PLEASE NOTE: Rachel warned my mom and I about making any disparaging, false, or slanderous commentary against her, Carla, or their company as they “reserve any and all rights.” I will tell you that this review is 100% factual and honest and the...refore I have no reservations about sharing my experience. I am expecting that they will respond to this review in a way that twists the story or puts the blame on the customer (as they seem to have done with the other negative reviews that are posted).
Though the flowers were indeed beautiful, not only would I not recommend this company, I would advise anyone that is considering using this company not to do so.
First and foremost, the job was incomplete, which is simply unacceptable when you have a once-in-a-lifetime event. After much back and forth, we decided to move forward with $1,600 flower arrangements that lined the aisle. Ultimately, what helped us make the decision to move forward with the extra expense, was that these arrangements would be repurposed after the ceremony and put in front of the band during the reception. This was written in the contract. On the day of the wedding, my mother even REMINDED the team on site about about this, which they acknowledged. They STILL did not do it and we were not given the option of taking these flowers after the event (as we did with the centerpieces). Therefore, as much as Rachel feels and says her team is “experienced” their behavior was negligent. They showed blatant disregard for what was contracted and for what was important to the customer.
Not only was the job incomplete, but Rachel’s efforts to quell our concerns and rectify the situation were poor at best. My mother first reached out in a respectful way to Carla, who we worked with throughout the process. Carla suggested that my mother reach out to Rachel, the owner. My mother left a voicemail for Rachel but ultimately had to follow-up again because Rachel didn’t return her call. When my mom connected with Rachel via email, her initial response was that Carla already briefed her on the situation. It was clear that she had no intention of reaching out to an unsatisfied customer, which is simply customer service 101. Her responses to my mother's email were completely unprofessional and lacked any business sense. She chose to blatantly ignore the fact that we were dissatisfied, showed zero empathy, and did not offer any compensation for her team's failure to do the job as was contractually agreed upon.
In addition to the actual wedding day, the entire process of working with Bride & Blossom was scattered and frustrating for us. While we were working through the invoicing and our final decisions with Carla, my husband and I had to go line by line, compare multiple drafts of the invoice, and do a lot of math to figure out the actual cost. I am thrilled that we did so, as the numbers were incorrect and actually off by thousands of dollars in their favor. I don't know what software they use for invoicing, but when a quantity was updated, it didn’t change the total amount. It was very inefficient and unprofessional.
While they consider their staff to be “experienced”, they clearly lack attention to detail in several ways. Additionally, the customer service that they provide is quite appalling. As an "experienced" team, they should know and care about how crucial these two things are in the wedding industry. It is clear to me (and some others per the reviews) that they do not.
