ugh things I wouldn't have even thought of, she sent me a thorough proposal. We narrowed things down to a price point I was comfortable with and when we were in town for other wedding planning items, we met at her office. She spent over an hour with us showing us different setups we could do on the tables, different types of flowers, etc. It was incredible customer service. Most of all, the flowers on my wedding day were absolutely stunning. I got so many compliments on the bouquets and the florals all around the church and the reception. Many people told us they were the most beautiful wedding flowers they'd ever seen. Leslie worked with me through rescheduling my wedding during the pandemic and never missed a beat. I can't recommend Branch Design Studio enough. They're simply the best!

comparing prices to other florists was because she wanted to have a conversation about my likes/dislikes/vision for the wedding. This was early on, like a year in advance almost, because I was trying to book vendors ASAP since October is high season in the Charleston area. I had absolutely NO idea what I was doing. I probably messaged around 6 florists, and most responded with an email saying to fill out an interest sheet with likes/dislikes and send it back and they'll go from there. Leslie didn't do that. We spoke on the phone, and right away she was extremely helpful and accommodating.
Leading up to wedding day, we made the necessary changes. She was very detail-oriented and her follow through was perfect. I had them drop certain things off in various places the day-of, and everything went as planned and was very smooth. The flowers were beautiful. I was in awe at how amazing they looked with the bridesmaids' colors. It was exactly what I wanted. I cannot rave enough about Branch Design Studio. If you're getting married, I highly recommend working with Leslie. You will not regret it!!!

I wanted to incorporate some succulents into our arrangements since my mom loves succulents and has a large greenhouse full of them (my "something borrowed"). I was surprised to find out that Branch was open to using my mom's plants in the arrangements. They were so accommodating in every aspect of our wedding weekend. Their staff helped bring in all the plants from my mom's trunk and we were able to work directly with them on the design in the warehouse. Not to mention, they let me bring my golden retriever into their warehouse and the girls helped entertain her while we sat down with Leslie. In addition, they let us use some of our wedding arrangements the night before for the rehearsal dinner - and they personally delivered them at no extra charge.

I rated Branch with 4 stars instead of 5 simply because they went way over my budget for florals. They asked me at my meeting for my budget, then the quote was almost double that amount... I ended up purchasing and using my own votive candles and lanterns because the quoted price to rent them was more than it cost for me to purchase them myself! I would recommend shopping sales at West Elm or Pier 1 for votives (it saved me so much money and now I can keep them for myself or other friends getting married to use).
Overall Branch Design Studio was amazing, my flowers were stunning, and I couldn't imagine using anyone else. Just be cautious that it can easily get expensive, but is definitely worth it.

We had a lot of back and forth (in a good way) to create the perfect look and feel for my wedding and no matter how many questions I asked or revisions I wanted she was beyond pleasant and friendly. I went for a fairly neutral pallet (whites, greens and greys) which is definitely her specialty and her passion. She has a way of making a neutral pallet feel multi-dimensional and not monochromatic with subtle pops of texture and shape.
Beyond her floral brilliance she has an incredible array of glassware (colors, eras, shapes, and sizes). We used mercury glass throughout (which for the record she has two colors of) as well as some of her laterns, candles, and the crowning glory was the beach wood arbor that she and her husband built. It's naturally beautiful and we just added spanish moss to enhance the already beautiful structure. The variety of options is almost overwhelming but she has such a vision that it all comes together in perfect harmony.

Branch is a family owned business! We are sisters - Leslie (on the left) and Sarah (on the right) - and we love that the focus of our family business is family. What day is more of a celebration of family than your wedding day?!
Leslie is the creative mastermind. Sarah assists behind the scenes. This picture is us at Sarah's wedding in 2011, which was the moment we realized we wanted to embark on floral event design together.
