Lauren did an amazing job with makeup as the theme of it was natural looking. I absolutely loved the airbrush makeup. I was honestly a little skeptical about it because I thought I was going to look like a cake face (I don’t wear a lot of makeup). Lauren told me to trust her and so I did. I was in love with the results. This team is amazing and really works with you to give you a stress free time. You’d be crazy if you didn’t hire them.

The day-of, the team was prompt (they traveled to Vermont for the wedding) and had everything prepared so that the schedule ran smoothly. I definitely highly recommend!

5 bridesmaids, and 2 moms and they developed a schedule for the day. They asked for inspo pics when I scheduled my trial, so I felt like I was getting an artist who specialized in my style - which I believe I did in McKenzie! The only issue I had with the trial is that my hair and makeup went over the allotted time, which resulted in a charge (which they warned of in advance), but I don't feel like it was my fault. My makeup was only done once and I only tried one hair style. I don't see how I could have avoided going over, but it was okay because I was happy with my artist. I was happy about this because I was having a great deal of trouble finding artists in VT that did the "natural glam" look I was looking for who were still available. They gave a lot of communications leading up to the wedding and explained thing in detail, which is helpful-if anything there was over-detailed, which you can't complain about. Although sometimes, I would get emails for things I had already done, which made me nervous that things would get missed. On the day of the wedding we had three artists. Sam came first and did all the hair, plus makeup for a couple bridesmaids. She was awesome, gave great ideas and feedback, and delivered gorgeous work. I would recommend her a thousand times over. She was even done a full 40 minutes early on the hair and then was able to finish the makeup early enough add another girl who decided she wanted to get her's done too. All her work was beautiful. And when touchups came, she helped the girls improve things they changed their minds on, with ease. In the afternoon, Elizabeth and McKenzie came from another wedding to finish the bridesmaids along with Sam and to do my hair and makeup. All the work was gorgeous, everyone looked beautiful and natural and the makeup lasted the entire night. The "individual" lashes they use are amazingly comfortable - they don't get heavy like the strips can. I personally felt like my makeup was flawless. McKenzie spent a lot of time on it and it absolutely showed. My hair started out perfect, but it was falling out of the pins that were supposed to hold it over my shoulder before the artists even left the venue and the curls didn't even last through pictures. This is something I was worried about happening because my hair doesn't hold a curl very well and I mentioned this quite a few times - but it did look natural, so I suppose that is the tradeoff. I would just advise brides to say you want to be ready half hour earlier than you need to be ready. It was after “ready time” by the time she started working on my hair. This was the most stressed I was during my entire wedding day, seeing the minutes tick by and realizing I was losing precious time I had scheduled for pictures. However, in the end, my makeup was flawless. It lasted the entire night and I never had to worry about it once, which is definitely worth it.

The day of, we even were AHEAD of schedule we had time to relax a little and it wasn't rush rush rush! My hair also did NOT move from 11 AM- PM. Thank you Blushing Brides for making it easy!

Giving benefit of the doubt that they are short staffed, but didn’t receive finalized contact until 6:51 pm the night before my wedding, although was told I had received 4 days prior (reviewed emails and this was not accurate). When I reviewed final contract (on next business day- aka my wedding day) I had questions about a charge, but since it was day of - no changes could be made. Poor handling of the situation all around that could have been easily avoided through more organized and timely actions, since all details impacting the final contract had been shared with Meghan 2 weeks prior to wedding day.

In terms of the management and planning beforehand, at first I was very impressed with the communication and organization of Blushing Brides. Meghan, Laura and their team were very responsive and communicative about the hair/make up trial as well as getting organized for the wedding day. However, within the month before my wedding I grew frustrated with the lack of communication regarding my final contract, schedule for the day and balance due. Granted, I understand life happens and members of Blushing Brides had completely legitimate reasons for being unresponsive at this time, but I don't think the back up plan was thought through. After many emails and phone calls with limited response and incorrect updates to my contract everything wasn't finalized until the day before my wedding which was stress I didn't need.

were both really wonderful working with the family. Carrie was especially sweet to my stepdaughter, a young adult with special needs - she helped her choose a hairstyle she loved, encouraged her chattiness, and even ended up helping her into her dress. Both artists were responsive to all of our wishes, and gave us coordinated but individualized looks that we loved.

