I recommend hiring Center of Attention Events for your wedding or other event. From the beginning, working with Michele felt very personal and she’s so good at making sure you have the type of event you want and still stay on your budget. She’s fun and stayed relaxed and level-headed during a time which can be stressful. I also really appreciate her staff, especially Sara who did great graphic design work for invitations and signage. Sara is also wonderful to work with. I was able to really enjoy my wedding day because I could put my trust in Center of Attention Events and our guests had the best time ever, we received so many compliments. One person even said he had been to a wedding at our venue before and ours was much more organized. I would hire Michele again!

Where do I even begin! Michele was the best choice I made for my wedding. I can't believe the level of care and details that went into planning. I wanted purple on purple with hits of gold and I got exactly that! It was a fairy tale setting at my favorite hotel SLS Beverly Hills. I would have became bridezilla if I didn't have Michele and her team! They made the whole process stress free. I'm so happy everything went as planned even though we had some dress malfunctions but of course Michele had her big kit to fix everything! I received non stop compliments it was an unforgettable hard to one up wedding!

They knew everything about the venue and what we needed to satisfy the cities requirements. Michele designed the most beautiful wedding. I showed her inspiration pictures and she took it from there. Every detail was magical.

Center of Attention Events, led by Michele Fox Gott, is a professional, creative, warm and caring organization. From the moment we met with Michele, we felt the time and money was well spent. She had ideas, she listened to ours, supported our interactions with vendors, and helped make connections to vendors when we didn't have any idea which way to go next. On the day of the event, she and her assistant, Natalie, were prompt and understood exactly what needed to be done...it all seemed to be done behind the scenes and seamlessly. I'm a detail person who likes control. I have put on many events, including another wedding, without any assistance, and if I were to do another event, I would call her immediately and enlist her services. She has a great way of supporting your needs with the utmost calm. And, she always seems to be smiling and enjoying your even as much as you should. Michele was my muse. Her ideas inspired me to create my picture perfect wedding. She is so much fun to be around and then tough as a diamond when she managing all the vendors setting up the wedding. I watched her delegate to a large crew. At all times, she seemed to be systematically guiding the florist, caterer and delivery guys without a blink. Still she came to me smiling. I felt as if she and her team were truly taking care of us.

Thrilled to have known Michele for many years. The moment I became engaged I knew just who to call. She spoiled me, just like her slogan "Spoil yourself..." Planning my wedding was actually fun. She knew my taste and designed an overall detailed vision that surpassed my expectations. Every detail was on point. If there were any problems, I never knew about them. She let us enjoy the day with our friends and family without a tinge of worry. We will be forever grateful.

We were so lucky to have Michelle (of Center of Attention Events) help plan our celebration. Michelle helped us find a great caterer, a great venue, a great cake(s), and then she ran the whole show with style and precision! We could not have been more lucky to have found Michele. We would not have been able to pull together our wedding (remotely from Northern California) at Greystone Mansion in July without Michele and her team. We were introduced to Michele when I was interviewing a catering company. At the time, we had already decided on Greystone Mansion. Since Greystone Mansion is a large and historic property, I knew we would need to hire an experienced coordinator who was really familiar with the venue. Within a two week span, I interviewed 10 to 15 different wedding coordinators. I ultimately decided to go with Michele because she was transparent and incredibly generous about sharing her knowledge (the logistics of holding a wedding at Greystone) and creative ideas (we did not want a traditional wedding). Even on our initial call, we brainstormed the different layouts options and weighed the pros and cons of renting the interior of Greystone for our reception. I was very impressed with her knowledge of organizing a wedding at Greystone (the need for padding on the bottom of each chair leg) and logistical details of navigating such a large property (the time staff would need to move food between the kitchen, the prep area, and the guests). She is so creative. When we decided to hold our reception inside, Michele suggested a wonderful idea of decorating each room separately so that our guests would feel like they are guests in a beautiful home. We loved the idea and we are so glad that we held the reception inside. Our wedding day turned out to be the hottest day in recorded history for Los Angeles! She thinks of every detail. When she heard that I was tailoring my dress, she suggested that I ask my tailor to video how to pin up the bustle so she would be able to help me. We had almost 100 guests (including 10 kids). Michele helped us set-up a “kids activity room” for kids and guests to play geeky board games. She is very patient. I was very hands-on with the table seating arrangements. Michele was very patient and understanding. She had to make adjustments to the table rentals at the last minute to accommodate guest grouping changes. She’s a superwoman! Michele knows everyone and assembled an amazing team. Make-up & Hair: We ended up going with both of Michele’s recommendations for hair and makeup, both artists were hired for the wedding and one for our post-wedding photoshoot. DJ: We loved Michele’s DJ. We had an initial conversation with the DJ, he got to know our quirky background and tastes (classic movies, opera, ballroom dancing, argentine tango). I can’t tell you how many of our guests loved our DJ and the music. Michelle was absolutely right that he knows how to read the crowd! Florist: We trusted Michele and her florist to create the look that would fit our budget and match the space. I loved all of the floral arrangements. Videographer: Michele found us a videographer at the last minute because we wanted to capture the first dance and speeches. Catering & Bar: We decided to do buffet stations and a bar on the terrace. Several guests told me they loved the Salmon and the speciality cocktails. Cake: We went with Michele’s recommendation for the cake (Triple Berry Cake from Sweet Lady Jane). So delicious! And she took care of decorating the cake with flowers. Michele really cares and bent over backwards to make our wishes come true. Thank you so much Michele! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Michele to anyone.

