We were originally going to Mexico and you were SO EXCITED and then when things changed to a 45 person wedding in my friends backyard you jumped at the change and ensured me everything was going to be absolutely PERFECT and because of YOU, it was! but she really made you feel relaxed and it was so relaxing and my skin looked and felt great! The day of the wedding. The hair stylists and makeup artists arrive early with every tool and bit of makeup you could imagine. They were being and cheerful even early in the morning. They helped make the morning fun. They also did a great job and working with all of the different requests and even changed things up last minute, like adding lashes or airbrushing.

This is coming from a gal who considered doing their OWN MAKEUP for their wedding day ! THANK GOD I met Sue before I made that horrible mistake. Sue and her team are so fun loving and amazing at what they do. I still felt like myself but like an elevated version of myself. I felt beautiful and I could tell all the girls felt beautiful too. This was actually the first wedding I was in where I didn’t get pulled into a bathroom by 3 different bridesmaids asking me “do I look like I have a lot of make up on?! Omg I hate it”. Everyone was actually bragging in the mirror saying how good they looked while they did those excited girl dances that we all tend to find ourselves in when we are feeling confident and hot, hot, HOT! Sue and her team are true artists. They knew how to bring out each girls best feature and make them feel like a 12 out of 10. Not only are the great at what they do but their whole vibe is exactly what everyone NEEDS the morning of a wedding. They all made me feel so comfortable, maybe almost too comfortable now that i think back to some of the jokes i was cracking. But hey, my bestie is as getting married, the champagne was flowing at 10am, and i felt like Blake lively. They were SO professional and got all 14 girls done an hour before Pictures even started. AGAIN, This was the FIRST AND ONLY TIME I loved my makeup and I cannot wait for them to make me beautiful all over again on my wedding day! For my wedding, Christie and Sue brought two assistants with them to my house to get everyone ready. They were able to get 10 girls done ahead of schedule. I could remember her name, that did it but I’m at a loss. I will say my husband was so disappointed in my hair that he still hasn’t changed his background on his phone to a picture of us and has the trial still. His words were “Did you change what you were doing?” It was and still is VERY upsetting. For the amount they charged (and were rude about the tip received) they aren’t worth it. Plus they gave us no notice they were bringing a third person and charged us more which I, as the bride covered. I’d stay clear of them.

In the 2 trials run I did with her, she was able to recreate some of the quite complicated Pinterest-inspired styles I showed her to a T. Sue was so easy to work with and brings such a great energy to the room, she made planning and organizing everything for the morning of my wedding easy. My wedding was August 11, 2018 and we had a 11:30 am ceremony, so our start time for hair and makeup was at 5 am. Sue and her team drove out to our hotel in Riverhead in POURING rain and thunderstorms, and with dangerous flashing flooding on the highways and still arrived on time! I really appreciate them coming out in that weather and I was so concerned for their safety, but they came in, set up and were ready to work. My bridesmaids, mom, mother in-law, grandmothers, and myself all looked so stunning! They worked quickly and were so professional, I have nothing but amazing things to say about them. My hair and makeup held no problem despite the horrible weather and humidity that day. Thank you to the whole team at Beauty Mark for starting off our morning on such a positive note and for making us all look so beautiful!

Her and another makeup stylist did 14 makeup for 14 girls so easily and efficiently and everyone looked perfect!! They are so easy to work with and such a pleasure to have around on your big day!!!

She seemed genuinely interested in asking me questions about my fiance and me. You could also tell she loves doing hair. She was quick and the up do she did was beautiful. I will have it done for the actual wedding day! Mel did my makeup. She was sassy and funny too. She took her time doing everything and asked me what I was interested in at the beginning. She mimicked a look that I loved and brought a photo of. My only complaint is that I was not asked if I wanted the airbrush makeup which is more money, it was just automatically done. I didn't stop her because I don't know how this stuff works (I have never had my makeup or hair professionally done in my life) and at that point I was like the hell with it as she had already done the fake eyelashes too lol. So really it wasn't any ones fault but my own, I should have said something since I wasn't asked. I got a quick look at myself in the mirror at the salon and loved the outcome, but when I was home in different lighting I could see some slight imperfections that didn't really bother me, but on my wedding day I would hope that it would look better and I'm sure it will. Overall these ladies are great and so fun in a cute little shop! I would highly recommend!!!!

