Jennie helped us to find just about all of our awesome vendors, and we were told on multiple occasions that we had the "A Team". My husband and I could not agree more :)

Gabby were taking care of everything! Jennie was great to have by my side because she was laid back enough to make me feel comfortable, but I knew there wasn't a problem she couldn't handle if necessary. I recall waiting to walk down the aisle behind my wedding party and feeling nervous and overwhelmed at all of the people running around getting ready, being seated, etc. Then I noticed Jennie next to me and she started talking with me about how to hold my bouquet when I walked down the aisle. It immediately made me relax to know that she was right there with me in case anything came up. Jennie and Gabby were also wonderful about taking care of every unpredictable issue that came up - for example, I needed to go into my hotel room before the reception started and my key didn't work, so Jennie went down to the front desk to get me a new key. She also sewed my dress bustle for me when we couldn't get it to work properly! I'm sure there were other issues that they took care of that I won't ever know about as well. If you are trying to decide whether you need a day-of coordinator, I can hands-down say that you absolutely do! It truly will make all the difference on your wedding day.

g our wedding, but we've never planned a wedding before! So mostly, we treated Jennie as our wedding adviser. She was an excellent source of information and insight throughout the planning process. She helped to make a lot of the tiny decisions seem easier and less overwhelming. Also, she really helped to keep us on track with the wedding planning which I found extremely helpful. The timeline she provided after our first phone meeting was the guiding star for our whole wedding planning process! And on our wedding, she and her assistant, Heather, were absolutely invaluable. I had been toting my Wedding Planning Binder around all week but when Jennie arrived to the Bridal Suite, I felt like I could just relax and turn everything over to her and Heather. Even though my family (especially my dad) had worked pretty closely with all of our vendors, we didn't really want to do that on the wedding day. So it was great to have Jennie swoop in and make sure everything ran smoothly and that all the vendors were set up and had everything they needed. That way, our family could just relax and enjoy the day! Throughout the night, she took care of everything from our card box to slyly putting bobby pins into my up-do while I was still on the dance floor! Beyond that, Jennie and Heather were extremely friendly, kind, and professional. They were a joy to have around on our big day and a real pleasure to work with in the months leading up to it. es feel that stress of planning the entire wedding, I was one of those, but I also carried the extra stress of wanting to make sure that my groom/husband loved everything the day of too! Jennie and her team took all the extra worries and stress away from me, so on the day of I could enjoy every minute and experience that I was about to embark on. Their attention to detail is immaculate, organizational skills top notch, but most importantly they care about you!! When I booked Jennie, I had most of my vendors already set up however after that first conversation I felt like she was with me the whole time. She really took the time to listen to my thoughts/needs/wants and even reminded me of some items I forgot about! For anyone who may be second guessing the decision to book - don't! It is so worth it and you will look back and be so happy you booked with Beautiful Day Planning. I was so happy that I did not have to worry about one thing the morning of and had a great time with my family and bridesmaids while I was getting ready. ecorating. I've never been married neither has my husband and as much as we wanted to rely and trust our families to help us on our wedding day, we wanted a professional. I found Beautiful Day Planning online and through their reviews throughout the Detroit area wedding online community thought they were a good choice. I couldn't have made a better decision! Jennie contacted me almost immediately. She was even willing to call me from home once she clocked out for the day. We discussed my needs and my budget and she set me up with Shelby, one of their planners. Through several phone calls and emails the time came to travel to Michigan for our wedding week. My now husband and I met with Shelby at their office. She presented us wit a lovely gift and a very sweet note. After giving her all of my phone numbers, decorations, going over questions both of us had everything was set. Every time I had a question (a million times) I'd text her. She got back to me immediately every time and made everything work. On the day of my wedding she was there every step of the way. After leaving instruction and decorations at the hall I left everything in her hands. My wedding was gorgeous, my decorations were perfect. They provided me with a gorgeous backdrop with amber lighting and hanging crystals. It was absolutely breathtaking. I truely believe without Shelby and Beautiful Day, it would've been disastrous. I highly recommend them and will continue to sing their praises to anyone that is ever in need of those kinds of services.

easy to communicate with. It was a great relief to have Nicole at our wedding rehearsal as well. She took charge of the whole rehearsal, giving everyone their tasks & making sure everyone felt prepared. The day of our wedding Nicole made sure everything went just as planned and it was perfect! Our entire evening went so smooth and we couldn't of been happier. I would highly recommend Beautiful Day Planning to any soon-to-be bride and of course Nicole as your wedding coordinator!

