Brian came highly recommended by both our photographer and a coworker. If you're looking for a professional to help you plan the biggest party you'll ever throw, then look no further. We had two separate planning meetings with Brian. The first was mainly an opportunity for us to get to know each other and finalize whether or not to hire him. We were immediatelly impressed with his preparation and experience with past events. Brian is not simply there to tell people it's time to eat and then press play on an iPod, rather, he is an MC who helps add valuable and meaningful context to your big day. To do this, Brian will collect lots of data from you. Plan on spending a few hours entering data in his portal where you'll provide information about your day, select songs for your first dance and the dance floor, and provide the details needed to craft your love story. Right before the first dance, Brian sat us down in front of the DJ booth and told the details of our love story for about five minutes. It's a fun way to tell the story to everyone, and it makes the first dance moment feel more special with that context in mind. Brian had lots of ideas for things we could do to add fun and entertaining moments to the evening, and nothing we did felt like we were simply checking a box. Once the dance floor opened, Brian did a great job of keeping everything rocking for over three hours of open dance. The dance floor was crowded all night, and Brian hit pretty much all of the songs we requested throughout the night. To wrap things up, Brian got everyone to circle the dance floor and we went around and gave everyone one last hug before we wrapped it up. Again, it was another thoughtful idea that Brian brought to the table. You can count on Brian making your experience less stressful and more enjoyable, so for us it was well worth the investment.

Brian was amazing. He helped create many awesome memories. From the start, he was organized and prepared to do anything we asked. He meets with you several times before your big day to learn your love story and get to know you as a couple. He made the wedding day super easy. Playing plenty of great music was just a start. He provided great direction as our master of ceremonies, helped make an awesome light saber battle for our first dance, and guided my guests throughout the night so everybody knew what was going on. I could ask for more from a DJ/ master of ceremonies. He was excellent.

Brian is the one and done option for a wedding MC. He communicated with us periodically several months out and followed up with us to make sure we were meeting deadlines for information needed about our wedding. When it was showtime, Brian provided seamless flow to the party. He was well spoken and added life to the party that wouldn't been offered with your average DJ. The Grand Entrance was a memorable start to the evening, as each of our wedding party had a personalized entrance. Brian kept everything on schedule and knew what to do with extra time we had during the party. The love story added a special touch to our wedding by providing our guests with details about us that they may not have known before. There were always people on the dance floor and we received several comments from guests about it being the most fun they had at a wedding. Thanks Brian!

Brian did a fantastic job for our wedding! We heard through the grapevine about his talents and we were willing to pay for travel (which was also super reasonable) in order to have him for our night in Kentucky! He allowed us to completely customize our playlists with a more country cocktail hour, oldies dinner hour, and then more modern and dancing songs for the reception, but he was also willing to help us with and offered different general genre option playlists. He allowed us to change our last dance song the day before the wedding as it was released that day and was more than happy to work with us on any last minute changes. He is very detailed oriented when it came to relaying our love story and bridal party intros which shows how much he cares about his couples. He even mixed my daddy daughter dance by scratch and it was such a crowd pleasure! He made sure our outdoor ceremony and cocktail music was going to work and came during our rehearsal the night before to check out the venue. Overall, Brian was absolutely fantastic to work with and it was such a pleasure to have him there to help us celebrate our special day. 100% recommend, he's worth every penny!

Brian did it all and was amazing! I never realized all the behind the scenes work involved to make the day special, and Brian nailed it. He is very personable, and detail oriented. He managed the music and mics for the outside wedding ceremony, had amazing up lighting for inside the venue, prepared my daughters and son in laws love story that was well written and shared along with the bridal party intros (so many of the guests really enjoyed this part), took time to mash up songs for the father/daughter song and of course kept the dance floor full! Thank you for traveling and highly recommend!!

Brian was absolutely amazing from the day we found him up until the day of the wedding (which was only 2 weeks!) Even with being such short notice he jumped right in the planning process and made sure everything was perfect. He is an excellent communicator. We especially loved that during the ceremony he had mics so everyone could hear, And our absolute favorite was his love story. He put so much effort and personalization into his work and it truly shows. We got so many compliments! He also was always checking on the bridal party asking them If they needed anything. He truly goes above and beyond!

Brian did our wedding in late September and I don't think I can say enough good things about him. When we first started looking for a DJ, his name kept coming up in our searches and we had heard great things about him from the other vendors that we had already booked. We decided to meet with him and immediately knew that he would be our DJ. His services are definitely an investment, but truly worth every penny. You get so much value and experience by booking him. He provides you with online forms which makes selecting/inputting your songs very easy. He is very knowledgeable and is open to any suggestions you have and you can tell he truly wants to create something that you're happy with. He also tells your love story at the reception which is something completely unique that I had never seen before. He did it right before our first dance and it made such a huge difference in creating a really special moment. He kept the crowd engaged through all the speeches and first dances. In addition to everything else, he truly is an amazing DJ! He played songs that kept people on the dance floor and did really good live mixing which created a very fun party atmosphere. He even brought the bridal party drinks to the head table which they all appreciated so much! All in all, I would recommend him to anyone! He does a great job of keeping your event on schedule, keeps the crowd engaged, and creates a very fun dance floor environment.

