A MUST BOOK!!! Syreeta is AMAZING!!! We made a last minute decision to get a professional dance instructor for our first dance at our wedding and we could not have made a better decision with Bella Joy Ballroom Rhythms and Syreeta!!! She was extremely flexible accommodating our schedule and very patient with us as we never formally danced together. One of the things I absolutely loved and thought was so professional and respectful, was she would always ask my partner and I if it was okay to dance with the other when she wanted to demonstrate something. For us we didnt care but it just showed the respect and mindfulness she has for her clients. She put together a beautiful dance for us and would send us a video of us doing it as a tool to practice with in between lessons and she even meet us at our venue during our rehearsal to do a last minute practice in the actual space. I cant say enough how AMAZING it was to work with Syreeta. She made us feel completely comfortable in our own skin. Everyone at our wedding was so suprised by our dance and kept telling my husband they didnt know he could dance. She made the whole process fun and lighthearted and we can't wait to take more lessons with her!!!

OH MY GOSH! Look no further and hire Syreeta! First of all, she is the kindest, most patient dance instructor I've had the pleasure of working with. I have horrible performance anxiety and she made me feel so at ease. Second, wedding planning is stressful, with Syreeta dance class becomes date night!! We cannot wait to go back to have regular dance class dance class date nights with her studio! Third, her choreography!! She doesn't just teach you to dance, she gives you the gift of a personal dance crafted to your first song and desired style! My husband and I have 2 left feet and we didn't start classes until a month before the wedding (don't do this, start earlier) and with Syreeta's help, we had a dance we could be proud of and remember for the rest of our lives! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I could not say enough about how amazing Syreeta was! At the very beginning there was a bit of confusion about the scheduling. Needless to say, when we showed up no one was at the studio. I bring this up only to say just how accommodating she was. She was in northern VA for something that morning and offered to drive to my house to hold the lessons at my house at a later time that same day. She was very kind and patient. My fiancé and I took the three basic classes to prepare for our wedding. He does not like dancing and does not like being put on the spot, so as you can imagine this was difficult for him. We both had a lot of fun! When either of us got frustrated, Syreeta would bring us back and reassure us that everything was going to be OK. We had our wedding and did pretty well- we had some mess ups but we didn’t stop! We smiled through it and had fun! Thank you SO much Syreeta for teaching us and helping and feel confident. Would recommend her to anyone!

At the Silk Mill Wedding Expo we met Michael Sims and hired him to teach us a routine so my now wife and I won't look silly for our first dance. He was fantastic. Absolutely loved him as an instructor. He was patient and made me enjoy the lessons. The hour long lessons just flew by because he was such an engaging instructor. Great teacher!