After my trail Sue even helped to get my skin perfectly clear and healthy before my wedding day, teaching me about how to manage and treat my rosacea properly. The morning of my wedding went flawlessly!! We had an afternoon wedding and a lot of friends and family wanting to get hair and makeup done all together. I was so nervous about timing but didn’t have a bit of stress that morning. Everything went smoothly without a single person feeling rushed. The final products of hair and makeup were all gorgeous! I couldn’t have asked for a better salon to work with for my wedding day and was so happy with Sue and her staff that have officially switched to using Sue’s salon for all my regular hair appointments and skin treatments!! ir make-up done as I find that the make-up artist tends to put way too much on and it just looks very heavy. But with Sue - she makes you look absolutely gorgeous but natural at the same time. The make-up also feels so light on your face. I didn't even need to give her a photo of what I wanted because she simply just knew exactly what I was looking for and I absolutely loved my make-up for the big day! I cannot say enough amazing things about her talent as a make-up artist - highly recommend her 100%! I also had her team for my hair (Kiersten) and she did an amazing job as well! She also did my hair for a few previous weddings, and it was always exactly what I wanted. She gave me these beautiful soft, old hollywood waves to match my vintage style wedding dress. I did not want to do anything intense or invasive, so I decided to try Sublime, which encourages colagen growth, is reasonably priced, and when its done, I just put on my makeup and go! No irritation or swelling at all. I would encourage anyone to give it a try. I also love the facials and skin care advice I have gotten from Olga. Beauty Mark frequently offers specials that are a great opportunity to try something new. That is how I first tried a Sublime treatment. I have sensitive skin, and the skincare and makeup products are some of the best I have ever used. I have been going to Beauty Mark for several years, and became a VIP member this past year. Best investment I ever made.

They set up quickly and made everyone feel incredibly at ease. Sue and Kirsten made sure that we all looked gorgeous. They kept everyone on schedule and handled any hiccups smoothly and cheerfully. My mother-in-law had planned to do her own make-up, but she immediately asked Sue to help her after seeing how beautiful her work was. Sue gladly assisted her and the results were wonderful! Sue and Kirsten never grumbled when someone expressed a concern or requested a touch-up. Thanks to these ladies, everyone felt like the best version of themselves on my wedding day. Sue and Kirsten packed up quickly when their work was done, giving the photographer more space for pictures. I heard so many comments about how relaxed and enjoyable the morning of my wedding was. I know that Sue and Kirsten were crucial in setting that happy tone. My sister is getting married in June and she immediately requested the salon's information from me after seeing how Sue and Kirsten conducted themselves. I could not have asked for more in terms of professionalism, friendliness, and outcome.

ad to the point where it looked like a rats nest. I can't stand when I spend money on a trial and get told that this will be better on your wedding day... isn't that what a trial is for? To get a preview of your wedding hair and makeup? Make up was equally as sloppy. My eyeliner was crooked and way too thick. Please brides, save your money. The ladies were nice, but definitely not up to par with what wedding professionals should be.

received the day of my wedding! Leslie was our hair dresser and was SOOO sweet!!! I added human hair extensions that looked incredible! The ladies were right on time and we had such a GREAT time ! My bridal party was my two daughters. My two mothers got their hair/makeup done as well, we all had SO much fun getting ready listening to music and chatting. Christine continued with us to the reception for touch ups. IF this is something you can add on to your day DO IT!!!! Christine was more than just a makeup artist that day but a friend and my kids and family adored her! She was SO helpful in so many ways, carrying the train of my dress when needed or grabbing me a sip of water. We got to know each other before my wedding day at Beauty Mark Salon & Spa which is is SO adorable definitely go beforehand for a hair & makeup trial and a facial with Christine. I got a few facials with Christine and she is such a wonderful person and I know I will be returning to the spa for years to come! Maureen the receptionist is awesome and checks in with you leading up to your big day making you feel at ease and every time I call she knows exactly who I am! Now that's GREAT customer service! She goes above and beyond for her brides and their friends/family. I could not be happier with my choice. I am still receiving compliments about how amazing my makeup looked on the day of my wedding. my hair for being at a "awkward length" cause i was growing it out. At that point i was already in tears and just nodding my head at her because I just wanted to go home. Realistically the "akward length" she was having a problem with was exactly the length i was aiming for in the front. Its called a bob.  I showed her what i was considering for my girls and expressed thats not MY style and i still wanted to look like me. NO Extensions. After over an hour in the chair and managing to make my face look super round and heavy I was ready to give up. I just wanted to cry. Its my own fault because i should have walked out right then and there. But they tell me they will wash it out and get your makeup done and we will get this done. My makeup was fine. I liked it. It was basically exactly what i was looking for. Once outside it could have been blended better but it was doable. Back into the hair chair i go, and end up just having my hair blown out. Exactly how i would do it for a night at the bar. Nothing bridal about it but at this point it was the only way I was going to be happy. I feel extremely taken advantage of.  The fact that they had the nerve to hand me a contract and tell me I need to book by Weds when they had not even managed to make me happy about my hair really bothered me. I felt pressured. I felt even more pressured when they hit me over the head to pay to smile and say yes everything is fine. Do you seriously think its fine?  I payed because I didnt have choice, not because the services were worth it.  It felt like a ripoff considering I did not get what I came in looking for.  It was ruined the moment I cried while women working there are lying to my face telling me I look pretty when I don't. This was such a horrible experience.

All 22 people were able to get their make-up done in plenty of time for the photographers to arrive to take pictures and us to go off to get married. All of my bridesmaids and family were completely satisfied with their make-up and loved how great they looked and felt that day. Hair and make-up was definitely the least stressful time of our day and we loved that Beauty Mark Spa was a part of it! I loved my make-up and continue to see Sue at her salon for laser hair removal which is also a fabulous service she provides! I would certainly recommend her services to anyone and look forward to my visits at the salon :)