My mother and both of my mother-in-laws were also extremely happy with how their simple makeup turned out. I would absolutely recommend Blushing Brides because they made the entire planning process really stress free. Most importantly, I can't say enough nice things about Nikki and would 100% recommend her as an artist. She has such a sweet and relaxed personality which was just an added bonus on top of her skills as an artist and helped keep the wedding day very stress free. She is patient and warm, and it really felt like they were all so happy to be a part of my special day; there was such a personal side of each interaction that also helped me to remember to take some joy in the planning process. All servicing and pricing was clear, including gratuity, and I did not have to think about anything on my wedding day except me and my bridal party getting ready with the help of an excellent team! The pricing is very fair, especially for how quality of a service I received! Courtney was amazing. During my hair/makeup trial she listened to my thoughts and created a look that was exactly what I wanted, which was great because I wasn’t 100% sure what I wanted when I was describing it to her! On my wedding day, I wanted a small change and she talked me through this and it went so well. I felt extremely comfortable with everything and felt beautiful and supported! My bridal party looked amazing, thanks to both Courtney and the other hair artist on the team! Everyone was extremely happy with the service, especially myself. uted, stock emails that had way too much information that wasted my time (just get an FAQ page). So I go to the trial ($200) and I’m disappointed with both hair and make-up, but what can I do, I’ve already signed the contract and given them $500 at this point. They don’t allow money to be exchanged at the date of the event so we even had to tip the artist 3 weeks ahead of time. On the wedding day I explained to the bridesmaids that their hair/makeup was pre-paid, but some either didn’t hear/forgot and handed the artist money - and she took it! She knew she was already paid, she knew she already had a tip. My mom had to ask for the money back. Then at the end my mom (who got her hair curled at her private salon) asked if the artist could use a few bobby pins to clip her hair back (4 bobby pins to be exact). She said it would be an extra fee. My mom agreed and handed her $60 for the additional service. The artist took the money. My moms hair fell out 20 minutes after the artist left. AND THEN I get an email confirmation that the company charged the credit card on file an additional $90 for my moms hair (my mom has a short bob, and again… 4 bobby pins used…. Fell out 20 minutes later). I’m just so disappointed. The artist herself was OK…friendly, and listened to what I wanted. I liked how I looked, although she left without placing my hairpiece and my hair fell out before the wedding was over. The disappointment mostly comes from how shady they are with money! There were several other annoyances along the way that all add up to just a terrible experience.

I was nervous about them from day one because I felt rushed to make a decision, they seemed excited for me to book with them but once I started asking specific questions about locations, services, prices, the response I got was "If you don't book in the next few days we will not save your spot and may not have an artist to work with you", so I panicked and booked it. The communication was terrible, at times they would respond to emails within minutes, other times it was days or repeatedly emailing them before I got a response. I had many discussions with them about how long services take and my concern about 1 artist not being able to get everything done in time based on their time estimates, they reassured me everything would be fine and made me a schedule to show me how it would all work. I then received an email from them asking me to fill in the schedule and its completely different and they requested to start even earlier to get everything done. I told them we can't start earlier and I was told this would all work out fine, they said "oops, it will be fine, here's your schedule to fill out." I was beyond stressed about there not being enough time for everyone to get done that we even made a plan for who would forfeit makeup if that happened. The next issue was payment. They never reached out to me about payment so I emailed them asking if it was due that day, they said yes it was and they would charge my card that day.. A week goes by and there's no charge, I email them multiple times and nobody emails back or charges my card. Finally one week before my wedding I get a call from someone else in the company who noticed my unanswered emails and finally charged my card. The day of was fine, like I sad, Lauren was amazing and I did truly love my wedding makeup. The biggest issue actually came after my wedding. I got home from my honeymoon to ANOTHER charge from them on my credit card. I reached out to them to ask why and they said they were having a "glitch" with their system and I got charged by accident and they would take care of it and not to dispute the charge with my credit card company. They gave me a PARTIAL refund so I reached out again, they asked me for a screenshot of my credit card (????) which I refused to give, and then told me they cannot give a partial refund for the rest of the money so they wanted to charge me again for something I did not receive, and then refund the total amount. I refused this option and disputed the claim with my credit card company. I then received an email from Grace the owner threatening me with legal action for not paying for a service. To recap, I paid for my services IN FULL a week prior to my wedding, they charged me for SOMEONE ELSE'S services after the fact, and then threatened me. I finally got the money back through the credit card company and never heard from them again but honestly, this company cannot even keep their clients' credit card information safe, DO NOT book with them.

