so much in my life. Thank you so much Jamie, I will recommend you to all my friends and family and I rate you a 10 out of 10!

Jamie Halcott was a pleasure to work with and helped make me feel beautiful the day of the wedding. About 2 months before the wedding I went to her for a hair trial where I walked her through my vision and she gave me options for how it could play out. At the trial she even did different types of curls on each side of my head, so that I could see how each held up and looked as the day went on. On the day of the wedding she arrived on time and worked very quickly - 30 minutes per person - with no impact on the final product. Each of the 5 bridesmaids, and my mother-in-law came with a vision/some pictures of what they wanted and she executed flawlessly. In addition, she was a pleasure to have in the room as we were getting ready - very calm and happy. I can’t recommend Jamie more highly for a wedding, or any other special event.

I cannot say enough AMAZING things about Jamie! I feel so fortunate to have found her. She was truly a dream to work with. A kind, sweet, knowledgeable and professional stylist-and she does amazing work! From our first conversation, she was thorough, detailed, and so very helpful. Booking with her was a breeze, and her approach was so much more simple than other vendors I contacted. I visited her for my trial about a month before my wedding and she put me at ease about the whole process. My bridesmaids (she had to do 8 of them before she got to me!) loved her and she did beautiful work on each and every one of them! My hair, I wish words could do it justice. I felt like a princess and I got so many compliments throughout the day. Jamie was a hair dream come true for myself and my maids, you will not regret booking with her!

Jamie was incredible to work with! I planned my wedding in 6 weeks and was lucky enough that Jamie had an opening for me! She is very talented with all types of hair texture and all styles and worked with my bridesmaids, mother, and myself to ensure we each were happy with our hair before she left. In addition, I was married on the hottest day of the year in July and my hair held up even with taking photos outside. I can't recommend her enough!

Jamie was fantastic to work with! My photographer recommended her to me, and once I met her I knew I wanted to work with her. She did a beautiful job, not only with my hair but with a pretty big group of my family's hair as well! Everybody's hair looked absolutely amazing and she was on time, professional, and a joy to work with.

I found Jamie as a recommendation from my SIL. I used her for my engagement photos and I think I just about instantly booked her on the spot for my wedding I was so happy with how she did my hair. As someone who is extremely picky about my hair, finding the perfect hairstylist was at the top of my list of priorities for our wedding. She is not only great at styling hair but I felt like she really listens and responds well to feedback, and was able to offer professional advice for any question I had. I could not have been happier with my decision to book Jamie - she is absolutely amazing at what she does!!! I had just Jamie there to style myself, 8 bridesmaids, my mom and MIL. I was super nervous about having only 1 stylist but Jamie reassured me that would be no problem for her. Not only was she ahead of the timeline on my wedding day (which make up was not and I had 2 make up artists) but everyone LOVED their hair and looked perfect. Everyone was super happy and raved about how amazing she is. If you are lucky enough that she is available on your wedding date, BOOK HER you will not regret it!!

I hired Jamie to style my, my bridesmaids', and my mother's hair for my wedding day and should could not have done a better job. She was INCREDIBLY easy to book, did not require a trial (which was great because I live out of state), was an absolute pleasure to spend time with while she styled us, and did an amazing job on our styles! All of my bridesmaids mentioned how lovely she was and how satisfied they were with their hair. I cannot recommend Jamie and her services enough!

Jamie was amazing to work with! I did the hair trial, and she was able to create exactly what I was describing. (and as a side bonus, her pup sat in my lap the entire trial, and that is worth 5 stars to me alone.) On the day of I ended up asking for a slight change in my hair, and she nailed it yet again. My hair looked even more beautiful than I could have ever expected, and I got so many compliments. She did such a phenomenal job on all the bridesmaids' hair. And to add to it all, both my mother and mother-in-law decided on the day of that they wanted their hair done, and Jamie took them on with no hesitation.

