My fiancé and I toured The Carriage House Inn when searching for a wedding venue in May. It took several phone calls to even get in touch with them to set up a time to tour the Inn. We were eventually given a tour of the Inn and had a decent ex...perience, but the tour seemed awkward from the start. There was just something off about it. The venue was quaint and nice, but ultimately was not what we were looking for (which is perfectly fine and has no sway in this review). However, we were told that the owner would get in touch with us regarding pricing, capacity, planning, etc, but we never heard from them again. As a young couple, people seem to treat you differently, and the experience we had here is infuriating. The tour was awkward, and it wasn’t what we were looking for, but at least have the decency to get in touch with us. They got effectively conveyed the message that they either did not take us seriously, or they didn’t want our business. Unprofessional and somewhat degrading. They get two stars for giving us a tour and not turning us away at the door.