Brian was the DJ for our recent wedding reception and was AMAZING! Our dance floor was packed the whole night and I struggled to find time to run to the bar without missing another great song. In addition to be great during the reception, Brian was also fantastic to work with leading up to the big day. He was extremely responsive, truly listened to our wants for the day, and went above and beyond to help us when needed. We had to move our wedding due to COVID-19 and Brian was extremely accommodating with moving to the new date. I would highly recommend him for any event in your future!

Brian did an amazing job for my daughters wedding. His attention to detail is just wonderful. He even was there to help during the rehearsal. The Wedding Story is by far the best part, in my opinion. Brian did a great job of getting to know my husband and I. We picked Brian to be the DJ/MC for our big day because I have previously worked with Brian. I was a bridesmaids in a wedding about 10 years ago where he made everything run smoothly! Then, when I was still in high school we had him DJ for a few dances. Each experience was better than before! It was a no brainer to ask him to be our DJ/MC for our wedding. My favorite part of his service, the Love Story - it shared everything from the beginning to the end and everything in between. Brian is professional and an absolute dream to work with— he goes above and beyond in every way. He asks all of the right questions and starts a planning site for you to easily create your playlist, grand entrance, special dance songs, etc. He also meets with couples beforehand to come up with a timeline and make sure the night flows perfectly. I had surprised my groom with a first dance song that I recorded, and Brian helped me keep it a secret and executed it flawlessly. He also did a blurb and totally customized the grand entrance, our love story, the toasts, and basically every other piece of the reception. He’s a must-have vendor! Can’t stress that enough. We are on our honeymoon and reflecting together on how wonderful the night was... decided to write his review as we are sipping coffee and listening to the ocean.... he is amazing! Thanks, Brian!

We hired Brian for our daughter’s wedding in September, and he was amazing! From the beginning of the evening to the very end, he was a true Master of Ceremony. His wedding party introduction, bride and groom’s story, happy hour music - everything was perfect! We have been to three weddings in the past month. After seeing the other DJs, I am so glad we chose Brian to be part of our celebration. He is a true professional and takes great pride in his work and it shows. I would definitely hire him again!

Brian is so much more than a DJ/MC and we couldn’t recommend him more. When beginning our wedding planning process, we were dreading the thought of hiring a DJ because many of the DJs we’ve had experience with in the past have been what we call “hype men” and it just wasn’t our vibe. When we met Brian, he alleviated all of our fears relating to that and he showed us that he had a lot of experience and so much knowledge and was very passionate about his work. He was very professional while also being personable and easy to communicate with. He was always easy to get ahold of and very prompt in answering any E-mails or messages we sent him. He answered all of our questions and alleviated any of our fears relating to our ceremony and reception. He allowed us to give him lists of all of our must-play songs (which he played all of them) and we trusted him to fill in all of the rest (which he did amazingly and our dance floor had people on it all night)! Brian helped to lay out our entire timeline for our ceremony and reception and was a major help in ensuring the day went smoothly. Our ceremony was outdoors and he placed speakers to where they weren’t even noticeable that allowed our guests to hear our ceremony and vows very clearly. After our ceremony, he immediately had the music going for cocktail hour without missing any time. During our reception, Brian was an amazing MC where he told our guests of the events that would be happening, dismissed them by table for dinner and made sure nobody missed out on any aspects of the night. Before our first dance, he read out a love story that he curated for us and everybody loved hearing how we came to be and funny stories in our relationship. Honestly, I don’t know what we would have done without Brian and his help! Both my (now) husband and I haven’t been to a lot of weddings and neither of us had experience with planning such a big event. Brian was an immense help in the months leading up to the wedding, with the planning, the rehearsal and the big day itself. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ/MC for our important day!

Brian was absolutely amazing! We could not have asked for a better DJ. He is very professional and fun to work with. The planning process was easy, smooth, and by far the best planning process we have ever gone through. Brian made the planning fun! We met with him several times and worked out a timeline for the day-of and our songs we wanted played. He was very helpful when it came to questions and picked songs based on our liking. He was the master of the ceremony and the reception. Every one of our guests was able to hear every word that was said during our vows and there were no worries of not hearing anything. Everything was loud and clear! Brian was the cordinator of the night by telling everyone what was going on and how everything would go down. He does a unique bit called the love story. The bride writes her story and the groom writes his love story and Brian reads them out loud at the wedding. It's very fun and outright hilarious at times. Our grand entrence was perfect and Brian introduced everybody in the party with the music of their choice. The music flowed perfectly throughout the night and Brian was the life of the party! We can't thank him enough for being so wonderful and making our night absolutely amazing!