Most of all, my primary artist, Nikki, was incredible. She possessed true talent in her makeup and hair artistry. My supporting artist, Nicole, was also extremely talented in both hair and makeup. Both ladies were enthusiastic, professional, and took their time to cater to the unique wishes of each member of my bridal party. Everyone ended up looking beautiful and were very pleased with their final appearance! Nikki and Nicole also provided some excellent in-the-moment feedback about last minute decisions (e.g. earrings and hairpieces). Lastly, the two artists did an excellent job sticking to the schedule while also remaining relaxed. Overall, I highly recommend Blushing Brides!

o the wedding. I live in Ireland, so their was lots of coordinating during my trips back to the States. However, everything went smoothly and they were so accommodating. I absolutely loved my trial with my makeup and hair artist, Courtney. I don't wear much makeup so I wanted a very natural look - Courtney did an amazing job! I wanted to use baby's-breath in my hair. Courtney once again did a great job with adding this to my up-do. Courtney was great at listening to what I wanted on my wedding day. On the wedding day, Courtney and Amy arrived to "beautify" myself and 7 bridesmaids. They were so friendly and kept ahead of schedule for the hair and makeup lineup. A few of the girls wanted some changes with hair/makeup, so they were great to fix or re-do for the girls. A few months later, I met Courtney again at my sister-in-laws wedding, where she did the girls makeup. Once again, she did a fantastic job and really listened to what style and look each girl was hoping for. I'd highly recommend Blushing Brides. They were so easy to work with and very accommodating. Thank for everything!!

you have a particular budget for your hair/makeup needs, but to me they were worth every penny! Mia was my principal designer, and she came along with Amy and Mackenzie on the wedding day. This team was able to keep us on time and completed hair and makeup for ELEVEN women, while also maintaining a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Mia was AMAZING- I thought my hair and makeup looked even better than on the trial day!

I eventually decided to try hair extensions and Lauren was right there via text to help me choose the right ones and came back to me for a second trial to make sure that I liked them. We had an enormous bridal party (12 and 2 mothers), but come day of Lauren and Nikki handled the chaos like champs. Not only did they travel to New Hampshire for our services but also switched locations midway to do makeup at our venue because they didn't allow hair to be done at Searles Castle (Hair was done at the hotel). They were punctual and everyone was completed earlier than expected, even though it took me an hour to get all the girls on the bus to switch locations! Everyone looked beautiful and was more than pleased with their look. Lauren even provided touch ups to my hair after makeup to keep me looking fresh. Blushing Brides made my special day beautiful and stress free. I highly recommend!!!!!

As for me, I've had professional makeup and hair done several times in the past and was not overly impressed. I'm very picky with my makeup. I wanted to get a natural look that was beautiful in real life as well as in the pictures. Grace did this beautifully. I now love airbrushed makeup!! Both my hair and makeup stayed intact the whole day and I did not need any touch ups. It is important to note that it was windy and rainy the day of the wedding and we spent an hour outside doing pictures. I also spent the whole night dancing. My hair is very sleek and doesn't hold curl well, but it stayed in place all night!! I was very happy with Blushing Brides. I highly recommend.

