All in all customer service is awful, the owner doesn't understand who the customer is, or if she does she simply doesn't care, and doesn't seem to think she's in the "customer service industry." Every other person I worked with for my wedding ...was very responsive and friendly. If this review gets a response from the owner it will likely attack things I say, will not be apologetic and will call me things like a "mean girl" or ask "do you feel better now?" If all you care about is having your make up stay on all day and your hair stay in place all day, have your hair and makeup done by Brideheads. If you want to be treated nicely, go somewhere else.
I got married in late September 2016 and contacted Brideheads in late march of 2016. At the beginning the owner was extremely responsive and attentive to questions and concerns. In mid July I emailed to ask about when I would be scheduled for a trial, given my wedding was in September I assumed this was a reasonable question timing wise. Days would go by with no response. On either the Brideheads or Rockabetty website there is a little note that says if you haven't heard from us in 24 hours email us, or something to that affect. I would wait longer than 24 hours, most of the time, but I was a bride getting all of my details ironed out for my wedding and no response from the person in charge of my hair and makeup was nerve wracking. After countless unanswered emails, not even asking concrete dates for a trial, but the approximate time I might have a trial done I eventually got a trial scheduled. This was after booking a appointment with another salon and telling the owner I wanted my deposit back, I understand the concept of a non-refundable deposit... I tried. Trial was good, I was happy with hair and makeup, liked my person.
Day of was fine, nothing too spectacular nothing bad. Everyone in my party, 4 people including me, was getting lashes. Since I was the bride I was obviously last, and they had just enough lash clusters to do one of my eyes, the other eye was a normal strip cut in half. I was told that it wasn't a big deal, and no one would be able to tell. I noticed it, I notice it in my pictures, but at this point the only thing I can do is write a review. Calling the salon owner the day after to talk about it would not have solved anything, as far as I knew no other lash clusters were available. The owner boasts about how they are the best in Madison. I would assume that the best in Madison would come fully prepared to make sure that if four people request lashes they are all going to get the best lashes. Given most of the reviews I have seen online with responses from the owner, she will come on and likely say that there was another stylist scheduled to be with us. There were four of us, one with a pixie cut, one with a bob, one with a half up, and me. Our two stylists arrived at 8, by 10:45, when the third person showed up I was almost done, our stylists told here she could go, I didn't even see her. Just an odd experience.