Our experience with Brian was nothing short of exceptional. He was extremely professional, personable, and fun to work with. He is extremely organized and detail oriented. He communicated professionally and timely throughout the entire process. It was great to meet one-on-one with him a couple times before our wedding to go over the order of events and important details. Leading up to our wedding we had no doubts that he would do an amazing job. His communication skills are on point and he followed up with us days before when we realized we forgot to submit last minute details. He made everything come together. He has a genuine interest to make sure that things run smoothly. Not only did he play exactly what we asked him to play and followed a strict do not play list, he was an incredible Master of Ceremonies. My best friend who gave a speech coordinated with him just a few hours before about syncing about 7 songs into her speech with cues, and he killed it. I had no prior knowledge of this, and it speaks to how accomodating he is and how he can make anything happen! To be clear, Brian Harris went above and beyond in all aspects. We wish him all the best and hope you make the right decision when picking a DJ, because is Brian is the best! Don't waste your time with anyone else.

Could not have asked for a better person and DJ. In a wedding the one thing you absolutely cannot skimp on is a DJ. This person will make or break your one day. Brian was perfect in everything he did. Controlled the in tire flow of the wedding to make it flawless. The flexibility and control he gives you to select your personal music is amazing. His timing is amazing. Very punctual. 100% hands down the best money spent. Works with you through the whole process from start to finish. One on one sessions to make everything unique to your wedding. This is his career not one or two times a year for friends gig. So you can definitely tell how professional he is. At the end of the day I can’t say enough great things about the job Brian did.

Before my wedding, I didn’t think I needed a DJ (I had planned to make a playlist myself)... But once the planning process began I became overwhelmed about who would help make transitions, who would time my music perfectly for me, who could make a mix for a mother/son dance for us, etc. I didn’t think a DJ could do all of that and more- but Brian did, and he exceeded all of our expectations. Not only was he a DJ, but he was basically a day of coordinator, and a really fun/involved wedding guest. Brian is very professional and well spoken. He is on top of things, quick to respond, and extremely invested in his bride and groom. Our guests were complimenting him the entire night! He had so many great ideas too, like suggesting that our guests could come up and kiss in front of our table and we’d have to kiss the same way they kissed (a fun spin on tapping the glass for a kiss). But our favorite part hands down was the love story Brian told about my husband and I! It was incredible and had lots of people in happy tears. Brian was an unbelievable DJ! He was worth every penny, and I truly cannot day enough good things.

When we were looking for DJs I made a post on Facebook for recommendations. A friend had suggested Brian. I got on his website to check him out and I knew right away he was going to be our DJ. I knew without meeting him he was professional and organized. After our first meeting with Brian, me and my husband said it was a no brainer. He was so helpful during the wedding planning and helped put everything together. He has an amazingly organized website for you to keep everything together. He was always checking up on us and helping anyway he could. Our favorite part and one of the main reasons we chose Brian was because of the love story he puts together. We loved the fact that we had never seen it done at any other wedding and it made our wedding feel so much more personal and intimate. We can not say enough good things about Brian and would choose him again and again, no question. I honestly have no idea what we would have done without him!

Brian did an incredible job every step of the way. He was very helpful and informative while planning. He was in constant contact with us during the entire planning phase, from the time we hired him until even shortly after the wedding. During the rehearsal he helped everyone present to ensure the wedding ran smoothly. During the wedding his music set the tone perfectly. It sounded great. I was impressed how much dancing he elicited during the reception. I loved the way he told our love story. He was the best DJ I've ever had and worth every penny.

Brian is so much more than a DJ, he is THE Master of Ceremonies. Brian is an amazing guy to work with and he truly takes the time to get to you know. This makes everything he does during the reception so much more special. The Love Story was the best way for our family members to actually hear everything about us and it was one of the most touching moments of the night. Brian does other fun games and events to keep the party alive and moving. There is NEVER a dull moment with him. In terms of music, Brian let's you pick all the music you would like to play, but is there to made any suggestions if necessary. If the crowd is not feeling a song, he fades it into the next and keeps people on the dance floor THE ENTIRE TIME!!! Brian is a blast to work with and he truly made our day so incredible.

We can't thank Brian enough for the amazing job he did for our wedding! He definitely went above and beyond for us, and we got a ton of comments from people saying how much they enjoyed the music and the Love Story. The Love Story was definitely a highlight for us; Brian did a phenomenal job pulling our versions of the story together. My friends and I were also laughing two days after the wedding about how much our feet STILL hurt from dancing. So a huge thank you to Brian for making it a truly special event. We would chose Brian again in a heartbeat.