Jamie is amazing and I am so happy she did my hair for my Baltimore wedding! Jamie did my hair, hair for all 7 of my bridesmaids and my mom and we finished ahead of schedule! Jamie is such a sweet and kind person and she is so incredibly talented! She is quick to respond to emails and is as nice as can be! My mom came with me to my wedding hair trial and also had a trial done herself because my mom is usually particular about her hair. I showed Jamie some inspiration photos of what I had in mind and she delivered! When my mom got her hair done, I even heard her tell Jamie that this is the first time she actually has loved/been happy with her hair. On my wedding day, Jamie arrived right on time and is so efficient! We even finished early! All of my bridesmaids, my mom and I all LOVED our hair and it stayed beautiful all night even through some crazy wind while taking pictures and dancing all night. Jamie was wonderful to work with. She responded to my initial request immediately and was able to accommodate my large bridal party of 10 by herself. We had all types of hair, thick, curly, fine, thin, short, long, and she was also able to work with my friend's clip in hair extensions. Everyone was so pleased with their hair and she even left some supplies behind for touch-ups throughout the night. She was so fun to chat with and one of the girls was happy to see her again after working with her at a previous wedding. All of our hair stayed in place all night, even after some serious dancing!

Jamie is phenomenal to work with. She did my hair for a friend’s wedding and I felt so pleased with her work, I hired her for my wedding! At the hair trial, she looked through multiple photos of ideas I had saved on pinterest and then made my hair look even better than the photos. She is kind, calm, and a dream to work with. She traveled to my location the day of the wedding and was attentive to each person in my wedding party. I highly recommend choosing Jamie for a stress-free experience on your wedding day!

Jamie is the absolute best!! She is so easy to work with, and very down to earth. There were 9 of us total and we had a pretty early timeline we needed to stick too. Even with all of us having completely different styles picked out, Jamie made sure we were all happy and done on time! It was super windy the day of our wedding, and at the end of the night all of our hair still looked amazing!! I could not have been happier with Jamie's services! Jamie is AMAZING! I cannot speak highly enough of her. She is so down to earth and relaxed which is what every bride wants/needs on their big day. My bridesmaids were unsure of exactly what they wanted as they showed Jamie several photos of different ideas, but Jamie was able to get the looks they all wanted! Jamie did a fantastic job on my entire bridal party’s hair for my wedding day. Not only was she on time, she stuck to her timeline the entire morning, and even had time leftover at the end to do touch-ups for everyone. Jamie is the sweetest person and was so fun to work with. Jamie knew exactly what I wanted for my hair with just listening to me talk a little bit and show one picture. The morning of the wedding we even added the flower girl at the last moment and Jamie was so kind and didn’t even bat an eyelash when we asked if she minded adding another girl to the day. I would 100% recommend Jamie (already have to some of my engaged girlfriends).

Jamie was great to work with. She is easy going and accommodating. After my first trial with her I was unsure about the style we had chosen. We quickly set up a second trial and she made sure I was completely satisfied with what we had decided. I was going for a fusion South Asian/American look and she was able to make that happen by placing my Indian jewelry (tika) on my head and making sure my Dupatta/Veil was placed correctly. My mom was also pleased with her hair, which says a lot! ;) She is punctual and had everyone ready on time.

I highly recommend Jamie for a carefree, professional experience on you or your daughter's wedding day! She does a fantastic job of keeping things calm and as Mother-of-the Bride, that is not an easy task! I had more compliments on my hair than I could count and all of the bridesmaids were very pleased as well. My daughter's hair looked stunning and Jamie gave her extra, extra care.

