referred to her by another bride. Upon our first meeting I knew right away I wanted her to plan our wedding at the Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills. During our meeting Michele showed me examples of her work and was very informative. She was not pushy and I didn't feel pressured at all. The Greystone Mansion is a historically sensitive venue but Michele's expertise and experience surpassed our expectations. She introduced us to a spectacular team of vendors which included the Florist, Caterer, Bar Service, Wait Staff, Photo Booth, Rentals, and DJ. Michele is always upbeat, but calming. Her energy is alway positive and reassuring. She was readily available to answer questions and help find solutions to everything. Her dedication and commitment made us feel valued and confident about our special day. When we thought we had an issue with the cake, she personally went to the bakery to handle the situation. She always had our best interest first and tried to help us save money whenever possible. For example, she and her assistant, Kim designed and printed all of our classy Art Deco seating chart, menus, and miscellaneous signage in house! They even picked up some special plates for us so we wouldn't be charged a delivery fee. On the day of the wedding, Michele came to the hotel to check up on me. She brought me an iced tea and helped me put on my gown and drove me and the maid of honor to the wedding location. When we got there her friendly staff greeted us upon arrival and made sure we had water and straws in the waiting area (it's all in the details!). She orchestrated the day so well that all we had to do was show up! Lastly, She made sure to pack us a couple of boxes of food for our hotel and also kindly delivered our marriage license. Michele was our wedding guardian angel. She protected and guided us safely during the entire journey! We could not say enough great things about the most professional, wonderful, lovely, dedicated, thoughtful, generous, resourceful, event planner that is Michelle Gott of COAE.

e who is the best at their game. She connected us with the most amazing photographers, magicians, bartenders (including a magician bartender!), caterers, florists, DJ... the list goes on and on. The best decision I made was working with Michele (and I guess picking my husband ;P). Aside from vision and knowing the best people, Michele also took a lot of time to get to know Dave and me. She understood us as people before planning everything, so she really understood our tastes and what we like. We didn't want typical; we wanted magic and she understood that. I can't recommend Michele enough. Hire her and then don't interfere with genius. I am so grateful to her!

was super excited to do a wedding there. When Covid hit, it was obviously a blow to everyone, and Michele was super supportive throughout, saying she was in it for the long haul with us, no matter what we decided to do. She even offered to help plan our private elopement, which we ended up just doing ourselves halfway through 2020. We postponed the event to summer of 2021. Since our party was super non-traditional and DIY, it was imperative that the separate "features" we wanted to incorporate flowed well on the day. In the final months leading up to the long awaited day, Michele and her assistant went above and beyond what average "day of" coordinators would do. Michele connected us to our bartending service, our rental company, made intros to DJs, suggested various catering ideas that aligned with our extremely modest budget, and had helpful insight and inventive ideas throughout. She has a wonderfully positive "we can make anything happen" attitude. The wedding party itself was a smashing success, everyone was on the dance floor until we had to leave the venue. Even almost a month later our friends and family are still telling us how much fun they had. We wouldn't have been able to pull off our party without the help of Michele.

I was interviewing a catering company. At the time, we had already decided on Greystone Mansion. Since Greystone Mansion is a large and historic property, I knew we would need to hire an experienced coordinator who was really familiar with the venue. Within a two week span, I interviewed 10 to 15 different wedding coordinators. I ultimately decided to go with Michele because she was transparent and incredibly generous about sharing her knowledge (the logistics of holding a wedding at Greystone) and creative ideas (we did not want a traditional wedding). Even on our initial call, we brainstormed the different layouts options and weighed the pros and cons of renting the interior of Greystone for our reception. I was very impressed with her knowledge of organizing a wedding at Greystone (the need for padding on the bottom of each chair leg) and logistical details of navigating such a large property (the time staff would need to move food between the kitchen, the prep area, and the guests). She is so creative. When we decided to hold our reception inside, Michele suggested a wonderful idea of decorating each room separately so that our guests would feel like they are guests in a beautiful home. We loved the idea and we are so glad that we held the reception inside. Our wedding day turned out to be the hottest day in recorded history for Los Angeles! She thinks of every detail. When she heard that I was tailoring my dress, she suggested that I ask my tailor to video how to pin up the bustle so she would be able to help me. We had almost 100 guests (including 10 kids). Michele helped us set-up a “kids activity room” for kids and guests to play geeky board games. She is very patient. I was very hands-on with the table seating arrangements. Michele was very patient and understanding. She had to make adjustments to the table rentals at the last minute to accommodate guest grouping changes. She’s a superwoman! Michele knows everyone and assembled an amazing team. Make-up & Hair: We ended up going with both of Michele’s recommendations for hair and makeup, both artists were hired for the wedding and one for our post-wedding photoshoot. DJ: We loved Michele’s DJ. We had an initial conversation with the DJ, he got to know our quirky background and tastes (classic movies, opera, ballroom dancing, argentine tango). I can’t tell you how many of our guests loved our DJ and the music. Michelle was absolutely right that he knows how to read the crowd! Florist: We trusted Michele and her florist to create the look that would fit our budget and match the space. I loved all of the floral arrangements. Videographer: Michele found us a videographer at the last minute because we wanted to capture the first dance and speeches. Catering & Bar: We decided to do buffet stations and a bar on the terrace. Several guests told me they loved the Salmon and the speciality cocktails. Cake: We went with Michele’s recommendation for the cake (Triple Berry Cake from Sweet Lady Jane). So delicious! And she took care of decorating the cake with flowers. Michele really cares and bent over backwards to make our wishes come true. Thank you so much Michele! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Michele to anyone.

All we had to do was show up and celebrate with our friends and family. We are 110% satisfied with Center of Attention Events and highly recommend her for your special event!
