Working with Katie and her team for our wedding weekend was an absolute dream! We had 15 ladies receiving hair and makeup services. Katie and her team had us all out the door on time with touch ups! We all felt so beautiful, confident, and all of the applications stayed the entire day/night! We additionally added a hour of touch ups at our ceremony location; which I highly recommend! Katie also glammed me for my rehearsal dinner. I can’t say enough great things about Beauty by K2 and I absolutely recommend them for your hair/makeup needs! Thanks Katie and team!

I was referred to Katie Barr by a friend who had used her services for her wedding in the past. I reached out to Katie and received a response right away. Katie provided great advice to get my bridesmaids and I prepped for wedding day. I did what Katie had recommended for her brides prior to wedding day, which was; makeup trials, spray tan trials, facials, derma-planing, brow lamination and tint, hair trials, all the things to make sure I looked and felt my best on the big day. Katie truly made me feel so comfortable throughout the process, she treated me like a friend and I really appreciated that. She took the time to listen and really try to understand my vision for the wedding day, and she nailed it. I would highly recommend Beauty by K2, and Katie Barr for all of your bridal / event needs.

I booked Katie for my bridal hair and makeup and she did such a wonderful job. I love how she tailors her work to each clients’ unique style and desires. She was willing to listen to all of my inputs. I even asked to slightly change the style of my hair on wedding day and she was more than willing to go with the flow. The studio is a beautiful, welcoming space and I will definitely be returning for other services in the future.

Katie offers an option to add on additional time, so I had her stay for an extra 2 hours before I walked down the aisle. Not enough stars for Katie - she is the best and I couldn't recommend her more! I started seeing Katie months before my wedding for skincare. I previously struggled with eczema on my face, and as a result, essentially put nothing on my skin other than a basic face wash and moisturizer because I was worried how it would react. I decided to start seeing Katie for dermaplane and facials. I also started using products she offers in my at-home skincare routine. The combination of these, and what Katie recommends when I see her, have truly transformed my skin. Katie also did my rehearsal dinner makeup, wedding hair and makeup, and spray tan and they were all a dream come true! She is so kind and genuine and an absolute joy to work with. She has a beautiful studio and will always make you feel comfortable and bring whatever vision you have to life. She goes above and beyond in every way - go see her / book her as soon as you can!

ABSOLUTELY amazing. Katie was so very easy to work with from the very beginning. From the trial to the actual wedding day, she was such a pleasure to work with. I also had my eyebrows tinted and laminated before the big day and had SOOO many compliments. She listened to all of my concerns and made sure I was vocal if I didn’t love something! I was so so comfortable working with her and plan on continuing to receive services from her in the future!

The best thing we ever did was hire Katie to do our hair and makeup for our destination wedding in Florida!! She did an absolutely spectacular job and made the morning of the wedding so much fun and calm. Her presence provided the perfect start to the day. Katie is AMAZING!! She was top notch in terms of communication and truly making you feel super special during the planning process and during the wedding weekend. She does everything a bride would hope for in one (skincare, tanning, hair & makeup) which really helps having the same vendor for everything related to skin & hair. She puts together a short deck on what to expect and how to prepare for each session which made it easy for me to understand expectations and was something I could just forward to my bridesmaids so they’d also be prepared. She is very responsive and flexible and was magically able to make a last minute hair and makeup request work for my rehearsal dinner. I was OBSESSED with both looks that I had for my rehearsal dinner and for my wedding day!! She not only made me look unbelievable but she also was feeding me compliments to truly give me all the confidence. 10/10 would recommend her for all the services she offers. She truly was my favorite vendor to work with.

Katie was wonderful to work with! She is extremely organized and professional in every aspect from her contract, day of planning, and makeup kit. I was so happy with my makeup for my big day! She is also very efficient and actually ran ahead of schedule, which is so critical for a busy wedding day. My mom had never had her makeup done and she was quite nervous about this part of the weekend. I scheduled a trial for my mom and I both and this put my mom's nerves at ease- she looked beautiful! Katie is so skilled, really listens to what you are wanting, and beautifully accommodates all ages and skin types. I knew a few other brides who had also used Katie for their weddings and highly recommended her, she's the best!

Working with Katie was one of the highlights of our wedding. I went to Katie at Nashville Skin Studio for all my facials and skin prep in the lead up to the wedding week, and have never felt better about my skin even amidst all the stress! Katie handled making a schedule for the day of, so my bridesmaids and I never even had to worry about it. We had a variety of hair types, lengths, and everyone had their own personal styles - and Katie and her team made everyone look and feel like the best version of themselves. Everything they used was high quality and executed flawlessly - our hair and makeup held up through crazy wind taking pictures outside, and all the way until the end of the after party. I cannot recommend Katie enough, and hope to work with her again!