Jamie was the ABSOLUTE BEST!! We had a Thursday night ceremony and a Friday night reception and Jamie did our (me, my mom and my two sisters) hair for both events and we were all thrilled with how we looked- which says a lot since pleasing everyone is a challenge, to put it nicely :). She made the whole experience wonderful because she is calming and understanding. I was very tense on Thursday, before the ceremony, and she just made me feel very relaxed which was. With that said, I thought the rate was incredibly reasonable, especially since I needed two nights of hair. She listened to exactly what each of us asked for and turned it into a reality and was very patient with our many requests. Also, by the end of the reception (after dancing pretty much all night) our hair all still looked pretty much perfect - which I was impressed by. It doesn't matter what type of event you're having or how large or small your wedding party is I would recommend Baltimore Bridal Hair over and over again- it was one of the best decisions I made throughout the wedding planning process!!

I was the Maid of Honor in a wedding over the weekend in Baltimore, and the bride hired Jamie to come to our hotel suite to style everyone's hair. Jamie was so professional, kind and talented. Everyone LOVED their hair, especially the bride, which has never been the case in any other wedding party I've been part of. All our hair held up great throughout the day. Our hair looked awesome in pictures, and I heard from several guests how nicely the girls' hair looked. Also, everyone who was getting ready in the bridal suite commented several times on how great of a job Jamie did and how nice she was to work with. Working with Jamie was one of the easiest decisions I made while planning my wedding. Jamie's work speaks for itself and she comes highly recommended! Jamie answered my emails promptly and was so easy to talk to, she made me feel like I had known her for years. When I did my hair trial months before the wedding Jamie tried a few different styles to help me decide what I wanted on my wedding day. I made some changes after my trial and my wedding hair was absolutely perfect! I have never enjoyed getting my hair done for events, my hair is thick and heavy and never ends up looking how I want, but Jamie helped my vision become reality. My hair stayed put all night long - and there was a lot of dancing! Jamie and one associate were able to help my party of 14 in just five hours. My bridesmaids and mothers looked stunning, each hairstyle was unique and made each girl feel so beautiful! I can't thank Jamie enough and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for the perfect wedding hair!

I had a wonderful experience working with Jamie! She was very responsive, flexible, and easy to work with. Her prices were the most reasonable that I came across, but you definitely get more than your money's worth! She is so friendly and was a great presence to have around on the wedding day. At my hair trial, I showed her a few pictures that I liked, and she was able to style a beautiful updo that was even better than what I had hoped for. I was so pleased with how my hair looked for our wedding, as were my 7 bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law. She worked very efficiently that day and we were finished with hair ahead of schedule. She waited around for at least another hour afterwards to do touch-ups for anyone who needed, and so that she could show my mother and sister how to attach my veil once we were in our dresses. Jamie is a wonderful hair stylist and I can't recommend her highly enough!

Jamie was AMAZING. I loved working with her! She gave me the perfect look for the day with very little guidance--I just showed her some pictures, said, "I kind of like these," and she made it happen. My mother was also thrilled with her hair! Jamie was prompt and thorough and easy to work with. I had initially booked Jamie with a partner makeup artist, and a few months before the wedding, I was informed that due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, the makeup artist would be unable to work my wedding. But Jamie had already lined up a replacement for me. She didn't leave me hanging, and I was blown away by her level of professionalism. I can't recommend Jamie enough.

Jamie was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding. It didn't take long to realize how skilled she is with hair and styling. She works quickly and efficiently and was able to do everyones hair within the timeline we had made (she actually had extra time!). I know that there are many choices for hair and makeup vendors for your wedding day however, choosing Baltimore bridal hair and makeup for mine was one of the reasons my wedding was absolutely flawless! I can honestly say I've NEVER been happy with the turn out of my hair or makeup for homecomings, proms, weddings (as a bridesmaid) in the past but I couldn't have been more happy with the results Jamie and Megan were able to offer and deliver to me (and my girls) on one of the most important days of my life. I cried after Jamie handed me a mirror for the first time to see my hair during our trial...I couldn't believe how perfect it was! I felt the same after my makeup was complete, I tried my best not to cry so my mascara wouldn't run!! Jamie and Megan are professional, efficient, outgoing and down to earth woman who want your day to be just as perfect as you do. I would (and have) recommend their services to anyone! Baltimore Bridal Hair and Make-up made me and my bridal party look beautiful on my wedding day. The hair and makeup lasted the entire day and night, and looked great in photos. Megan and Jamie came to my house and worked very quickly but carefully. Most of my bridesmaids had no idea what they wanted, but they worked with them and everyone came away very happy. The trial was a little far away from my DC area home, but well worth the investment to ensure I liked the look for the wedding. We event changed the hair and makeup slightly on the wedding day and I could not have been happier. I would recommend them for any MD/DC bride!

