Beyond the usual questions about style and logistics, Carl made sure to learn about who we are as people and as a couple - our interests, inside jokes, personalities, and stories. As a result, Carl was able to capture moments that express our relationship, not simply our wedding. We’re incredibly grateful for that. Additionally, Carl and his team partnered extremely well with our wedding planner (Kayla Bellitt) and photographers (Amy & Jordan Demos), making the best use of our limited time during the wedding and ensuring they captured the most important moments. We cannot recommend Carl more highly!

so many people and the absolutely stunning way in which he captured such special moments of love both in photograph and film. I always kept the idea in the back of my mind that once I met that special person, and we decided to get married, that it would be my hope to have Carl capture our special day. Fast-forwarding to the present, my (now) husband and I decided on something a bit more non-traditional: a small, intimate ceremony on the day of our choosing and then a larger reception a bit later to accommodate more family and friends. Never in my dreams did I believe it would turn out so perfectly! We were wed on August 8th on top of Mt. Lemmon, Arizona with Carl Miller and his crew capturing the entire day beautifully! The teaser photos and film left us longing for more and as we all know, it takes time for editing composition, etc. but it was well worth the wait. There was not a dry eye in the entire venue and our guests were absolutely thrilled to have been shared the intimacy of our wedding day, our family's well wishes and our vows in a way they might not have been able to in a traditional setting. It was beyond special and we continue to hear praise months later - our families still say they watch it regularly! The wedding film that Carl S. Miller created for us is something we will cherish for our lifetime and one of the best investments we have made as a couple. We can't thank Carl enough!

Because of that, he has a real knack for truly capturing you and your husband/wife's true selves on video on the most important day of your life. Video was something that I was very particular about - I wanted something artistic and visually stunning - not a straightforward, chronological telling of events. I wanted something that would stir up the emotions of the day and really capture the energy of our wedding. This is exactly what I got! His work is beautiful. During your wedding day, he works so seamlessly, it's like you don't even know he's there. And when you do interact with him and his team, it's like working with old friends. He's very natural in how he sets up shots - we didn't have to stage much of anything, he just filmed us in our element and it turned out wonderfully. There is a substantial difference and I am always one to pay for quality – especially if it’s my wedding day. As soon as I expressed interest, Carl was immediately engaged. he littlest moments. It truly was a blessing to have him filming my wedding. Now every time I watch my video I cry, because it truly makes me feel like I am back on the day experiencing the love and emotion I was feeling. Both films were beautifully edited, with music soundtrack, vows, and speeches seamlessly stitched together into two films that captured the most special and meaningful moments of the entire day. Our family and friends were equally complimentary of Carl and his staff, as well as their final product. They captured so much great footage from the groom and bridal parties before the wedding, the ceremony itself, and the reception, allowing us to see and feel the wedding day through different perspectives. There were so many moments captured in the films that evaded us the day of, but Carl made sure we would be able to fully see all those beautiful and touching moments. Our wedding day flew by, but the video from CSM Wedding Films has allowed us to relive it any time we want, and to see and experience every part of our special day!

It's not one of those videos that just takes you through the day, he really captured the entire feel of the day. I saw so many things I didn't realize happened on our video. And the short highlight film was so fun to post on social media for people who couldn't join us from across the country. What really struck people was the artistic quality. It was beautiful but so well done. One friend's mom told me it looked like a commercial she might see for an upcoming movie. Carl met with my husband and I almost a year or so before the wedding and, just in that meeting, I think he captured our personalities. It really came through in the video. I remember when I was watching our video thinking it looked like Carl and his assistant were everywhere and in the middle of everything, but I honestly don't remember seeing much of either of them with their cameras being in the mix of things on the day. What I do remember of them on the wedding day was that they felt like friends I had always known (which I didn't realize was so crucial for the people around for the more intimate parts of the day like the getting ready and the bride and groom first look!). They caught the most beautiful parts of the day and it was truly such a gift we would not have otherwise. I cannot recommend CSM more strongly. I could not have dreamed of a better video.

back to Starbucks! It was fate. Carl is an outstanding, truly talented filmmaker. He was dependable and knowledgeable. He directed us skillfully and produced some truly tremendous videos we will treasure for the rest of our lives. But we found more than a wedding videographer that day in Starbucks. We found a friend.

best investments we made! When we were looking for potential vendors, we had built a wall up, in the case of rejection, because we're a same sex couple. Carl immediately welcomed us and embraced us. That alone deserves a 10 Start Rating! Our wedding day was FUN! Carl and Carina added to that fun, perfectly. They were never "in the way" with their equipment, they were never overwhelming with their presence, they respected our wishes (which were few) and meshed well with our friends and family. I wish they were actual guests! The finished product is amazing! I miss our wedding day, but our video lets me go back and relive it and it warms my heart. Carl and Carina captured our day, perfectly! If we had to do it over again, we wouldn't change a singe thing, including booking with CSM! Grateful is an understatement of how we feel about CSM….we'll close this review with, we couldn't have chosen a better vendor than CSM to be our wedding videographer. that was all I needed to be convinced that I needed them to document my wedding. Their work spoke to me instantly. The film quality was superb and even the short highlight films were able to unveil a beautiful love story. I contacted Carl right away and he was very prompt at responding. We lived in Phoenix and he was in Tucson, but he worked tirelessly (and very generously) around my nightshift schedule to meet with Adam and I to discuss our vision for our wedding video. I felt bad that he made all that effort because all I needed to tell him was that I had complete and utter faith in his creative abilities. His team was incredibly professional and knows how to work a wedding! I felt completely comfortable around all of them and knew that telling our wedding story was completely safe in their hands. Not only were they all very professional, they were incredibly FUN with all of our wedding guests! It was so easy to see that they love what they do and that work does not feel like work to them. We received our video sooner than expected and were completely blown away with how beautiful it was. My husband had initially been skeptical about needing a videographer because we also had a wonderful photographer, but after watching our video he said, "That was the best money we spent for our entire wedding." I have watched my video over and over and am still in awe at how beautiful it is. I don't even feel like I'm seeing me on the screen - I feel like I'm watching a romantic movie in the theatre!