Katie is SO precious, and I cannot say enough great things about her! She went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect for our wedding day. I only used her services for bridal hair but she + her team did hair & makeup for the bridesmaids, moms, and little ones in our wedding, and everything turned out flawless. She was so communicative, which I very much appreciated. She is very easy to talk to in person (HUGE for me!), and from the trial to the big day, I was so impressed with her work. Katie even walked with me through Amazon links to hair pieces and earrings to make sure everything would come together!! Her team also did hair and makeup for our friends' wedding, which is how I heard about her, and I got so many compliments on both occasions. I cannot say enough great things about this team! Katie and her team were amazing! I usually don't wear a lot of makeup so I wanted it to look more natural and it was perfect and not overdone. My hair turned out exactly how I wanted it as well. I did a half up half down look with extensions. I got so many compliments on both my hair and makeup. My bridesmaids' and mom's hair/makeup up was gorgeous as well and they were all very happy with it. My reception was mainly outside in the August heat and my hair/makeup stayed perfect the entire night. Everyone couldn't believe how good it still looked at the end of the reception.

If you are thinking about hiring Katie for your wedding DO IT! Best decision I made! Katie and her team were amazing. They listened to what all my bridesmaids wanted and helped make suggestions when needed. All my girls looked gorgeous! Katie made my wedding hair dreams come true. I wanted a half up half down look. After my hair trial, I realized I wanted more volume in the front and Katie was able to make really good suggestions to help get exactly what I wanted. My hair turned out amazing on my wedding day. She also suggested I buy hair extensions to make my hair look fuller and I’m so glad I did. For my make up she was able to achieve exactly what I wanted. I don’t wear a lot of make up normally and I didn’t want it over the top. She was able to make it look very natural and beautiful.

Wow! Where do I even begin!? I've worked with Katie a few times for photoshoots and makeup lessons (I'm completely hopeless when it comes to makeup) so when I got engaged, I knew I needed Katie to do my make-up for my big day (and rehearsal dinner) and she was one of the first vendors I booked. I cannot say enough great things about Katie! She truly is an artist and always make me feel like a super model. She really listens to what your vision is and executes it perfectly (even when I have no idea how to describe what I actually want). She was so easy to communicate with and made everything so simple. Prior to my wedding day, we did a trial run to make sure we were on the same page and she also did my makeup for my rehearsal dinner which I loved! All my bridesmaids loved their makeup too and couldn't stop raving about what a great job Katie and her team did (we've been in enough weddings and have some horror stories so that's saying a lot). My makeup lasted the entire day/night which is no easy task with an outfit change and hours spent on the dance floor. Not only are her makeup skills incredible but she is such a kind person and someone I've loved getting to know over the years. Seriously. If you need a makeup artist for your wedding day, book Katie! You won't regret it!

So amazing! Very prompt with responses, arrived early to the venue and was very efficient with her set up so we could get started quickly! She and her assistant were very creative and listened to exactly what we wanted. They were also both kind enough to help us with our makeup and give us advice since we didn’t have a professional make up artist on the big day. To me, that was above and beyond anything I could have asked for! Once we were all done, they both gave us some touch ups on hair right before pictures, really shows they care about their work. I would definitely hire her again!

I can't recommend Katie + her team enough! I requested a complex updo for my wedding, and Katie executed it FLAWLESSLY. She is so sweet, punctual, and worked with me + my bridesmaids intently to give everyone a hairstyle that they loved. 12/10 recommend!

I had been seeing Katie for about 4 months prior to the wedding to get skin care done and my skin had never looked or felt better than it did leading up to the wedding. She helped prep my skin for the months before the wedding, and she sent a detailed schedule with everyone’s times so that there wasn’t a “who wants to go next” situation. Katie and team even put up with my two golden retrievers at my house where we were getting ready. All of the girls were so happy with how their hair and makeup turned out, AND it lasted all day and night. I hope I don’t ever have to do the whole wedding thing ever again, but if I do, Katie will be my first call.

I would hire Katie over and over again. She was accommodating when we had to change our wedding date shortly after booking. My hair looked EXACTLY like the photo I showed her. Chatting with her during my trial was so much fun and it made me look forward to seeing her again the day of the wedding. She made me feel comfortable to be honest about any changes I might want for the big day and when the day came - she nailed it.