as worried it was the wrong choice because it wasn't what everyone else was doing... She was so wonderful and helped me realize I need to do what I want to do! She was so right. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and its just how I had always imagined. She has outstanding hair and makeup skills! But more than that she's a wonderful person and she is who I needed with me that day. I knew I could relax in her care and let her work her magic. At least five people at the end of my wedding 10:45PM (keep in mind she did my hair/makeup at 9:30AM) told me 'I cant believe your hair and makeup has not wilted! You still look amazing!'. Grace takes her team seriously and their talent is just as impressive. We had one of her designers Nicole A. with us and she did the majority of my bridal party. Nicole was so cool, funny and down to earth. Every woman who sat in her chair threw something different at her "I want a smokey look", "I want vintage side swept hair", or "Can you do a cat eye?". She hit every one of them out of the park! To top it off Nicole saved the day when one of the buttons on my dress was falling off and needed to be sewn back on. Nicole actually had an emergency sewing kit. This was clearly not her first time with a bridal party. We were so grateful for both Grace and Nicole! Lastly, if I can make one more recommendation it would be to get a manicure and pedicure! One of the team designers named Elizabeth did mine on the day of my wedding and it was a great way to relax and pamper yourself. Elizabeth was so cool too! I found out she used to do special effects makeup for Universal Studios. Honestly I cant say enough wonderful things about all these ladies. Everyone had a great time! We all felt like friends and were laughing and having a great time. We had breakfast, drank mimosas and got beautiful together all morning! It was an absolute fabulous day but only made possible by Blushing Brides. DONT BOTHER WITH OTHER VENDORS THIS IS IT!

Out of my entire wedding planning process (which was very stressful at times), they made this the easiest! I would highly recommend them to any bride in need of a hair/makeup specialist.

After a false start during a trial run (with a team member with whom I didn’t have excellent chemistry, for whatever reason), they helped me set up a new trial with another team member, Mia, who is totally phenomenal and who I adored right away. The office was extremely responsive and helpful in planning out the logistics of the services ahead of time, and I especially appreciated the fact that the entire team (and Mia in particular) really worked to make sure that my look was what I wanted, even when I had a bit of trouble articulating what I had in mind. The end results were absolutely fantastic – I really felt that I looked like me, only much, much better -- and I received countless compliments on my hair and makeup, both of which stayed firmly in place throughout the night. I highly recommend BB, particularly Mia!

Everyone looked and felt beautiful- one of my bridesmaids was nervous about getting hair and makeup done for the first time, and she ended up very happy with her experience and look! I also enjoyed the products that were used, and Courtney took my preferences into account- on my wedding day I was excited to see a lineup of all of my favorites! The team arrived on time, finished ahead of schedule for 12 people (often times finishing the services early!) and never for one second caused me any stress on my wedding day. I would 100% recommend the hair and makeup artists!!! The part where I experienced stress was working with the BB administration. While I give them credit for always being professional, friendly, and extremely prompt in their responses, I do think they need to work on their handling of the details. I found mistakes like incorrect services, math not adding up, and fees wrongly added during each contract review. I have an email chain of 75 emails back and forth with them (my caterer did not email me as much!). From my point of view, they tend to over communicate with long templated emails, but did not always take the time to simply review the information before sending to me. It caused me a bit of frustration about 2 weeks before my wedding. If you are a bride working with them, I'd say this: you are in great hands with the actual hair and makeup team, but you may need to budget more time to review your contract, and watch out for those fees!!

p to make us look like our best selves. Her make up job was pure art and very natural looking. She then created four very lovely and different hair styles for us. We loved our looks and felt gorgeous. Our photographer loved Gianna's work and was moreover incredibly impressed that she was way above schedule. Gianna was done two hours earlier than scheduled which gave us extra time for photos--which was crucial on a rainy day. Our photographer said that in 20 years of photographing weddings, she had never had a makeup and hair artist finish early, let alone so early. The rest of the team at Blushing Brides was incredibly responsive and a joy to work with. Additionally, when Gianna's location moved before our trial, they arranged for her to come to my place free of charge. The whole group was just very professional and efficient. I am so glad that I choose them. I feel so happy with the results and also that it was not at all stressful--instead Gianna made my wedding day smoother and less stressful. There is nothing I could have asked for more!

dding. WHOOPS. In comes Blushing Brides. From my first inquiry they made everything so easy for me, and instantly relieved any panicked feelings I had. I was paired with MacKenzie who was willing to travel to my semi destination wedding. I could not say enough things about her. After our first trial, which was absolutely perfect, I-being the semi bridezilla - changed just about everything I could for our wedding day. From adding extensions, to increasing the braid size, Mackenzie took it all in stride. She worked perfectly with all my girls, and we looked STUNNING if I do say so myself. MacKenzie had the experience, and the personality to fit in perfectly with my group, and we had a blast getting ready.
