Nicolette was so amazing to work with! She was very communicative and personable, and made things especially easy as an out of state bride. My makeup stayed perfectly the whole day/night, and I got so many compliments. I can’t recommend her and her team enough!

On your wedding day If you want to feel confident, beautiful, and comfortable this is your girl. Truly I could not have loved my hair more - I can’t speak more highly of her professionalism and services for me as the bride and all my girls who matter most .

Nicolette did hair and makeup for my 12/10/23 wedding. She was amazing and so patient throughout the whole process. I went through a few iterations of hair and ended up doing something completely different from my trial on the day-of and she still nailed the look! Same with my makeup...she struck a perfect balance of glam and looking like my natural self. In addition to my hair and makeup, Nicolette and her team did my whole bridal party's look. It was pouring the entire day and everyone's hair & makeup stayed perfect for hours, despite the terrible weather conditions. 10/10 recommend Nicolette & her team!

Married on 8/12/23 Nicolette is such a ray of sunshine and is a talented artist! From the trial where she guided me on where to buy hair extensions to the day of, Nicolette and her assistant were super patient with everyone and what style they wanted day of. She was amazing to work with and I highly recommend her!! She helped make my wedding day magical and stress free!

Nicolette & her team did an amazing job for my wedding on 12/2. Herself & the 3 girls she brought with her finished myself and my 8 girls, 2 moms & flower girl in a timely & efficient manner. There was nothing that they couldn’t do as far as hair styles / makeup & made sure my girls felt beautiful & fixed whatever tweaks that they needed if they had any! As for me, Nicolette made my vision come alive. Compared to the trial we went all out for glam but I still looked like & felt like myself, even though i couldn’t believe what i was seeing in the mirror, i looked & felt more beautiful than i ever have. My makeup & hair stayed all day & it’s exactly what i wanted. Cannot recommend Nicolette enough, & she’s the sweetest person to hang out with & makes you feel at ease on a very crazy morning for you as the bride! Double plus is having to only deal with one person and not two separate companies for hair and makeup, while being able to execute both beautifully & perfectly, she’s so incredibly talented & worth it.

Nicolette is a sweetheart. I booked her from word of mouth through a coworker (loved the hair style that was done). I had my trial set for my engagement shoot, but it unfortunately was cancelled due to her daughter getting sick. Nicolette was apologetic and was able to do my hair for my engagement party. I showed her the hairstyle I wanted for my wedding and we discussed doing something different for the engagement party. Meeting her for the first time at her place of business she was very warm and welcoming; felt like a friend! I got so many compliments on my hair at the engagement party and my half up-do lasted the whole night. I have a lot of hair and it is on the thicker side. I did not need extensions for my wedding day. I did a bun for my wedding day, but with a twist to it! She was patient and continued to try the style until she got it. Nicolette and one of her coworkers showed up at the hotel on time and ready to go. My girls loved speaking with them and enjoyed their hairstyles. My flower girl was super excited. On the wedding day the bun stayed together the whole night, there was a small piece of hair that must have gotten loose therefore I have a strand of hair falling out in the bun, but it didn't upset me because the whole bun stayed together! Nicolette followed up with me the next day, beating me to it in showing my appreciation for her being a part of my special day. We still keep in contact and I cannot wait to share with her some wedding photos of my hair! I'm honestly sad that she only does wedding hair! (She does do makeup as well, but I didn't use her for that!)

Nicolette and her team made me and my girls look stunning at my wedding. I have never felt more beautiful!! My hair was exactly what I wanted and my makeup stayed all night. She gave me suggestions at my trial and color matched me to extensions that helped give me my desired look. My bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup and we finished right on schedule. This team was the best! Nicolette was so responsive, patient, understanding and helpful any time I had a question. Jamie and Cadence did an amazing job with my bridesmaids’ hair and make up! I live in LA so I haven’t got the time to do hair and make up trial. Nicolette exceed my expectations! I was so in love with my hair and make up the day of my wedding! It lasted all day from early in the morning to late in the evening. 10/10 recommend!