Michelle at Center of Attention Events was an invaluable resource when it came to planning our wedding. From choosing entertainment, floral decorations, and coordinating services with other vendors, she paid attention to every detail for us. All we had to do was show up and celebrate with our friends and family. We are 110% satisfied with Center of Attention Events and highly recommend her for your special event!

This way you can enjoy being engaged and the process of planning your wedding, and most importantly--your special day! Michele and her team were professional and made sure that my wedding was both memorable and that it was everything that I had imagined. Michele planned my wedding and I'm so glad that we had her to help us throughout this process. My experience was true to her company's name, as I felt like I was the center of attention. I was so reassured by Michele's experience and attention to detail, which made planning my wedding much less stressful than it would have been otherwise. Any time I needed absolutely anything, I could call Michele and she would take care of it (for example, when my husband had not yet had his suit pressed four days before the big day, Michele picked it up, took it to get pressed, and got it back to us). On top of that, she has a great personality and sense of humor, which my entire wedding party and I appreciated so much. I would enthusiastically recommend Michele for any wedding!

My daughter and son-in-law just got married at Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, CA. Michele was my wedding planner. The wedding was beyond beautiful, magical in fact, and Michele was wonderful. Her calm, fun and upbeat personality combined with her excellent skills and professionalism were invaluable in calming my daughter and me down throughout the inevitably stressful process and made working with and getting to know her a pleasure. Her prices are reasonable and her energy and good cheer unfailing. She's fabulous. That's all there is to it. Can't recommend her highly enough.

Thank Heavens for Center of Attention Events. I felt like they worried so much about the details, I didn't have to. Working with Michele and Joanna, made everything seamless. I was worried about planning an LA wedding because I live over 200 miles away. They were my Los Angeles connection. When I would have a chance to to visit, they would have all of our appointments lined up flawlessly. They had already interviewed and researched our wedding vendors so that we felt confident saying yes. Our wedding day went perfectly. They guided our guests through the cocktail reception so that I could walk down the aisle without having to worry about my guests being left alone. Then they helped deal with every moment according to our game plan.

I don't often write reviews but I feel lucky to have found Center of Attention Events and they deserve to be recognized. The best decision we made during the wedding planning process was hiring Michele Gott of Canter of Attention Events! I was referred to her by another bride. Upon our first meeting I knew right away I wanted her to plan our wedding at the Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills. During our meeting Michele showed me examples of her work and was very informative. She was not pushy and I didn't feel pressured at all. The Greystone Mansion is a historically sensitive venue but Michele's expertise and experience surpassed our expectations. She introduced us to a spectacular team of vendors which included the Florist, Caterer, Bar Service, Wait Staff, Photo Booth, Rentals, and DJ. Michele is always upbeat, but calming. Her energy is alway positive and reassuring. She was readily available to answer questions and help find solutions to everything. Her dedication and commitment made us feel valued and confident about our special day. When we thought we had an issue with the cake, she personally went to the bakery to handle the situation. She always had our best interest first and tried to help us save money whenever possible. For example, she and her assistant, Kim designed and printed all of our classy Art Deco seating chart, menus, and miscellaneous signage in house! They even picked up some special plates for us so we wouldn't be charged a delivery fee. On the day of the wedding, Michele came to the hotel to check up on me. She brought me an iced tea and helped me put on my gown and drove me and the maid of honor to the wedding location. When we got there her friendly staff greeted us upon arrival and made sure we had water and straws in the waiting area (it's all in the details!). She orchestrated the day so well that all we had to do was show up! Lastly, She made sure to pack us a couple of boxes of food for our hotel and also kindly delivered our marriage license. Michele was our wedding guardian angel. She protected and guided us safely during the entire journey! We could not say enough great things about the most professional, wonderful, lovely, dedicated, thoughtful, generous, resourceful, event planner that is Michelle Gott of COAE.

Center of Attention Events led by Michele Gott, is absolutely fabulous! They coordinated both of my son's weddings and I would hire them again in a minute for another event. From the venues to the rentals, food, decor, music and more, I cannot recommend them more highly.
