I'm Meagan, owner and operator of Bareface Beaute. I have been a hair and makeup artist for 7yrs! Bareface Beaute is a team of artists that travel state and US wide for all wedding needs so we can accommodate to Elopements, small weddings and bigger event weddings. No size is too big or small!

Meagan is AMAZING! She did my hair and makeup for my wedding on 10/24. She really listens to what you want and made me feel and look SO beautiful. Not only is she talented but she’s amazing, kind, fun, and very calming. I am so happy I was able to have her for my special day! Highly recommend 10/10!

I used Bareface Beaute, specifically Vanessa, as my make up artist for my wedding day in Sept 2024. I booked their services very last minute (2 weeks before my wedding), and they were able to accommodate me. I found them as they came highly recommended from our venue coordinator at the Lodge at Two Moons. I could not have been more satisfied with the services. I was able to do my makeup trial with Vanessa the day before the wedding, so I was glammed for my rehearsal dinner. My wedding day makeup lasted through the long hours and tears, and eating and drinking! I don't think I even re-applied my lipstick! Vanessa was super cool and helped me find the perfect makeup that suited me well and looked amazing in my pictures. Meagan, who helped coordinate Vanessa's services, was extremely kind and accommodating, and worked really hard to set me up with a MUA. If I ever need my glam done again in Oakhurst, I would use these ladies again!

Meagan was an absolute dream to work with on my wedding day! From our first trial, I knew I could trust her completely with my hair and makeup. As my vision for my hair and makeup changed closer to the big day, I asked her if we could do another trial, and she was so patient and sweet throughout the process. On the day itself, her calming presence made such a difference amidst all the chaos. She also did the hair and makeup for many of my bridesmaids, and they all looked so beautiful and were so happy with their looks by Meagan. I felt so beautiful and cared for, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Meagan, for making me feel so special!

Not sure what happened.. I loved my bridal trial, I felt so beautiful and she was so nice. Afterwards, I asked to for a blow out curls look than Hollywood curls. She said she was happy to do that on my wedding day. All communication leading up to the event, she was kind and responsive. Fast forward to my welcome party, she was running very late but she got me ready on time so no big deal but it seemed like she had an attitude with me. I thought she just had a bad day… The next day was the wedding, and her demeanor from the start was kinda like she was irritated. It was early, whatever, we were all tired. She started everyone’s hair and then the makeup artist arrived to help. When she got to my hair/makeup I asked to lighten the eyeshadow to more a peachy pink and I would like a softer pink lipgloss to complement it. Already, she was visibly annoyed. When she finished, the concealer under my eyes looked 3 shades lighter than my skin tone. It was not what I wanted so I asked to change it to match my skin tone. With major attitude she did. Then she moved onto my hair, while I was talking and eating she finished. My hair was full Hollywood curls!! I was SO upset and shocked. I didn’t know how to fix it before photos, I was freaking out in the bathroom. I got it together and I came back to ask her to straighten them out and reiterated that we had discussed Hollywood curls were a no.. to my surprise she was mad at ME. Not even owning up to the fact that these were not what I asked for multiple times. Then she proceeded to be rough with my hair. Talked crap about me while friend was waiting in the room. She never apologized, never acknowledged her mistake, but gave me attitude and me feel uncomfortable. Lastly, my tracks to my extensions were showing at my wedding!!! Which alone- should have you steer clear. Long long story short. It’s your special day and mistakes like these are WAY too huge to waste your money on. All my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother in law were so upset with the way she treated me and none of them really thought she did a good job. I was so excited based off her IG portfolio.. I wouldn’t recommend.

Meagan is so incredibly skilled! In just 6 hours, she did hair AND makeup for the bride, mother of the bride, mother of the groom, and four bridesmaids. She even went back for touchups! She was very flexible working around last minute changes, she was absolutely amazing at improvisation, and she was so sweet and calming during the craziest morning of our lives. Communication was difficult at first, it took a couple of weeks just to get booked, but it was definitely worth the effort.

Meagan was absolutely amazing on my wedding! Her talent and attention to detail was outstanding and she made you feel so comfortable to be with her. You truly become friends during the engagement process and she made it so easy. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup and I felt beautiful and confident. If you are looking for a hair and makeup artist you have to go with Meagan! I wish I could give her 10 stars! She is so talented and you can tell she has a true passion for what she does.

Meagan was the makeup artist for my wedding in May of 2024. She did my makeup (the bride), 6 bridesmaids, and my mom and mother in law. Not only was she on time, and incredibly professional, she did GORGEOUS work. She is also just a sweet person, and was lovely to be around for both my trial and wedding day. I've seen a lot of not-so-great wedding makeup, and was very concerned about an artist who was too heavy handed or not looking like myself. Meagan was patient in addressing these fears, and listened to exactly what I asked for, even when I did last minute changes day of. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. All of my girls looked beautiful, and so did my mom and mother in law. This is a testament to Meagan's skills in that she can work with all ages, skin types, and skin tones. I would highly recommend her!

