Kirsten asked thoughtful questions and was genuinely interested in getting to know us to put together arrangements that matched our personalities/styles. We had to postpone our wedding from 2021 (due to COVID), which created some seasonal challenges that affected which flowers would be available for us. There was some delay in Kirsten’s communication about how these changes would impact the costs that we had agreed upon, but we were able to sort everything out professionally and amicably. On the day, the flowers couldn’t have been better: they complimented our outfits and styles just as we hoped…a kind of simple elegance with stunning pops of color. Having (primarily) locally grown flowers at our wedding was extremely important for us and we are thrilled to have gotten to meet Kirsten and support her work.

When I first started planning our wedding, I wasn't even sure I wanted flowers since I know that conventional flowers are generally not sustainable. Then I found Kirsten and I was so happy to find an eco-friendly florist in Kansas City who even grows her own flowers! We ended up using a combination of her locally grown, seasonal flowers with some carefully sourced peonies and roses. When I look back at our wedding, I can't imagine it without Kirsten's beautiful designs. The flowers were just gorgeous and I still can't get over how beautifully my bouquet turned out. It's hard to even put into words just how beautiful, perfect, inspirational, special and intentional the bouquet, corsages, boutonnières, and all of it were on the day. Her choices of flowers and how they were arranged brought to life the historic schoolhouse venues we used. Even after time has passed since our wedding, I can still attest that Kirsten was one of the best decisions we made. I was so in love with all of the work she put into it that I even dried some of the flowers to use as decor around the house and they still look incredible three years later!