Brian was an amazing asset that allowed our wedding to be both smooth and exciting! Some of the best things he contributed were his in depth planning (beyond music), his unique ideas, and the energy he was able to bring out in the crowd. He truly made sure that every aspect of the reception had been thought about, almost to the point of being a planner. Brian Harris is truly the best DJ/MC in Dayton Ohio. Brian is truly special as takes on the responsibility for your big evening so you don't have to worry! He gets all the information he needs from you prior to the big day and it all unfolds in such a beautiful way at the reception from the music to his love story. Brian's love story is an awesome, unique, and beautiful addition to the reception. You have to hire him to find out more ;). His grand entrance is great as he introduces all the members of the wedding party with a little biography to the music of your choice. He isn't a simple DJ that makes a few announcements and pushes play at your reception. He's an expert at what he does and he'll make your evening extra special. You will laugh, cry, and feel the love when you put your trust into his hands!

Here is my experience with Mr. Harris: (The wedding) Brian took it upon himself to omit the penny toss for our centerpieces. He also decided to omit a goodbye circle and exit dance. These were both agreed upon that they would be done in our pre wedding meetings. He is spinning words to justify his actions but the bottom line is that he also approached the bride and groom and ended our wedding 30 minutes early. Be prepared to make your entire playlist from cocktail hour, dinner thru the reception. YOU will pick every song and he will play them like an ipad. (The follow up call) Obviously I am appalled at the above and I wanted a follow up phone call to discuss. Our phone call could have been 10 minutes. I expected Brian to be a professional and say 3 things. I'm sorry. I should not have omitted things that we had agreed upon nor should I have approached you to end the wedding early. How can I make this right? Instead Mr. Harris chose to handle the call in the following manner: He spoke for 35 minutes about why these complaints of mine are petty, small and irrelevant. He discussed how he has proof via pictures that I was dancing and happy. Then he went on for awhile that a good bye circle and exit dance should not matter to me. In a nutshell, he had total disregard to what we had wanted for our wedding. I am standing firm on my 1 star rating. The way he handled our follow up call is inappropriate and unprofessional. I don't think my concerns are small and having a goodbye circle and song was very important to me. Ultimately Brian does what Brian wants to do. Not what the bride and groom want. He makes no attempt to make a wrong right. Overall, I am unimpressed and disappointed with his service.

The main thing my husband and I wanted for our wedding day was people to HAVE FUN so we wanted to be sure to get a great DJ. We could not have asked for more from Brian and would recommend him to anyone! He exceeded any expectations we had. Brian did our ceremony, our reception, and our up lighting – so he did it all for us and it all turned out perfect. After our first meeting with him, I knew we found the right person! He was so professional, asked a lot of questions about what we were looking for, but not only asked us questions, he gave us a TON of ideas that we never would have thought about. He really gets to know his couples in order to make their day super personalized for them. He is very detailed – which makes it so the day of goes smooth! One thing that we really liked, and our wedding party appreciated, was he did personalized intros for each of them into the reception. That way our guests knew who they were, and we were able to give our wedding party recognition. Something else that really impressed me was the venue we used was brand new and he had never been there. He took the initiative and time to go to the venue and walk around and get a feel for it prior to our wedding day. He even came to our rehearsal. He went above and beyond to make sure everything turned out perfect for us. On the day of, he kept the reception flowing and on schedule. Everyone at the wedding had so much fun. We would recommend Brian to anyone. Thanks Brian for everything you did to make our day perfect!

Brian was amazing in helping us prepare and personalize our wedding day! He went above and beyond in guiding us at rehearsal, prepping our "must play" list and relaying our love story to our guests in the most fantastic way! He worked closely with our best man and groom's sister to surprise us with a performance during our reception that carried on a tradition in our family that meant the WORLD to us!! On top of that, he helped the groom's mom surprise him with a customized dance for mother-son dance ANDDD mixed a group of songs per the bride's request for my father-daughter dance that made it beyond memorable. I even threw him for a loop and texted him 2 days before the wedding with a change, and he had it back to me in under 2 hours!! I was blown away at the extent of work he put into customizing our day. I would recommend him to any bride!

Brian was one of the first vendors that we met with in the planning of our wedding, from the first meeting we were blown away by his professionalism! He was definitely more expensive that we had thought we wanted but after seeing his online portal for planning, value add things like the “love story”, and his confidence in helping us to make decisions about timeline etc he was totally worth it! The day of went fantastic thanks in large part to Brian. Our Grand Entrance was fantastic with Brian introducing everyone very well, and most importantly the dance floor was hopping! Brian was amazing!! He was available for all our questions and got back to us with complete answers super quickly! He gave us lots of interesting ideas for our reception and the ‘love story’ was awesome. Everyone told us how much they loved the love story! The music kept the party going!! Brian was professional and awesome!! I have two daughters and I already told him I want him for their weddings (when they grow up) too!