Meagan and her team were absolutely AMAZING. My bridesmaids were blown away by their hair and makeup for the day of. They listened to every girl's preference and made sure they all felt beautiful before getting out of the chair. Meagan was so easy to work with and really listened to me as well with what I wanted. My wife and I are so glad we chose Meagan for our hair and makeup. We immediately felt at ease with her wonderful personality and friendly demeanor. Make sure you do a trial! During my trial, we realized my eyes didn't like something, and I ended up removing all my makeup right away. Meagan checked in with me shortly after, and worked with me to figure out what the cause may be. My eyes didn't water at all on our elopement day! Our hair and makeup looked great all day. I can't recommend Meagan enough. She was such a trooper showing up before 5 am to get us done in time for the elopement!

I hired Meagan for my wedding on 2/11/2023 to do my hair and makeup and my bridal party along with my two sisters and mom’s makeup and hair, after attending the hair and makeup trial I was disappointed with my hair and makeup, I had recently been a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding and my hair and makeup was better then than as a bride, however I still decided to Meagan a second chance and allowed her to do my mom and two sister’s makeup for my big day, at first she did not want to honor my deposit and apply it to the remaining balance but thankfully I had all our conversations in writing and provided proof and she gladly adjusted the invoice which was good but my biggest complaint and why I wouldn’t hire her again is in the day off she was rough on my sisters and mother’s hair and one of my sister’s hair was left far beyond acceptable to which she asked Meagan if she could fix Meagan told her she would have to charge her again for hair mind you I was already paying 200 for each even though my sisters were only juniors and prices on her website/ Instagram quote 17 and under at 125, she also refused to do touch ups, her assistant on the other hand who was doing makeup was much kinder she fixed my sister’s hair because my sister was so stressed out and it broke my heart to hear my family was mistreated, I’m very disappointed, I feel like her pricing is not transparent she even charged a travel fee even though on her website she specifies no travel fee within 25 miles which we are well within, please save yourself the stress I can’t go back in time and change things but I’m hoping my review will at-least help someone save themselves the stress.

I am also sorry to hear that you were not happy with the trial run and surprised that you gave me a "second chance" without even communicating that you weren't happy with the first. When you left that day, nothing was said so I was under the impression that everything was fine, and our emails expressed none of those concerns about the trial run.
Second, the emails that we exchanged in Dec due to the service changes were respectively changed. Due to those changes I mentioned we have a 5-service minimum, which is exactly what we did. Following the prices of what our contract stated it was $200 hair and makeup, we did not add "Junior Bridesmaids" to our price sheet until January 2023 when ALL prices increased and polices changed, this was after our agreement which was in December. So only new bookings received the updated price list with the increased prices. If I would have known this was a concern, I could have explained it to avoid this situation.
Third, I tried my best to communicate with your mom and sisters the best way I could. My assistant did help with that communication since it was Spanish speaking when I found out that your sister didn't like the first style we had done, we fixed it no extra charge (Due to our contract, NEW contracts however yes, it is an additional charge) but again we did not charge you. Once her hair was redone, we were under the impression that she liked it, since nothing was said.
As for the travel fee, private services have travel included up to 25 miles. Weddings, however, are different since most times there is more than one artist, and ALL artists have to be accounted for. The travel fee was listed in our contracted agreement.
Again, I am truly sorry that we could not provide the experience you were expecting, and I hope this clears up any confusion that may have occurred.

Megan was by far one of my favorite vendors from our wedding day! Megan and her team simply did a phenomenal job making my bridesmaids, mother, and myself look beautiful on the wedding day. Megan was very easy to talk to. I felt relaxed and at ease during our Trial and on the morning of the wedding, which is exactly what you should feel as a Bride!! She even took pictures, videos, and made a Reel of my girls and I, and sent them to me the next week. I didn't expect it, and I cried when I saw those precious moments she captured. I can honestly say it was the most beautiful makeup I've ever had done, and her airbrushing technique made the skin and texture of all of our faces look so smooth and flawless. My husband was blown away when he saw me on the wedding day!! I truly felt beautiful and radiant on my wedding day, thanks to Megan!

She was great! She was very nice and listened well to what I wanted. My hair and makeup were done so well! I was so happy how I looked, I didn't want to take it off. I received so many compliments. She also did my maid of honor and my mother's makeup. She even checked with me first on how they should look which was very nice. We all looked amazing! She was very patient, polite, and professional. I would highly recommend her!!
