Based on Oahu, Hawaii, Chain Reaction is the top classic rock cover band that provides reception music on all of the Hawaiian Islands. The members of this five-piece group are all experienced performers. You may call on these seasoned musicians to play popular rock music hits and make your wedding a truly enjoyable and memorable experience. Chain Reaction began in 2017 as a cover band playing the music of the rock supergroup Journey. Since forming, this group has expanded its song list to include the greatest hits of bands such as Queen, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, and many more. These experienced musicians strive to keep improving and building on their high standards. Wedding services with Chain Reaction come in a variety of packages. All packages include the services of this five-piece band for a three-hour reception with a 15-minute break. Additionally, this group will take up to three song requests to learn before your wedding day. Depending on your preferences, they can also provide cocktail hour music, dinner music, and even music for the ceremony itself (usually piano/organ/guitar/vocals). They will gladly travel to the outer islands if need be. If desired, the group can form duets or trios for quieter or more subdued ceremonies.

These guys were great – sooo much better than a DJ. They did everything – learned 3 Christian songs for the ceremony, did dinner music with their sound system, and then played great dance music during the reception. They had to set up their e...

quipment twice: once for the ceremony, then again, about 150’ away, for the dinner and reception. All with smiles on their faces. We were so lucky and the guests were so happy.

Very professional and super helpful. Unfortunately the venue dropped a bomb on us and said no rock bands -- this was 2 weeks prior to the wedding! But Chain Reaction said no problem and delivered great DJ services, as well as fantastic music ...

for the ceremony. The ceremony was in a nearby forest, but they brought a great sound system that filled the air with stereo strings and organ. They then had to quickly set up at the dance tent, where they provided live dinner music and then dance music later , taking requests from our guests, who all had a great time. The also provided Emcee services and also filled a last-minute request for a microphone during the ceremony. REALLY happy with Chain Reaction!

We loved these guys! The theme was TopGun and they played music from the movie! Danger Zone was such a hit with our guests! We lost air-conditioning but the band kept playing, and we kept dancing! The DJ's equipment failed, but Chain Reaction...

filled in instead -- I paid them double :)

Peter Douglass

Manager

Rock keyboardist for decades, playing with several successful cover bands. Holds two music degrees, including a Master of Music in Music Composition. Award-winning music director for local music theater performances. Has also composed film soundtracks for two Hawaii Film Festival entries. Is honored to be a pipe organist for a local Tabernacle.