As my wife and I started hiring vendors I was easily the most concerned about the DJ. I'm a theatrical sound designer and care deeply about the soundtrack to my life. We also have very eclectic taste in music, but wanted to throw a banging dance party for our friends and family. I made sure that we were going to meet the DJ in person so we could look into their eyes and know their soul. From jump, Brian was helpful, receptive to our ideas, and constructive at every step of the process. He was incredibly organized and uniquely diligent in his efforts to make our day special and, more importantly, stress-free. He had a number of brilliant, out of the box ideas that we could never have come up with on our own (e.g., writing up our unique and hilarious story for our initial intro), and was very open to our own suggestions. Then, there was the night itself. I have had a number of friends come up to me - both at the reception and afterward - to tell me just how much they enjoyed the music, MC, and overall ambiance. He knew what to play and when, ultimately making the dance party a winning success. We also opted to use his LED uplighting, which shifted colors to the beat - which, in my wife's opinion, is pure magic. I can't imagine a more professional, friendly, and fun experience. We could not recommend him more highly. (I do a music podcast, and might have bragged about him thoroughly throughout our episode on wedding reception music.) Thank you, thank you, thank you, Brian, for making our night (and our year! (AND OUR LIFE!)) so much fun and such a success! You are a rock star!

Mother of the Bride here. Brian has been a family friend for years, so there was no question about who we'd be hiring as our DJ. Even so, Brian exceeded all our expectations, and we received compliment after compliment on his work! From the timing of the whole evening to the fun games and the love story he wrote from our couple, we had the best experience with him! I can't recommend Brian more highly than five stars here but if I could, he'd get ten! Worth every penny, and we will definitely hire him again if the occasion arises! :)

Brian was amazing! He was very professional and helped in more ways than you'd expect. He is very organized and makes sure your day goes perfectly! He was our one splurge for our wedding and we had absolutely no regrets in that! Would definitely recommend!

Brian was very helpful in the planning of our wedding. On our wedding day everything went seamlessly. I didn't have to worry about anything!! Everything flowed very well, and our guests kept talking about what a great reception we had! They bragged about how our music had a little bit for everyone, the young, the old and those in between. Everyone loved the Love Story and not once did we have to answer the question "so how did you meet?". Our wedding day was awesome and the memories from that day will last a lifetime!

Brian was awesome to work with! He went above and beyond what we expected out of our DJ. When it came time to pick a DJ for our wedding, we didn't even look to anyone but Brian. I had worked with Brian back in 2009 for my daughter's wedding and I attended a wedding again in 2015 that Brian was the DJ/MC. Brian is extremely professional, organized and easy to work with. His years of experience are very evident when planning your special day. He meets with you personally a couple times throughout the planning process and also attends the rehearsal to ensure everything goes off without a hitch. He uses an online tool that is so easy to use. You can choose your play list and even add a "do not play list". The tool also helps you to plan your ceremony and reception down to every little detail. Our favorite part of his ideas were the Grand Entrance and the Love Story. Both of these personal the reception and make it so much more enjoyable. With the Grand Entrance, you can write about each bridesmaid/groomsmen to share how you know them and why they were chosen to be in your wedding. The Love Story is amazing. He provides the bride and groom with a list of questions that you complete confidentially. He then weaves them into a unique, personal, funny and intimate story to share with your guests on how you met, fell in love etc... Brian also offers any help needed to complete your play list for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception etc... He will ensure the crowd is engaged and having a good time. Brian goes way above and beyond the expectations of a DJ. I had an outdoor wedding in mid December. It was chilly (mid 40's). My feet were freezing after staying outside for the pictures. I told Brian I needed some time to thaw my feet before we would be ready for the grand entrance, as I truly could not feel my toes. Brian went and found a couple buckets, filled them with hot water for me to soak my feet and help "defrost" them ha. I don't know any other DJ that would provide that service!! I highly recommend Brian for your DJ/MC !

If you are looking for a professional DJ that will be raved about years after your wedding, Brian is hands down your guy. We used him for our wedding back in November 2014. To this day, we still have guests tell us what a great job he did. (Usually they are texting us from other weddings where the DJ is subpar.) My husband and I find ourselves comparing every other wedding DJ to Brian. SPOILER ALERT: None of them come close. One of the main things that sets Brian apart from others is the extras he offers. For example, if you don't want to kiss an excessive amount of times throughout the night when glasses clink, he has great solutions. Or if you want to roast your bridal party in a fun way during the grand entrance, he's got you! We "conveniently" neglected to tell our bridal party about that part so it was a fun surprise for them. Have you ever been to a wedding where there long lulls and it seems to be dragging on? This won't happen with Brian as your DJ. Prior to your big day he will work with you to create a timeline. In the event that photos take too long, he is quick to adapt and adjust as needed. Perhaps the best part about having Brian for your DJ will be that he is genuine. It is obvious he takes pride in his work and wants to ensure your wedding day is not only the best it can be, but customized to your personality.

