Briar Rose can cater meals for weddings and often does, but we used them for our dessert. We wanted mixed mini-desserts rather than one large wedding cake. We got a small six-inch cake for us to cut, and then an assortment of mini-cherry pies, ...chocolate cream, coconut cream, and fruit tarts. They were a huge hit and delicious. My only complaint is the owner can be kind of scatter-brained - we went by multiple times, she said she would email us a product list but never did. They never reply to voicemails either. Finally, we just sat down and ordered with her and that worked out fine. If you're doing a big catering event, definitely work with the husband. Otherwise, just sit down one day and work through the details. It's easier that way, and the results are delicious.
