something within my vision, number of people, and budget since I didn't have anything too specific in mind. I found her expertise to be incredibly helpful. I had the most fun designing our favors which were small apple pies for our fall wedding. Julie helped me design something that worked perfectly and I ordered small tags online that they attached to the boxes. Unfortunately, I found communicating with Beascakes to be occasionally stressful. When I spoke with Julie, I was confident that everything would run smoothly but if I needed to call or drop by to check on something, and Julie wasn't there, I left feeling uneasy and unsure that whatever I needed to communicate would not make its way through. Fortunately, it all worked out in the end and I couldn't have been happier with the final product.

nd she had prepared 4 mini cakes of various flavors and styles to help guide us (all delicious, you couldn't make a wrong decision). Julie talked over my ides for a cake and sketched out her plan as we spoke classic on one side, lego themed on the other, strawberry short cake with a fondant outside. It was spectacular, I wish I could attach photos to the review. Every step of the way Julie was organized and easy to work with and everything in her shop is tasty and perfect. Highly recommended.

frosting. We opted for a simple 3-layer cake buttercream frosting with a sheet on the side for our guests. The flavor was mango and strawberry shortcake combo (YES we got 2 flavors). My husband and I loved the cake - it was not too sweet, very light but also very delicious. Our guests loved it too because plates were clean! Their price was not outrageously high which is a very good thing! We've visited a couple of bakeries in the area and boy oh boy, did not know cakes can be expensive. The cake we got was perfect for us and we loved it! We don't live near the area so when we communicated with vendors, our first choice would be email. The email on their website is useless. I suggest you contact them directly by phone or go to their store physically to take care of the details. I also called a couple of times and left a message but did not receive a return call. Must be the busy wedding season. However, when I finally got hold of Julie, the discussion went smoothly, details were taken care of and most importantly on the day itself, the delicious cake was there in perfect form.