Brian did an amazing job at our wedding! Brian was very responsive to any questions that my husband or I had before the wedding and he was always prepared. The planning meetings were helpful and the planning portal was easy to use and it gave me piece of mind that our wedding day would go very smoothly. Brian was very helpful at the rehearsal when we really did not know what we were doing. The wedding day went off without a hitch because of Brian. He helped us figure out exactly where we should have the ceremony in my mom's yard and he made sure all of the events at the reception happened in a timely manner. Also, he quickly adapted when my little brother came in before he was supposed to during the grand entrance. Everyone loved the love story, including my husband and I. Brian was amazing and my husband and I would recommend him to anyone!

When I think of Brian, a few words come to mind: Sincere, Zealous, Energetic, and Organized. Our experience with Brian and the planning process was nothing but top notch. (If I could give 10 stars, I would.) As a control-freak, I let the wedding process plan itself rather than me stressing over things. Ultimately, I knew that if I was paying for top-notch venders then I should trust them to "work their magic." That was my approach with Brian. I always listened to his professional advice and truthfully - let him have the reigns in planning how everything would go that night involving him. From his fantastic planning portal to follow-up emails to make sure we were on the same page, I appreciated everything. The wedding day was everything I thought of and more. Not only were people just commenting on my decor and dress, but they were raving about our DJ. Some comments, "We need him for our wedding," & "He got the crowd going!!" Even though our timeline was a little off due to speeches (whoops), Brian pulled everything back together and used his organization skills to shift a few things around. If you need a DJ that cares and truly wants the best time for you and your guests, then you can't go wrong with Brian.

Brian was the DJ at our wedding in June 2017. He did an absolutely incredible job! He truly went above and beyond with everything for our wedding. He met with us multiple times during the planning process and checked in with us frequently to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. He is extremely professional and very knowledgeable. We had many guests comment on the "Love Story" that Brian put together for us. It really made the reception more personal. Brian is the absolute best! Would definitely recommend!

Brian was the master of ceremonies for our July 2017 wedding. He was so great to work with and I would highly recommend him! He uses an easy online planning portal so most of the details were finalized a few weeks before the big day. He did an amzing job with our Love Story and everything ran smoothly from start to finish! Brian was an incredible DJ. Rachel and I were completely blown away by his dedicated work to his craft, everything from the planning meetings to the rehearsal the day before to the wedding ceremony/reception itself. Brian had obviously worked/seen/been to a lot more weddings than we had at our venue (the Dayton Art Institute) so he had a couple of great suggestions that made the ceremony run very smoothly (where bridesmaids/groomsmen walk out from, etc.) which was a huge help. Brian also is a great guy who really cares about the bride and groom and wants to make the evening as special as possible. The love story portion of the reception was great and Brian even will snap a few pictures of people dancing, so you get a few bonus shots on top of what the photographer takes as well which is awesome! Brian played an excellent playlist at our reception that really got the dance floor going and you really can't go wrong with Brian Harris Entertainment as your Wedding/Party/Corporate Event DJ!

Brian was BY FAR our favorite vendor. His professionalism and personalization ideas are unmatched. I have a hard time naming him our "DJ" because it truly felt like this title didn't do him justice! He was our only vendor to meet us at our venue to check it out with us, and to show up to our rehearsal practice to work out the kinks! Unheard of! After hearing the feedback from our guests, here are a FEW of the MANY things we loved about Brian, and that really resonated with our guests: Our entire wedding party had personalized introductions/stories/songs for their grand entrance. Our guests really got a sense of why we picked each of our friends to be in our wedding. The father/daughter dance... I don't even know where to begin... he had the brilliant idea to do a voiceover of me talking about sentimental things regarding my dad during the song. There was not a dry eye in the building! We did a newly-weds game, where we raised up the stereotypical items to symbolize who we thought fit the description more -but his questions were unlike anything I've seen! So personalized, and so perfect. Before my husband and I did our first dance, he brought everyone to the dance floor to hear our love-story. He didn't miss a single detail and kept it light-hearted, funny, but still so sentimental. He provided uplighting for our danceroom, set them up himself, and had our venue looking exactly how we envisioned it. Lastly, Brian's attention to detail was absolutely incredible. He worked so well with our entire team of vendors and was so helpful with so many ideas and questions we had. I truly believe our wedding was unlike any other 100% due to him. Our families, my husband and I would recommend Brian in a heartbeat to anyone envisioning a unique, and unforgettable wedding.

