ious and well prepared. He accommodated for our guests with allergies. He worked with our budget and made adjustments to things as the wedding approached. His team was so competent and friendly. They helped set everything up and take everything down at the end of the night. They kept everyone's water glasses full, cleared plates, and were so professional. I was very impressed with their level of service and would definitely advise brides to meet with Bert!

y overwhelming and I during my search I had remembered that a co-worker parents just recently married so I inquired who she used for a caterer and what she thought of them. She had only great things to say about Chef Berttron so I looked him up. Our first meeting went very well so we had him come to our home and prepare a meal for the Bride, Groom, and both sets of parents. We chose the food and were quite pleased with the outcome. Chef Berttron has a lot of experience under his belt and it showed. Additionally, he was very understanding when we told him about a food allergy the groom has and was more than happy to make adjustments. We ordered the chicken marsala, garlic mashed potatoes, halibut with a dill butter sauce (the halibut the guys caught just a few weeks before and Chef did not charge extra for preparation of the fish) salad with pears and candied walnuts and fresh rolls. Everything was cooked to perfection and so delicious. Many of the guests said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Aside from the food, Chef Berttron was amazing with helping us figure out timing for everything, announcements, and just about anything you might hire a wedding coordinator for. Seriously, this guy was amazing! Who needs a wedding coordinator when you have someone like Chef Berttron helping you organize everything from start to finish and at no extra charge? He provides all the linens, plates, stemware, silverware, and did all the set up and clean up. His staff was professional and courteous. His staff even setup all our centerpieces for us. I cannot say enough about how perfect everything went because of Chef Berttron and his staff. At one point, he even came and pulled me out on to the dance floor and danced with me and I must say, he made me look like I knew what I was doing! If you are looking for a caterer that is professional, reasonably priced, an excellent chef who takes control and lets you just enjoy your day without any fuss, look no further than Chef Berttron. He and his staff are truly amazing and I cannot thank him enough for everything he did that day. Wedding day was August 1, 2015.

all this experience under his belt and we were on a tight budget so we figured it would turn out okay in the end. The next time was not a good experience... you see, my mother had cancer and I tried to cancel my wedding, other vendors were understanding but he was not, he had no compassion at all. We paid him 400$ more than the initial amount for the down payment and he wouldn't even reimburse us for that, OR for any of it, which is ridiculous and unfair. So we went ahead with the wedding anyway. Our next meeting was at the wedding venue and I dont know if he even realized it but he was being completely rude, half the time he was talking about how "death" is just apart of life... A bride who's mother is dying does not need a half hour converstation about how death is something that everyone has to deal with sooner or later. He kept talking and I was on the verge of tears, I just wanted to tell him to stop but I didn't want to be rude and have him ruin our wedding day. Now that its over I should have told him what a terrible person he was because he managed to ruin it anyway. The food was terrible. We had ordered the baron of beef (which tasted like fake meat, nothing like it was described in this menu), Shrimp cesar salad (the shrimp were so small and tasted fake as well), Fresh sour dough bread (the bread was hard and did not taste fresh at all), i guess the only thing that tasted okay was the fresh vegetables, but even that I felt it was over cooked. The food was terrible... but I guess what should I have expected... cheap ingredients were used and was cooked by a chef who should have his license taken away from him. His servers were okay, some of them walked around not knowing what to do, which made me upset because we PAID them to serve. Like when we cut the cake, cupcakes were supposed to be passed around afterwards and they didn't do it. I was upset because I had half my guest walking up there to get their own cupcake. Out of all my vendors I truely regret hiring him as our caterer for our wedding. Make sure what you are getting into if you consider hiring him but please do your research... there are much better caterers out there and you have to look into reviews, I did look into him at the beginning and inquired Bert about one review that was written by Vincent L.... Reading it made me worried and I wish I had contacted him to get more information, maybe I would have realized that hiring this guy was a mistake.... I am trying to save you unhapiness at your wedding or special event!

ps with our DJ at our wedding and Chef Bert even took over the announcements of dinner, the cake cutting, toasts, etc which made things flow smoothly. I highly recommend him...prices are extremely reasonable and he even takes care of table linens and cleanup afterward. Great experience!

ave heard RAVE reviews from my guests about the food. Bert and his staff are very professional and I didn't have to worry about a thing. I was so impressed and the whole experience was so easy and Bert was so VERY helpful.

's great about Bert is that he includes EVERYTHING in his quote! The food is delicious and we really appreciated having something to carry out with us from the wedding to the airport!

needs for 250-300 people, and helped us present a menu we were happy with (sufficient variety) that was also cost-effective. We didn't do anything fancy (no steak or fish), but what we did have was very good - pasta, chicken, salads, veggies, various appetizers. Drinks were water, tea, coffee & punch. We provided our own alcohol.