I was so nervous about booking hair for the wedding as I know it is a HUGE factor and can make or break how you feel on the big day. From the minute I arrived at my hair trial, Nicolette was so warm, friendly and made me feel so comfortable. We did a few different hairstyles and I felt confident she would KILL it on the wedding day. On the wedding day, she again was so warm, friendly and made me and my girls feel so comfortable. I truly felt comfortable if there was anything I needed adjusted or didn't like (which there wasn't) that I could communicate that with her. I noticed the difference between her energy vs. my make up girls and trust me the personality and energy MATTERS. I truly loved working with her and talking with her. She did an absolute AMAZING job on my wedding hair, I got so many compliments and felt so beautiful. My hair stayed the entire day, even when I was dancing and sweating. Nicolette was absolutely wonderful to work with! My bridal party and I received so many compliments on our hair and makeup throughout the night. I had 4 bridesmaids and Nicolette did everyone’s makeup and then had another hair stylist with her who did my bridesmaids hair. Everything was great! She really helped make me feel calm on my wedding day and was a great person to have around the morning of the wedding. She was able to create the exact look I was going for! I also did the touch up services with Nicolette and I think it was definitely worth the money and peace of mind since we got married in a church and did pictures after. Nicolette and her team did an absolutely fabulous job on my hair and my entire bridal party. There was a slight hiccup in the morning that was out of the teams control and they still managed to finish all 12 people in my bridal party and my hair with time to spare! I had a very special headpiece I wanted to put into my hair and Nicolette even cut it to fit just right and look beautiful with my updo. I cannot rave about her enough! I LOVED my experience with Beyond the Brush! When my wedding was postponed 2 years, I was (secretly) excited about it because I could hire BTB after finding their instagram account. Nicolette understood my vision for my hairstyle and executed it with ease. She was thoughtful, sweet, professional, and easy to communicate with. More than that, I truly appreciated how easy it was to have her there in that hectic getting-ready morning-of environment; she was comfortable to be around and by the end she just felt like another friend! I can't imagine having used anyone else.

Nicolette did my hair and makeup for both our micro wedding and wedding reception! She is SO talented, accommodating, sweet, and professional. I asked for very different looks for both of my days (one glam, one classic) and she executed both ideas PERFECTLY. The team that Nicolette brought with her for my bridal party was awesome! All of my girls LOVED their looks as well and everyone's hair and makeup stayed absolutely perfectly for the whole day (even despite the torrential down pouring!). I booked Nicolette's touch-up service as well for our reception. Nicolette was such a comforting presence in the bridal suite as she made sure every hair was in place and that my makeup was flawless. My hair stayed in place through strong winds while we were taking photos and my makeup still looked amazing by the time I was taking it off before going to bed. I am the most indecisive person and couldn’t decide what style I wanted for my wedding day. After my trial I reached out to her expressing how I didn’t feel that was the right style for me and despite how busy she was catching up with all COVID brides plus all her new brides she still managed to make time to squeeze me in for a second trial. She even color matched my hair for me and ordered extensions for me that shipped directly to my house. I had a big bridal party with 12 girls who needed to get their hair done and was so worried about getting ready in time. Nicolette is the most organized person who made a timeline for the morning of making sure we were all ready when my photographer showed up. I truly cannot say enough amazing things about her. I am still obsessing over my hair to this day and probably will forever!

My review is LONG overdue! My wedding was back in August and originally was November 2020. So as many brides know the stress of being a postponed Covid bride added a new layer of anxiety. Nicolette made the transition to my new date seamless and stress free. Any time I had a question prior to my date she answered with such care and detail. Prior to my date I didn’t even have time to do a trial and trusted the reviews and work of her team and I am so glad I did. Nicolette and her team worked seamlessly with the makeup artists and completed my hair, my mother’s hair, and 11 bridesmaids right on time. I was stressing so much about everything being on time and let me tell you, this team is amazing with timing but without compromising quality!! Everyone looked absolutely beautiful and Nicolette and her team of girls were such sweethearts and made us feel like we were getting ready with friends which is exactly what a bride needs. I normally get very nervous when anyone is doing my hair but Nicolette listened to exactly what I wanted and my hair came out stunning. It was HOT out that day and my curls did not fall out and stayed pretty much perfect until I decided to finally wash it! I could not recommend Beyond The Brush more to any bride who needs the absolute best.

Nicolette was one of my favorite vendors to work with. From booking, up until my wedding day she truly felt more like a friend than a vendor. She made everything so easy. As much as I loved Nicolette, my hair was really frizzy and did not look like “bride hair” at all… I didn’t ask for a difficult look - simple half up half down… however for some reason it was very unkempt and I couldn’t have been more dissatisfied with it now that I see my photos.. I wish I had said something when she was finished, but I didn’t really notice how frizzy and messy it looked. She is a really sweet person however I was very unhappy with my look overall. Her photos of other brides are beautiful so I’m not sure why my look turned out poorly - I have very cooperative hair.

Nicolette is talented, kind, hard working and patient! I was unsure of what hairstyle I wanted to do, so at the trial we brainstormed together and she gave me her professional opinions. I absolutely love what we came up with and felt incredibly beautiful, while still feeling like myself, on my big day. I'm so thankful she was a part of my big day!

Nicolette is not only an amazingly talented hair and makeup artist, but also one of the sweetest, most genuine people I’ve met! I ended up doing two hair and makeup trials with her. At my first trial, she did a half-up, curly style with a boho braid and warm natural-glam makeup, which turned out fantastic and was perfect for our fall engagement photos which we had done later that day. I did my second trial closer to my wedding date because I decided I wanted a softer, more glowy makeup look and an updo for my June wedding. I absolutely loved both styles! On our wedding day, she did my hair and makeup which was gorgeous and lasted all day and night (on a very windy day) and makeup for my mom and all my bridesmaids. She brought Kristi (from Desert Moon Hair) to do my mom, bridesmaids and flower girl’s hair. Everyone looked gorgeous and felt so confident! Nicolette was also very patient throughout the wedding planning process, answering all my questions about hair extensions and different style options for me and my girls. I’d wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for hair or makeup services for their wedding or another special occasion!