Brian was amazing! Beyond professional, takes the time to get to know you, and it really felt like he was a friend a part of our day. He drove an hour to attend our rehearsal to check out the venue and meet some of our other vendors like our officiant and photographer. He offered a lot of fun options to make our wedding unique and stand out from other weddings we've been too. I would definitely recommend Brian Harris to anyone that wants a well-organized and caring DJ/MC. He really wants to get to know the bride and groom so that he can give them and their guests the best experience possible. Brian is a true professional, it was important for us to find a DJ/MC that would provide us with a perfect day with little stress or worry, and he was able to help make our wedding dreams come true. Brian is very professional, organized, and enthusiastic about his work. His organization prior to booking with him was impressive; during the planning process he was very easy to get in touch with when we had questions. This was noteworthy on the week leading up to our wedding- on the morning of our wedding, I was able to get in touch with him to make some last minute changes which he was able to make. In order to ensure cohesiveness between our wishes and his presentation, Brian utilizes an online planning portal which enabled us to convey to him our playlist, special requests, and stories. Brian’s vast library of songs is viewable and interactive making it easy to add and change songs on your list, as well as providing possibilities and suggestions for activities and games during the wedding to help engage your guests. Depending on the ideas that you choose to go with, there is a lot of time and effort to be put forth by the couple, but very worth it! You can add any song you like to your wedding playlist; when we were picking our playlist for the ceremony and reception we had several choices that were not on his list. Brian was quickly able to add good quality music files to meet our requests. Brian is also great working on the fly: our ceremony was outside in the middle of August and on the day of the wedding the weather was looking iffy. Brian was prepared to change plans quickly if needed, though luckily we were able to continue with our outdoor ceremony- despite a little sprinkle. During the cocktail hour and reception, Brian was very organized and kept the guests energized. He took responsibility of keeping us to a scheduled that we had prepared with him at a planning session and we didn’t have to worry about a thing; he really helped keep our minds at ease throughout the entire day! In reality, he kept us relaxed throughout the entire planning process for that matter with his calm and supportive demeanor. Our guests continue to rave about how amazing Brian was: They loved all of his different ideas and how he kept them involved, how he helped keep the dance floor a hit all night! We cannot give a big enough recommendation for what Brian truly deserves. If you put in the time and effort, he will provide you with the wedding (or event) of your dreams!

You will not regret this decision. Brian was the d.j for our friend’s wedding and we thought he did great. Our friend’s were really happy with him as well and we decided to choose him for our wedding but we had no idea just how crucial the decision to book Brian was for making our Special Day, and the months leading up to it, perfect! Brian was great to work with and extremely professional; he made us feel very comfortable and helped relieve a lot of stress. He already has a packet of information set up that lets you customize your event and he transforms it into a perfectly transitioning ceremony and reception (if you book him for both). He gave us ideas for things we were unsure of, but was open to any ideas of our own. He let us pick the music that was right for us. We had multiple meetings with him leading up to the wedding, and in the final one he reviewed the plan he created based on the information we gave him and we could make any last minute changes we wanted. He even customized music for us to match the timing we wanted for walking down the aisle and surprising guests during the reception. Brian came to our wedding rehearsal and helped us through that event with all of his knowledge, that otherwise would have been chaos. He coordinated with our venue and our photographer (would have done other vendors if we hired them) and made sure everything went according to plan. Our wedding couldn’t have been more perfect and Brian was a huge reason why. The music, the transitions, the flow, the mood, the timing, his words, everything was perfect!! Thank you Brian, we will be forever grateful :)

Our daughter and now son-in-law, chose Brian Harris Entertainment from a list of preferred DJ's for the venue where their wedding was to take place. They knew immediately that Brian was going to provide them with the reception that they had envisioned...and boy, did he deliver! I met Brian on the afternoon before the wedding, as he was setting up his equipment. It was very clear that he was familiar with the venue, it wasn't his first rodeo! He had worked out everything with the bridal couple ahead of time, the songs to be played at the cocktail hour, the introduction of the bridal party, the songs played during the reception, the first dance, the father/daughter and mother/son dances, the great games that had the guests involved throughout the evening. As an MC, he captivated the audience and kept the evening flowing at a steady pace. My husband and I were thrilled with the choice that the now newly weds had made! When visiting with our guests that evening, person after person told us how wonderful the entire event was...in particular how much they enjoyed the reception. We owe that to Brian Harris! Brian was very professional and was always looking for ways to make the reception easier on us. His rendition of our love story had everyone in tears. The whole night was full or dancing. Many people said it was the best wedding they'd been to and I know it was because of Brian.