f to say, "Ask the coordinator", "Give it to the Coordinator". Hiring a decorator or cleaning crew won't give you that. They are also the "runner", if someone has something you need or you need to give someone something, or ask someone something, they do the running for you, which you don't have time for, or simply can't do yourself because the bride and groom need to be separate before the ceremony. For example, Nicole ran my written vows over to the maid of honor, who was in a different hotel room than I was in when we were getting ready, that she was supposed to hold on to during the ceremony. She ran my ring to the Best Man, which was still on my finger minutes before the ceremony. Beautiful Day Planners set up and clean up everything, which you won't have time for, and not every wedding planner does the clean up. There's no way the wedding party or us could have set up the place, too busy with salon, lunch, getting ready, and pictures. By the time the reception was over, Nicole had everything packed up nicely in my parents SUV, and all I had to do was look around to see everything was already done, say my last goodbyes, and get on the shuttle to the hotel with my groom. Such a relief. I give it a 4 instead of 5 because I ended up having to do the timeline myself, which was a big job to do, and I had to pull an all-nighter doing it 2 days before the wedding because I was so busy with other wedding stuff I had to do. Nicole was going to do it for me but the problem was that the DJ and Photographers wanted the timeline like a week in advance, and also, the whole wedding party kept asking me what's going on and I was losing my voice telling the same thing to 20 people. It's not very helpful that they include "timeline" into the cost of "Day-Of-Coordination" if they don't give it to you until the day-of. YOU WILL NEED IT SOONER. Also, they were slow at times getting back to me and didn't do some of the things we talked about in time, but nothing of dire importance. I only paid $950 because my wedding was so late in the evening. Ceremony at 7pm, so I had them start at 4:30pm and go til 1:30am (though Nicole had it all done when the party ended at 1am). Usually a wedding is a whole day affair. Plus I got a $25 or $50 (can't remember) discount for being referred by another bride, my bff. Their prices were better than a couple other wedding planners I met with that were charging $1200-$3000, plus I had the recommendation of my friend who was happy with them.

She was a wealth of information when I didn't know anything about vendors in the area, made recommendations without pushing any personal agendas, and made amazing suggestions I would never have thought of. And I cannot stress enough how invaluable she was the day of the wedding. I literally didn't have to think of anything except enjoying my day. Trust me - you can NOT go wrong going with BDP and Jennie and her team. You will be able to relax and enjoy your day SO much more. I am a very organized person and never thought I would have needed a wedding planner...looking back, I now can't believe I ever thought of NOT having one and am SO glad that I found BDP and had such an incredible and fun experience with them!

ments at the end of the night. Things will go wrong on the wedding day and Nicole makes sure to fix them without you even knowing! My priest was about to be late and Nicole called him and got him there on time. My bustle broke at the reception and she whipped out a sewing kit and was behind me sewing me back in while I was talking with guests! At the end of the night she loaded my car so I could dance until the very last song. She was impeccably organized and I personally believe no wedding should happen without a coordinator. When you really think about it, why wouldn't you protect a $25,000 (my personal cost) wedding for only a small investment!

& I are very into the food scene & we wanted dinner at our wedding to reflect this. Jennie stepped in & suggested a new catering company that turned out to be incredible & has a remarkable reputation. At first glance the bill was high but Jennie worked with the catering company to approve us brining in a different staff which reduced the staffing quote by 75%! Leading up to the wedding Jennie kept us updated by scheduling calls & sending emails to make sure Daniel & I stayed on track & on budget. She would request quotes for good, better, & best so I could choose from three instead of endless options which is overwhelming. Jennie & Shelby came & assisted for the rehearsal after they spent hours setting up the reception for the wedding day. I had no time to help with the details but when I had a chance to look at everything it was fantastic to see all the work they did. Even down to an elegant napkin fold, these ladies did it all & you could feel they truly cared & wanted it to look perfect. On the day of the wedding Jennie was there with Shelby bright and early adding all the finishing touches, directing vendors (I had no one call me, they all reached out to Jennie), handing out tips for vendors, decorating the inside of my house with string lights, (we found out later Jennie is scared of heights & still jumped up the tall ladder), persuaded the band into moving outside even though it had already taken them hours to setup inside, decorated our bedroom with flowers for our first night as a married couple, and carrying around this magical purse full of everything you could possibly need at the last second. Jennie & Shelby made my wedding day the way I have always pictured & I cannot thank them enough for all their hard work.
