My venue came with a cake (as I called it straight outta my momma's wedding cake) so my now husband and I decieded to pay the diffrence between the basic cake and the cake that I wanted. We went and had a brief consult with the owner/baker, not... only did he do an upgrade on our cake, he threw in a gumpaste monogram cake topper! We went from a basic 3 tiered butter cream cake to a 4 tiered, fondant covered, canolli filled cake..probably the highlight of my wedding was finally getting to taste it! At the end of the consult, the owner gave us some canolli's to bring home. He was a very sweet man, who did an amazing job with my cake. I will be using his bakery for all my special cake needing events