Brian was professional, organized, friendly and, most importantly, kept the party going! My husband and I wanted a party-centered, non-sappy ceremony and reception with some personalized touches and Brian was on board all the way. He came up with helpful suggestions and edited/spliced some special dance songs and my processional and recessional. He was really great in organizing the flow throughout the evening and kept us on track without being intrusive. He keeps up to date with new music and blended a great dinnertime/cocktail hour mix that really impressed me since I had just added a few modern R&B requests and he blended in other genres along with some upbeat jazz standards that worked perfectly. There were no downer/dance-floor-clearing songs, and the slow songs were well-timed and didn't interrupt the flow of the floor and he respected all of our do-not-play/do-not-do items. His speakers are also awesome, great projection without being painful to be near. He did cost more than other DJs we looked at, but to have no complaints from our big day is pretty priceless. Highly recommended if he's in your budget.

Brian was AWESOME! Through the entire process he made sure to tailor our special day to exactly what we wanted. From the very first meeting I was relaxed and comfortable with him. He gave us a huge packet with all sorts of ways to personalize our wedding, from games to the Love Story to the Grand Entrance and specific songs we did/did not want played, and didn't push anything if we told him "no". We started the reception with a band and ended with Brian as our DJ, and he kept the party going the entire time! He was very easy to work with through the entire process and was always available for questions and meetings. I got a lot of my stuff to him very late (like, in the middle of the Rehearsal. That kind of late) and he didn't even miss a beat. YOU WANT TO BOOK BRIAN AS YOUR DJ/MC. He was so professional and did not take over our reception with a lot of talk like some other DJ's I've seen. My mom made some changes in the middle of the reception, and he made sure to come find me to make sure I was OK with it before he continued. I would recommend Brian to anyone, for ANY event.

Brian was one of the first vendors we booked when we began planning our wedding shortly after our engagement. A few months prior we had attended the wedding of a close friend - and had an amazing time thanks to Brian! The night seemed to flow smoothly, the whole crowd had a blast, and the dance floor was packed all night long - exactly what we were looking for! Brian was great to work with during the planning process - he is very professional and very organized, but also fun and personable and you can tell he loves what he does! Planning meetings helped to iron out the kinks, and we knew that once we showed up to the reception, would could put the night in Brian's hands and have a blast - and we did! We received so many compliments on the great job Brian did. Our friends and family, young and old, were on the dance floor all night long. And everyone really enjoyed the Love Story presentation - so unique and beautifully done! I would recommend Brian in a HEARTBEAT - and hope I get to attend more weddings that he DJs/MCs in the future!

Brian Harris came as a recommendation from our photographer (Nick - 808 Studios). Brian was without a doubt the best decision we made that night. He is professional, friendly and knows what he's doing. He keeps a great schedule of events so there is always something going on to keep guests attention. We had SOOOOO many compliments from guests about how awesome he was and how he kept everyone on the dance floor. PLEASE consider him for your wedding, you won't regret it :)

Overall Brian did an excellent job. His brought a lot of unique ideas to our wedding that we used. We loved the love story before our first dance and the voice overs we recorded for our first dance that Brian incorporated into the song. We did have a few hiccups that we have had to do some damage control over. Even though we placed it in the documentation we provided Brian he didn’t announce one of our groomsmen’s partners, and we were saddened that Brian stated he didn’t feel it was important. He also didn’t mention my husband’s Step-Mother who was key to the wedding. Brian did send apology letters to both of these people along with gift certificates to show that it was not us who forgot these two but him. Brian has been very professional about his mistakes and has worked to rectify them.

I would HIGHLY recommend this DJ to anyone! He was the best DJ/MC I have ever seen! He got all of our guests excited to dance, and our dance floor was packed all night long! Great music and very professional!

It wasn't just a "reception" it was a celebration party for the bride and groom! Brian had talked with them and really gotten to know their taste and what they wanted. He carried it off in top form and everyone had a terrific time. A friend, who is a DJ in Texas, sat with me and commented on how good Brian was and that the friend was thoroughly enjoying Brian's game plan for the party. He kept it lively, kept it moving, had all ages dancing! A young person said that he'd never been to a reception where so many "old people" got out and danced! If you want "fun" and ways to avoid some of the traditional things that happen that you don't want (clinking for kisses, for example) then Brian is your DJ! (If you want to clink, he'll do that ... but he did manage to eliminate it for ours!) He really gets to know his bride and groom to provide exactly what they want. We'd hire him again in a minute!

Brian is AWESOME! He totally tailored our reception to make it something special! I can't count the number of compliments we have received on the evenings entertainment. Brian is more than a DJ. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the "Love Story" he wrote and read before our first dance. And we VERY much so appreciated his alternative to the typical glass dinging for a kiss. He took care to refocus the celebration after dinner was served and the party was about to begin. He chose excellent music to accommodate our slightly off-beat tastes that still kept the older generation in attendance happy. (How many weddings have you been to that have played primarily indie-rock and pulled it off beautifully?!?!) We couldn't have asked for a better master of ceremonies! And beyond his MC/DJ duties, he helped us find a day-of wedding coordinator and an officiant for our wedding! I highly recommend Brian!!! His services are worth every penny!