I would highly recommend both Megan for makeup and Jamie for hair. In my trial, they were very attentive to what I wanted, and made me feel stunning. They did not fall short on the day of, and made sure that my bridal party and I all looked our best. The hair and makeup lasted the whole night, and we all received many compliments! They came to our hotel room as we got ready, which made it really easy and relaxed.

Megan and Jamie were both absolutely amazing! I could not have been happier with the way my wedding look turned out. They were both flexible and were willing to take my suggestions, even when I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted. All of our bridesmaids had their hair done for the wedding and each girls hair look awesome! No cheesy prom do's here! When I have my makeup done I always worry about looking overdone - they did such a great job just making me look like a better version of myself! I cannot thank them enough! I used Jamie and Megan of Baltimore Bridal Hair and Makeup and they both were amazing. On the trial with Jamie, she immediately put me at ease and looked at my pinterest photos for about 10 seconds, got started and 45 minutes later - BAM - my hair looked exactly like the pictures. Her calming attitude and great smile puts her over the top and she did all of my girls as well as my mom and my sisters in law. We all looked great and she was fast with everyone. Megan was great as well and made me look like a superstar. They are a great pair!

Jamie from Baltimore Bridal Hair did a fantastic job with my whole bridal party's hair. She did 6 updo's in only a few hours, came right to the hotel where we were getting ready, and everyone looked amazing. She made sure to capture exactly what they wanted to look like and we had a great time hanging out with her while we were all getting done up.

We had used Megan and Jamie previously - so that was a no-brainer. Unfortunately I waited a little to long to contact them and Jamie was not available :-(. Megan was going on maternity leave during the date of our wedding - so their associate Rachael provided her services. Let me tell you, she was amazing from the moment I did my trial the BIG DAY!! Megan was always very responsive and followed up the week of the wedding to ensure everything was good to go. Rachael arrived and the magic began - thank you so much Rachael - I know some of those bridesmaids were "tough" :-). The TEAM at Baltimore Bridal Hair & Make-up are outstanding!!!

Megan and a second makeup artist got me, my three bridesmaids, and both moms looking absolutely gorgeous for my wedding. I communicated with Megan via email in the weeks leading up to it, and also did a makeup trial about 8 weeks earlier. I found her on WeddingWire and in doing my research, found that a work friend also used her services (she was featured on the online gallery) and loved her work. I agree with my friend. I really liked the end result and everyone else did as well. My sister requested that they add a little cover-up to a scar on her back and you couldn't tell anything was there. The makeup stayed great throughout the night - I've never seen my friends or family look so amazing. Friendly and focused, they were both so sweet and totally ready to go as soon as my crew showed up to the venue. I wish they were around every day to do my makeup!

I hired Jamie & Megan to do my hair and make up on the day of my wedding and I was incredibly happy with the results. They're both magicians! I loved the way everything came together and I felt really beautiful on the day of my wedding. Working with them was incredibly easy. They came to the hotel suite I had rented and were able to get everyone looking great right there in the room. They were also very flexible, allowing some bridesmaids to get just hair, some to get just make up and some to have both services. They are both very sweet, super nice and just all around very easy to work with. I would recommend working with Jamie and Megan to anyone looking for beautiful work at a reasonable price. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat!

I absolutely loved working with Baltimore Bridal for make up on my wedding day. From the beginning Megan made the process easy and exciting. Wedding day, her and Laura were fun to work with and made everyone look absolutely stunning. They catered to every style and look that my bridesmaids desired. I can't rave about them enough!

