A HISTORIC VENUE IN BOSTON, MA
The Maison Room. Separated from the main dining room by large, antique French doors, the Maison Room makes use of numerous windows to fill the space with natural light during the day. The room is also adorned with a brick fireplace, which can serve as an unusual backdrop for the exchanging of vows.
The Chalet Lounge. The Chalet Lounger is situated on the lower level of the venue and, as its name suggests, imparts the warm and intimate impression of a French Alpine lodge. Decorated with faux-antler chandeliers, tartan upholstery, hardwood floors and ceilings, and wood-paneled walls, this space also benefits from a full service bar.

We rented out the Maison room at Bastille Kitchen for our intimate spring wedding. We cannot say one negative thing about the entire experience. We contacted the event planner Jacci early January to begin planning our special day and immediately fell in love with the charm and character of the Masion room. As stressful as planning a wedding can be, coordinating the event with Jacci seemed effortless – from the very beginning to the night of, Jacci was so very helpful and pleasant to work with. We hosted both the ceremony and the dinner in the Masion room. The space was so romantic and intimate – the perfect combination for our dream wedding. I felt like a princess as I entered the room through the large French doors making my way down the aisle to be married. We were married in front of the fire place surrounded by brick walls, stunning flower arrangements and natural lighting – it was gorgeous! The wait staff was wonderful the whole night – cocktail hour through dinner. So very charming and accommodating, yet at the same time, almost invisible – a tough combination to pull off! And the food, we did not have one complaint – from hors d’oeuvre to entrée. We were back and forth on a few entrée selections, but I honestly don’t think we could have gone wrong with any of the selections for the night. Also, the pastry chef baked a cake for us, that even my aunt without a sweet tooth couldn’t resist! I’d also like to mention how effortlessly the staff seemed to transform the room from a ceremony setting to a dinner setting. We did not have to worry or be bothered with one detail and therefore could thoroughly enjoy celebrating with our close family and friends. It was a night we will never forgot – thank you Bastille Kitchen! We would highly recommend Bastille Kitchen as a wedding venue!
I had the most extraordinary big 50 birthday i throw myself at the bastille kitchen last month, as an event planner/floral designer, I have seen and worked with other venues but none of them as best service as they provide, Jacci the director of event planner, James as the assistant manager of the night, they both very easy to work with and fond to help me to smooth down the whole cocktails party and intimate dinner for 10!! the food were absolutely delicious and classy, if you plan on having unique intimate weddings, rustic old world in urban city style parties, this is a must consider at all time.
My husband and I held our 100-person wedding ceremony and reception in Bastille's Chalet. The size of the room was perfect for our group, which allowed for plenty of space for people to mingle throughout while having an intimate feel. The food was delicious and the servers worked through the crowds efficiently to ensure the appetizers made it to everyone. The bartenders were also efficient and friendly, and their concoctions were very well received by our guests. The design of the room was fantastic - we did very little decorating because the space has enough character on its own. However, the best part of our experience was working with Jacci at Bastille. She met with us several times to discuss our desires and went out of her way to accommodate how we wanted to have our big day happen. From the initial meeting to the tasting and the signature cocktail development process, Jacci and her team make us feel so welcome. The end result was a perfect wedding for our guests and us!
We hosted our joint bridal shower in the Chalet room at Bastille and cannot say enough GREAT things about our experience. Jacci was a dream to work with: very responsive, helpful, and always accommodating if we wanted to stop in to test sound/ presentations, etc. Our guests have been raving about how beautiful the space is, as well as how much they enjoyed the food and drink. (We did oysters, cheeses, sliders, flatbreads and desserts.) The staff who worked our event were wonderful; we felt very well taken care of from start to finish. Though I'm trying not to be biased, it was definitely one of the best private events I've ever experienced. To say we highly recommend is an understatement!
