He was willing to do everything to ensure our wedding went smoothly. Played our choice of music and some of his own. Our guests loved the music playlist.

Jim was fantastic and helped me a great deal by providing me sheets of questions to fill out. One song we picked was a remake done by Blake Shelton that I couldn't find anywhere but YouTube. Well, Jim found it and it was perfect! We added a gam...
e during the reception and told him right before our entrance and it was like we had it planned all along. He's extremely fun and professional and got everyone dancing (even the people the were adamant they weren't going to!). I'd recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing reception that flows perfectly!

I absolutely loved that Jim gave me an agenda to fill out for what and when he will be playing the music. Every song that we requested he played...also includes a do not play list too!

Jim is such a fantastic DJ! He really listens to what you want, has a great sense of how to read a crowd to keep the dance floor packed all night, has amazing prices, and was willing to download any music we wanted if he didn't already have it ...
in his extensive playlist. I went with the music from Disney/Pixar's UP for the ceremony, and he got it for me because he didn't already have it. It was SO perfect! He also did an outstanding job keeping the reception paced well. I have no complaints and truly enjoyed working with him.

I like Jim and was happy to have him as our DJ. We went over everything and I felt confident.
However, Jim was in an accident. I'm so happy he's okay!!!! However, his replacement ruined our wedding. Our first dance was wrong, our plans were t...
otally ignored while they were sitting there in writing, played nothing but Boyz 2 Men, top 40, and line dances and insulted my grandmother with no censoring.
Jim would have been great. His contingency plan ruined our wedding and our memories of that day.

Jim was amazing! He knew just what to do to move things along with the wedding and was sure to play all the songs we requested. He has been in the business for a long time and it shows. He is very personable and professional. I appreciate t...
hat he told us when his time was about to be up for what we had paid him, and he was willing to stay longer for just a little more money.

Jim was great at reading the crowd and getting everyone where they needed to be. He was so easy to work with and was open to any changes that came his way! People were out dancing the whole time! We had a blast!!

Jim is a very fun DJ and definitely made our event exciting; he is very easygoing and open to creativity, as well as has many different resources to get the exact music you want for a wedding. Everyone loved his services at the wedding, and he ...
was very easy and flexible to work with during the planning process, especially as we had moved and had to plan remotely. I highly recommend him!

Jim made a compilation of requested songs so we could do a special dance. It turned out really well! He did a great job directing the reception an announcing everything. Didn't hear some of our requested songs but wasn't a big deal. I did h...

Was part of our package @ Z mansion. Felt as though he was the only option as when we went to meet with the vendors the other DJ did not come, and he was somewhat aggressive on us signing. Very hurried, and short. Since we lived far away, email...
correspondences we necessary. We had to plan our rehearsal on the thurs prior to sat wedding. Three times we had to reclarify it, as he hadn't known about it twice despite previous emails, and then had to switch the time. To get a 2pm Thursday rehearsal for a Saturday evening wedding cost extra and seemed like a HUGE deal. Since everyone in the bridal party was from out of town, this was the earliest we could do it, and Wednesday was not feasible.
In addition to the Rehearsal time debacle, the package we had selected was the top all inclusive one, that included the use of a projector screen. The year prior on our annual trip home, when we signed the contract with him we had notified him we would like to use it. We also reminded him in each email, and at the meetings at Z mansion. Each time he acted as if he had no idea we had previously talked about it. My mother also went to discuss details with him during the rehearsal, and he waved it off like no big deal. Day of the wedding, when she went to deliver the slideshow to him, he got very flustered, said it was not part of the package, and would not be possible since it had never been talked about. And he had no idea how to hook it up. Finally after being somewhat rude to family and friends who were attempting to help problem solve how to get it working, it was able to be ran; however he set up the projector screen in the back of the gazebo, the picture screen was poorly placed on it (could have been easily maximized to fill the whole projector screen) and despite requests he was very abrupt with family members.
During the wedding he came to me with every little detail in a very harsh way like you need to do this NOW! I felt ordered around, and as though he was very bothered to be there, and this was JUST another wedding. I am sure it was for him, but it was my ONLY wedding. And he was paid to be there, like it or not. We had hoped there would be lots of dancing; there wasn't. There was a playlist that didn't seem to get much airtime; and he didn't seem to feel out the crowd. At the end of the wedding, our getaway vehicle arrived. We had arranged for it to be there for a long window, so we could exit when we were ready. He made me feel like I had to go right that moment and "figure out" what to do with them. I was taken aback at how I was spoken to all evening. I felt like I had to problem solve, and was not able to enjoy the evening at all. Had I known this, I gladly would have paid more out of pocket for a better experience. This was the only negative of our wedding, but it goes to show just how important a DJ can be.

had played more "true disco" ?!) He played the songs we asked for, took requests, kept the evening flowing, and even got out and boogied for the line dances! He went beyond what we had asked for, so we DEFINATELY RECOMMEND JIM!
I am not sure of the cost since it was part of our wedding package.

Jim is such a great guy and pleasure to work with. We had some special requests because we had a mixed cultural wedding and he totally came through. I would definitely recommend him as a DJ.
