I reached out to every artist on this platform to ask to see their work on clients with acne and very few were able to respond. Emily shocked me. When the time came to book makeup and hair, I had no idea where to start and how to assess which team was best. After looking through The Knot, I noticed many makeup artists did not show before and after pictures, but Brides by Blake did. I then found their Instagram page and saw more pictures with before and after looks. This was incredibly helpful to me because it was nice to see how the makeup looked and how the artists could make me look on my wedding day. Then there are so many pretty pictures of up-dos for hair which is something I wanted.
A few months before my wedding I scheduled my makeup trial with Kayela and then my hair trial with Olivia. These two women are so professional, kind, attentive, and patient. They offered suggestions when I wasn’t sure and made it a point to ensure I was happy. I was thrilled with my trials so I knew they would take care of me on the wedding day. I felt so at ease afterwards.
Finally, on the day itself, Kayela and Olivia arrived promptly and made my girls and I absolutely stunning! My girls had photos as examples and some just described how they wanted to look and Kayela and Olivia delivered. These two were absolutely phenomenal and I cannot say enough good things about this team- specifically Emily, Olivia, and Kayela. Thank you so much for being incredible and making me feel like the prettiest girl in the world!
