Hey there! We're so glad you're here and can't wait to chat more about your coordination needs! You probably want to know a little bit about us, right? Well, after over a decade in the wedding industry as nationally recognized, award winning VIP wedding planners, located in and serving the Metro Detroit and Northern Michigan area, we have planned just about every type of event and wedding known to man. From rustic farm weddings, to chic' museum fete's. We have OFFICIALLY done it all, and seen it all. No. But, really. We have really seen it ALL! In fact we planned, designed and coordinated over one thousand weddings and events in our thirteen years as wedding planners. In 2017 we decided to take a break from planning, and focus solely on our floral design work with Jen House Design. We coordinated our last big VIP wedding in June of '17 and closed our beloved sister company, A MOMENT IN TIME WEDDINGS. It was bitter sweet, but, looking back, we are brimming with pride in the accomplishments and experiences we had as the owners of AMIT Weddings. After a little break and a whole lot of soul searching, (and people attempting to bribe us to come back into the industry and plan their weddings) we made a big decision to take our years of expertise, rally our amazing team of planners and concierge level coordinators, and offer the most common and sought after wedding planning package, Day of Coordination, within our services at JHD. It seemed that our design clients had a need and desire for it to be offered in house, and our venues and vendors were pleading for it. We were already set up for success to offer this service, and our eager team of coordinators were ready to once again tackle wedding days for the masses. So, that's how BEST DAY EVER came to life. But, what about us? What about our team? What makes us special other than the obvious. Well, we've already gone into detail about our award winning experience, and our years of planning and executing big and small weddings for our incredible clients. But, what you should also know is that we're fun. Like, really fun. Weddings are supposed to be a blast, it is a party after all, and what's a party without a little fun? Of course, we know, we know! Weddings can be stressful (that's why you're here seeking us out undoubtedly) and it's absolutely our job to be detailed, alleviate stress, and to assist with all of your big day needs, that goes without saying. But, it's also our job to bring good energy to every event we work. We want you to feel taken care of, supported, understood. We want you to KNOW that you have a liason on your side on your wedding day and the month leading up to it. That a team of lovely ladies with a ton of experience, has your back, and that our life's mission is to bring all of your details and wedding day dreams to fruition. So.
