The Inside Scoop
FROM THE KNOT EDITORS
The First Look
Rustic charm and elegance come together at Beano’s Cabin. Tucked away from the world on Beaver Creek Mountain, in the White River National Forest, the cabin offers picturesque scenery, from the mountain backdrops to the starry skies. The outside of the cabin includes an open lawn and a wraparound deck at the foot of Grouse Mountain, while the interior has a stone hearth, antler chandeliers and vaulted ceilings.
Beano’s Cabin accommodates wedding parties of 20 to 150 people and offers full catering options, including salads, appetizers, main courses and desserts.
What You Should Know
Beano’s Cabin offers private buyouts and group dinner reservations from December to April and June to October. While the venue typically only provides services for groups of 20 or more, it does make exceptions. If you’re inviting fewer than 20 people to your ceremony and reception, contact the venue to see if you can be accommodated.
Beano's Cabin is located inside of Beaver Creek Resort, so you can stay on site when you hold your wedding or reception at this venue. You can choose between condos, homes and hotels. If you plan to hit the slopes, consider ski-in, ski-out accommodations on the property so you can go straight to the mountain from your guestroom.
To get to the cabin during the winter, you must take a 20-minute open-air sleigh ride. If you come during the summer, you can arrive at the cabin in true western style on either horseback or via a wagon. It's not possible to drive directly to the cabin.
The ride to the cabin counts toward your booking time. If you reserve the space for 7 p.m., that is the time your sleigh, horse or wagon will leave for the property, so book the property 20 minutes earlier than you need to arrive.
If you hold your wedding and reception at Beano’s Cabin, you have access to ample activities. Your group can go skiing and snowboarding, or golfing in the summer. You can also sign up for ski lessons and take a shuttle to the ski lifts.
The venue also offers:
- Creations from executive chef Bill Greenwood
- Dishes with ingredients straight from the on-site garden
- Local meats, produce and cheese
- Wine lists based on the season
- A special children’s menu
The venue has received various awards, including the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence and the Distinguished Restaurants of North America.
