e was a VERY reasonable price for such a high-end product. Our cake tasted AMAZING. And Amanda was a pleasure to work with. During our tasting session, she made flavor suggestions we wouldn't have thought of or considered, which we ended up going with over what we initially thought we had wanted. She listened and understood our vision completely, so that she was able to create a cake that matched exactly what we had in mind for a beautiful minimalist aesthetic, and a dessert bar that was completely fitting for a fall wedding. We'll definitely be going back to Bella Christie to taste some of those wonderful desserts we didn't get to try the night of the wedding because the dessert bar was nearly gone by the time we got to it... we got so many compliments on how delicious it all was!

tasting experiences themselves were awful (pushy staff, no seating, lack of options, small tasting portions). From the get go, Amanda instructed us to choose the cake flavors and fillings we wished to try. At the Aspinwall location, they had a nice table to sit at, offered us drinks, and brought us each three giant slices of cake in the desired flavors with the filling options in the center of the table. It was so fun to mix and match the different choices. Everything was delicious and the quality of the piping and design was fantastic! We've received so many compliments. We decided on chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and espresso buttercream fillings.

The liquid nitrogen station was fantastic also - guests loved it -- there was a line wrapped outside of the room for people to get in to the desserts and liquid nitrogen. After our meeting, we came up with numerous changes, and worked it al out with Amanda via email, although we could have also set up another appointment to work with her. When we had questions about how certain changes would affect the price, she was able to get back to us with updated estimates based on the changes we were asking about. Amanda and the team at Bela Christie truly went above and beyond. They even worked with us in designing a special cookie for our night. When we finally arrived to the reception, we were stunned by how beautiful our cake ended up being. Even better, thought, was how delicious it was. We will definitely order from them again in the future!!

We went with a small cutting cake that was hazelnut cake with espresso buttercream and very berry compote, it was so flavorful and the frosting was to die for, I love her special style of buttercream, it’s the perfect sweetness without being cloyingly sweet. We also went with cupcakes for all of our guests. We loved that we could pick any of their flavors they offer and she even let us special order singles of some flavors to taste before picking which she definitely did not have to do. There really were no bad options and all our guests loved the variety of flavors we had. I would go back to her for any type of dessert again and again! The display and decorations were literally the icing on top, it was gorgeous and fit perfectly with our overall wedding.

Very unhappy with the cake but that being said, Amanda was great to work with and we had great communication with her. Would recommend.

, so it was perfect! We also chose to have a s'mores station with Bella Christie to have during the remainder of our reception. It was a HUGE hit with our guests and all of the ingredients were completely gone! It was wonderful to work with the Bella Christie staff. Everything was super delicious. s very satisfied with the results. Only thing I wish was that they had more choices of cupcake towers. But they were so great and offered to even remake our 1 year anniversary cake if we didn't want to freeze it.

First of all, they gave us coffee with our tasting (which none of the other bakeries did -- huge bonus points) and they packed up a little take-home sample for my fiancé who couldn't make it (extra bonus points). They were the only bakery of the three that could do the naked cake that I wanted because they made their cake fresh that morning. We picked a naked almond cake with vanilla bean and dulce de leche filling and fruit on top and it was a-mazing - and stunning. People were literally lining up to take pictures of the cake. No one had ever seen anything like it. We worked with Amanda and she was great at getting back to me with e-mails and telling me exactly what was going on. Everyone loved the cake and we cannot wait to get our free one-year anniversary version of it! I would recommend them to anyone.

as only 2 tiers. Unfortunately they made the cake unbalanced and it was not centered so it swayed back and forth on the cake stand when sitting on the table. We almost had a mishap but thankfully a friend noticed it before it fell. We had to removed it from the stand and place it on the table. Considering the cake was only 2 tiers, having moved the stand took away from the appeal. For the reason that the cake was not balanced and we could not use the stand I will give them 3 stars. We still had to pay for it or otherwise I would have given 4. The value for price was less than expected, considering our cake cost $600 and it was only 2 tiers, as well as sheet cake for 100 people. This seemed expensive to me.

About 2 weeks before my wedding I gave up and just went into the shop. Of course, they apologized and I had a great time discussing the final details!

Regardless, they made the most amazing wedding cake I could have asked for. When looking for my dream cake, I couldn't find it online but once I described it to them it came out just as I imagined.

They even helped us save some money with a few tricks, and we get a free cake on our anniversary next year. However, they were able to honor a special request I had to put some figurines on the cake. They did a really great job placing those exactly how I wanted with only a note of written instruction. For the package it was a really great deal.

My only complaint was the communicating with Maureen got a little bit difficult. She seemed to misplace a couple emails- which does happen. She's sweet as sugar though, but maybe a little scatter brained during wedding season. I often found myself calling her to confirm she'd received my email a few days after not hearing from her. It was just slightly frustrating since communicating via email is so much easier for keeping track of all the vendor communication. In the end though the end product made me so happy with our choice to go with Bella Christie over Oakmont.

My husband was a little put off at first because the night we had our cake tasting (which all of the cake and icing flavors are amazing!), the decorator that we worked with Maureen offered the couple that came in after us various things to drink and we were never offered anything. I looked at it as an oversight but he was a little offended. It was a little difficult working with Maureen at times as it took her a long time to respond to emails and to get the sketches of the cake to me, which she said was due to a faulty scanner. However we only had to have the design chosen days before the event. She drew us two beautiful designs and was able to come up with ideas after I had sent her other pictures of what I liked. It was hard to make a decision! We only did a two tier cake because we are both not big cake eaters and we decided to do cake pops instead because they have delicious cake pops. The cake looked absolutely beautiful on our wedding day, I didn't even want to cut it! I just wanted to take it home and keep it on display! The cake pops weren't exactly what I had ordered, they were supposed to be solid dark purple glitter and the others were supposed to be all gold glitter. Instead they were drizzled with glitter and the purple was lighter than it was supposed to be but they looked beautiful! We still have a couple left over. After looking through all of their books of what they have done, I will definitely continue to use them! It was reasonably priced as well for getting a two tier cake and 165 cake pops. I would definitely recommend this bakery!!

a cake that I liked that was fondant on buttercream - they made it perfectly! A lot of other bakeries are not familiar with doing this, but Bella Christies does it all the time! If you are looking for a wonderful, unique cake for a great price, go to see Chef Kate! :)