You definitely want to hire Megan Rakers to do your makeup for your big day or any other special occasion. I don't normally wear makeup. Most makeup makes my skin itchy. I told this to Megan way ahead of time. I was very nervous about getting my makeup done for my trial run ahead of the wedding but she made it really fun. Music was playing so I could relax. She was totally into asking my opinion about colors and how I wanted to look. She even offered to purchase high quality lip stick and lip gloss for touch ups on the big day. She uses only high quality makeup that you probably wouldn't purchase yourself. Her rate is really fair. On your big day, she will come to where you are (your home, hotel, etc) and make you feel like a princess. My grandmother doesn't normally like anyone to touch her face but she let Megan do her makeup on the day of the wedding. That's how gentle she is. My aunt has MS and fell a couple days before the wedding. Megan did a great job minimizing the look of her injuries. You definitely need to hire Megan. She did a super job overall. If I ever have makeup needs in the future, she would definitely be the one that I would contact immediately.

Jamie and Megan had their hands full with me and my bridesmaids, but they did an amazing job! Of course the week before my wedding I wanted to change my whole style after having a trial with them and they both were not only so understanding, but so sweet about it! They did such a wonderful job on all of us that I plan to always use them both in the future whenever I want to get all spruced up for an event!! I am so happy with how everything turned out! Everyone was so beautiful!!

I used Megan as our make-up artist for my wedding. She came to the hotel on time and did a wonderful job on everyone. She was very easy to work with and tried to make everyone feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend her.

Jamie and Megan are wonderful! I got married the day Hurricane Irene hit Baltimore, and my venue told us with just 24 hours notice that we'd have to be out of the venue by 8 p.m. the day the wedding (we were scheduled from 5-midnight). I had to call all of my vendors, including Baltimore Bridal Hair & Make-up to move everything up, and Jamie and Megan were so flexible and accommodating. They are fun, beautiful women who made me feel fun and beautiful on an otherwise dreary, hurricane wedding day!

I couldn't be happier with Baltimore Bridal! Megan and Jamie were both unbelievable. From day one when I contacted them for a quote and for their availability they were super responsive. All I had to do was give them an idea of how I wanted my hair and makeup done and they took the ideas and ran! The day of the wedding, they were extremely flexible. I had one more person to add on, not only the day of, but when they arrived! and they were not only able to squeeze her in but got us all finished ahead of schedule. Also, I had some very picky girls who needed their hair/makeup done and Megan and Jamie managed not only to make them each look beautiful but actually made each of them happy! As for me, my hair/makeup came out beautifully and while I looked like I had obviously had my hair/makeup done, they still managed to make me look like myself and feel comfortable. Just before they left they even gave me a little touch-up goodie bag with everything in it I'd need to make sure I stayed photo ready for the entire day. I cannot recommend Baltimore Bridal highly enough!

Jamie was AMAZING with our hair! She came to us the morning of my wedding, she was on time and fully prepared. She did my hair (bride), my bridesmaids and my mom. She was able to replicate any photo perfectly and she was able to put together concepts you gave her and mold them into a beautiful creation. She was so nice and upbeat and helped all of us relax on what could be a very stressful morning. Our hair didn't move the entire day and looked just as she had completed it at the end of the night.

My hair not only looked amazing the day of my wedding, but it stayed in place even through all of the dancing. I admit, this was a more pricey piece of my wedding than I had originally thought. It was totally worth the cost though. The hair stylist came to me and she was friendly, helpful, and wanted me to be 100% satisfied. At the hair trial she helped me decide on what I wanted and she gave me a few options. She did an amazing job and I would definitely use her again-as long as she fits into my budget.

Jamie and Megan were professional, talented, and really fun to have around. I would highly recommend them to anyone getting married! My hair and make up were perfect, and my bridesmaids, our mothers, and the flower girl all looked gorgeous too. THANK YOU!