Where do I begin - Nicolette did the hair and makeup at my cousin’s wedding back in December and I knew I HAD to ask her to be a part of my wedding day as well! Luckily she was available and I am so thankful that she could be part of my special day. First, Nicolette was extremely easy to communicate with, and was prompt to respond to any emails. She even called to check up on me a few weeks before the wedding - such a sweetheart! The morning of, she was right on time and kept our entire morning schedule running perfectly. I absolutely love how my hair and makeup turned out - I looked and felt like myself! As much as I loved the look day of, I could not BELIEVE how amazing the photos came out. Nicolette highlighted my best features and gave me exactly the look I was asking for. Not to mention, even with super straight hair that doesn’t hold a curl, I had beautiful waves all night! Nicolette styled my hair for my wedding day and I can not say enough good things about the service!!! My hair lasted and lasted all night through the dancing, wind, spilled drinks- EVERYTHING. And it was exactly how I envisioned it. She also brought an excited and kind spirit to the morning getting ready which was so special. Highly recommend!

Nicolette did hair & makeup for my 5/21/21 wedding for my bridesmaids, mom, mother in law, my aunt and I. My hair and makeup were perfect and just what I imagined for my wedding day! My friends and family loved their hair and makeup too !! Nicholette also came back and did touch up services before my ceremony which I would 100 percent recommend! Nicolette is amazing !

I was looking at an old friend’s wedding photos and fell in love with her hair and make up, and decided to go with BTB. I did a trial and it was…fun. Nicolette is so warm and is absolute perfectionist. Not one hair was out of place during my trail, much less on the wedding day. What’s more is that her communication prior to and on the day was incredible. She planned our schedule down to the minute, which ensured I was on time for photos and the rest of my day. It made my wedding morning so easy. Plus, my hair and make up ( and the hair/ makeup of my bridal party) looked AMAZING. It held through photos, the ceremony, and lots of dancing. I looked the same at the end of the night as I did at the beginning of the day. I can’t say enough nice things about Nicolette and her team!

I had a micro wedding back in December and Nikki was so incredibly supportive throughout the process. As many brides had experienced down sizing was really difficult to accept. Each experience I had with Nikki was so calming. She listened to all the details and delivered!! I’m looking forward to the future when she can do my hair and makeup for the big reception when the world recovers!

I booked my wedding the weekend before COVID shut down NY. The only things I cared about for my wedding was hair & makeup and the band. If Nicolette was not available for my wedding day, I wasn't going to book for that day. At that point, I had only seen her work and spoke to her from time to time. I did my trial in November and I was a little nervous because my husband doesn't like a lot of makeup. When I came home, his jaw dropped with the biggest smile in his eyes and I knew it was perfect. Nicolette purposely brings out the natural beauty in her brides and makes them stunning. I truly felt like a Christmas Princess for my 12/27 wedding day. She is fun, understanding and supportive which is EXACTLY who you need on your wedding morning. My girls even loved her so much that my cousin booked her for her wedding!!

Nicolette is amazing!! I was so nervous to go to her- I had already paid for a makeup/hair trial with another vendor and absolutely hated it and by that point, I was in a bind and had to find someone to do hair/makeup for and my girls a little last minute. I was recommended by a few of my friends to reach out to Nicolette and LUCKILY, she was able to come to me after another wedding and I couldn’t be more grateful. I have hard skin to work with- terrible rosacea, combo skin, some acne scars. Nicolette transformed me. I truly felt like a princess. And her makeup/ hair laaassstssss. I cried (happy tears) many times throughout the day and even by the end of the night, you couldn’t tell! We hit the dance floor hard (lots of hair flipping involved, sweating) and even my hair still looked great at 2 am when we went to bed. I wore the curls the next day. All my girls were obsessed with how their hair and makeup came out too! Even my mother in law, who is EXTREMELY hard to please. Her and crystal are just such beautiful people and you can tell they truly like to make women feel beautiful as well. Highly recommend.

What can I say other than Nicolette is amazing!!!! She did hair and makeup for me as well as for my mom and sister in November 2020. She was so gracious when we had to postpone our wedding back in March and worked with me through rebooking both our rescheduled ceremony date as well as securing a reception date for 2022. I HIGHLY recommend booking with her immediately. My wedding day would not have been the same without her.

Nicolette did my hair and make up for my minimony this past Sunday, and I got so many compliments on my hair and make up. I struggle with self-confidence and she made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. Can't wait for her to do my make up and hair again in June!
