Bridgewood Event Rentals

for 120 guests and I thought I could pull it off if I worked really hard and was thoughtful. Well, I looked all over Portland for the best, most affordable spot for our needed rentals and am so, so grateful that I discovered Barclay. They let me come in and check out their stock again and again and didn't flinch when I sent a zillion emails, changing all my choices about a month out. The were patient, informative, gave me great advice and sincerely wanted to make my wedding work, beautifully for me in the budget I had. I never felt prodded to spend more than I could and always felt like I was getting an amazing deal - and I did. The compliments about the beauty and elegance of our wedding reception keep rolling in a month later. We love you, Barclay!! Thank you <3

Michael, Evan, and Jacob who did the delivery and pick up for us - EVERYONE was phenomenal. Our consultation with Jen visit to figure out exactly what we needed was INCREDIBLY helpful, the folks were super flexible as our vision and needs changed a few times throughout our planning process, the prices were WAY more reasonable than I had expected, billing was easy, and the delivery and pick up folks were SUPER cool guys who seemed only concerned with being helpful and low-impact on the day-of when we had SO many other things going on. We were able to have all of our event's items not only delivered on time to a remote park location outside of town, but the guys helped unload and move things into the right place before the event and were then willing to pick up all of our items at a different, even more remote campsite location somewhere else in the park, and in the end they totally saved the day. We literally cheered when the pick-up van rolled into our campsite right as we were finished packing up our tents and gear and were finally ready to leave. I am not a fan of event planning in general and was SUPER stressed out in the lead up to our wedding, but really, my wife and I agree that the folks at Barclay were the heroes of the day that really helped make everything come together. I can't imagine how things would have gone if we went with any of the other places that we called. Eesh! Long story short, these folks are the best - go with them. Seriously, don't even bother looking around. You won't regret it. :)

s too. That's what started our business together. What made me hire them was how easy they made it for me to discuss, select and change my quote. Kelsey was outstanding! she understood what I wanted, helped me walk through my options, and answered every question I had. Communication was so easy too. When it came time to finalize the order, deliver it, and set everything up I had no worries at all. Their set up team was polite, worked quickly, asked my input on where they placed everything and changed it without question. They even asked to wash their hands before handling the clean linens for the tables. What great guys! Pick up was equally professional. I am so glad we hired Barclay for everything!

ur wedding looked so exquisite and fancy! It was all due to the amazing quality of Barclay! It wasn't even expensive to add a few touches here and there, and it took our wedding reception up a few notches.

ible all at the same time. The day our stuff was to be delivered there was a horrible traffic accident which messed up traffic for everyone, including the deliverers. We called the shop because it was getting later and it was about to close so the person in charge gave us her personal cell in case we needed anything! If you need rentals in the Portland area call Barclay's!

t up right on time! Everything came that I ordered. Barclays is responible as well- their are some items that you might look at and wonder why its so expensive and other items that are very responibly priced.

So my dad rented a Uhal and went to go pick up everything but when he arrived he was told that he wasn't allowed to stack the chairs (our first headache)so that we would either have to go rent a bigger uhal and pay twice or we would have to pay the delivery charges. Somehow they got it all worked out and we didn't have to rent another truck and it seemed like everything was right on track until we pulled up to our venue, we found that one of our tables was broken and we wouldn't be able to use it, yet we still had to pay for it. After that the day went fantastic and everything was perfect, it wasn't until the Monday after our wedding that the biggest let down occured. My dad went up to our venue to supervise everything being picked up and the workers that were there took about 3 times as long to pack everything up, they were careless with the tables and even more so with the chairs, we were just lucky they didn't break anything so we didn't have to pay any damage fees. Overall this place seems like a fantastic place and the workers that I met personally were great and very helpful, it wasn't until we went to pick everything up and use the rentals that we got the headaches.

ng for (I also told them our colors/theme and what we we needed on the phone)and she said she did not have any of that in house to show me but she could order it. She then told me to CALL HER in 2 weeks. Seriously?! So I called in 2 weeks, she acted like she had no idea what I was talking about but stated "if I said I would order it I am sure I did. I will look for them and call you back." I never received a phone call back and ended up ordering chair covers and sashes on line for half the cost. Do not recommend them. Very unprofessional. I would give 0 stars below if that were an option.

c of the linens I needed, but they set up a couple of tables so that I could see exactly how things would look. After talking with them about my theme and the venue room decor, they suggested that I might want to alternate tables with 2 different colored linens (copper and terra cotta) Their eye for detail and style were invaluable and the reception venue looked amazing!!! The day before the wedding I broke 2 glass rose bowls and needed to replace them, Barclay's had them in stock and it was cheaper than buying them!!! They have so much to choose from and their prices are so very reasonable.I also needed a few other last minute items and they were all in stock and ready to go!!! The reception venue looked great and I could not have done it without Linda, Robyn and Jen's eye for detail and style advice!!!
