Such a magical venue! The couple who manages the venue, Henry and Lawanna, are so kind and down to earth yet organized and great at making your wedding vision come to life. We had our reception and ceremony at this venue and we got so many compliments of how beautiful it was! It's tucked in the mountains and is so nice to have cabins onsite as well as all the events for the weekend.

This venue was amazing from the start. The beauty of this venue surpassed my dreams. I was awed by the gorgeous scenery from the moment I stepped out of my car. Henry and Lawanna were both so welcoming from the very beginning. The food was OUTSTANDING. Lawanna did an incredible job organizing the whole weekend. Henry's decor and floral arrangements were absolutely breathtaking. I love this venue. We also went with thier preferred photographer and WOW! Cariad Photography did an incredible job capturing our day. I would not change one single thing about our day.

Chota is the perfect choice for weddings! We decided it was exactly what we needed simply by looking at one photo on their website. The entire property is elevated classy rustic with a waterfall! All of the exposed wood and beams are an incredible site. Lots of options for the ceremony at the venue. The waterfall is amazing, but there’s also a stunningly sweet chapel! All of the staff is friendly and so invested in making it YOUR day and they treat you like family from the first. I loved this place from the moment I found out it was basically one stop shopping! On-site catering, florals, and day of coordinations makes planning so easy! And the offer recommendations for all other aspects of the wedding planning process. Photography and NMC Entertainment are recommendations that were top notch for us!! Such great communication throughout! And they love what they do! You can feel it in every thing! For me, that was absolutely the best part of planning. Our day was a beautiful forest fairytale by the falls! I felt such peace and calm my whole wedding day. That feeling is priceless to me. More and more as the photos come in, I feel so thankful that we chose Chota. It was perfect day! They can give you your perfect day too! I highly recommend Chota Falls Estate!

My husband and I were married at Chota Falls on Sept 30th. I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding. Chota Falls its self is completely amazing, we chose to get married by the waterfall, with the quaint chapel as a back up if it rained. We did our First Look by the pool/water fountain. Luwanna and Henry were AMAZING. The entire staff was friendly, help full , professional and most of all fun! Henry's flowers were beautiful from the bouquets to the centerpieces. The bartenders and event staff where phenomenal, I didn't want for anything the entire weekend! If was amazing to spend the entire weekend with our friends and family all close by. The cottages are well maintained, comfortable, and so cute. I honestly would everything the same again. Almost forgot to mention the food, Arlene's fried chicken is probably the best I've ever had! I had so many guests comment that it was hands down the best wedding food they have ever eaten. Ending the evening by the bonfire was a perfect way to wind down, before heading to the ultra AMAZING penthouse suite. I was the best weekend every. My family and friends can't stop talking about it. Must see!

Chota Falls was truly my dream come true wedding. Everything about this place is magical, beautiful, and a absolute true fairytale. I planned my wedding from out of state & majority of my guests traveled from afar to this destination. They were absolutely amazed by not only this whole place in general, but several positive comments about the decor, very tasty food, & the amazing staff that help run it all. Lawanna & Henry the coordinators at Chota helped make our day absolutely perfect. They went above & beyond in every detail to make the dream come true wedding we hoped for. Even better, they helped make the whole planning process easy & stress free. Henry's talented eye for designing your decor & floral arrangements for our special day was more than I could of imagined. Truly the best in Georgia. This whole place is a hidden gem that will sweep everyone off their feet. Want to go back & relive it all again! We recently got married at Chota Falls, and everything was handled beautifully from beginning to end. My now husband and I were living in Georgia when we decided on Chota, but he got transferred to Michigan for work, and it became a destination wedding for us! Lawanna and Henry were so great. They worked with from a distance, and made me feel like everything would be exactly like I requested, and it was! We had the ceremony in the beautiful chapel, and it was amazing! The reception was so much fun and went exactly as planned. Henry did such a great job on the flowers and decor! Our wedding was everything we wanted and so much more. I didn't have to stress about what was going to happen when. Lawanna and Henry had everything taken care of, and all we had to do was enjoy the moment, and we did! Thank you so much to everyone at Chota Falls for making our wedding such an amazing, wonderful, fun, stress-free experience!!!!

Henry Luther did all of the florals for our ceremony, reception, and rehearsal dinner. I really wasn't sure of what I wanted, but after a few minutes spent with Henry he had a beautiful vision all planned out ... and it was spectacular! It was everything I could have ever imagined and more!

Looking for the venue that literally has it all? STOP! You've found it! Top reasons you have to have your fairytale wedding at Chota Falls: 1. The view: Everything about Chota is breathtaking. It feels like another world & you never want to leave. We chose the waterfall venue & it was just beautiful. The reception area is AMAZING. Whether your wedding is tiny or 300 people it feels perfect. They have a bond fire outside at dark that make for great pictures & gives your guest someplace else to gather & even roast marshmallows! A lot of detail & thought has gone into the entire layout of Chota. 2. The People: Henry & Lawanna are some of the sweetest people, as well as every staff member there. They make you feel like family & will see to it that whatever you want on your day will happen. They're awesome at what they do & always make you feel top priority. Henry did an awesome job with my florals & even made my crazy pumpkin obsession look beautiful. He went out of his was to get my light up pumpkins & use them as centerpieces as I had requested! Lawanna was a great coordinator & made sure everything was smooth as silk. She even helped with a day of dress mishap and helped keep my mom & I calm. She had all the answers! Roxie, Arlene, & Wayne are all superb as well! 3. The Food: When we did our menu tasting we know we hit the jackpot! It tasted like a 5 star restaurant. They have so many options and will work with you any way you need for them to. Appetizers during cocktail hour all my guests loved and the service throughout the reception was meticulous. The sweet potatoes are simply off the chain!!!! All in all, I could not imagine having my wedding anywhere else. Chota Falls has something for everyone and my guest couldn't stop talking about how beautiful everything was. I'm still getting compliments 2 weeks later about "THAT place"! Henry & Lawanna completed our wedding night in a way we can't say thank you enough for and I'm so blessed we were brought to Chota Falls. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Chota Falls was amazing and if I could go back and do things over, I would do it all the same! We just got married there in October and everything was perfect. Lawanna and her husband, Henry, run it and they do a fabulous job. Lawanna is your wedding coordinator the weekend of and Henry does the flowers and decor and manages the catering. And let me tell you...this man is fabulous and reasonable with flowers! Not to mention how many compliments we heard about the food. It was so nice to be able to have our whole wedding party and family stay right there on site in the cottages that they have. The cottages are all very nice and well kept. We got to make a whole mountain/cabin weekend out of our wedding!! From the rehearsal dinner, to the wedding, to the bonfire afterwards everything was spectacular and I didn't have to worry about a single thing! Chota falls has several areas to get married at and you can't go wrong with any of them. We chose to get married by the waterfall and had their beautiful chapel as our backup in case it rained. I can't say enough good things about Chota Falls. All of my guests are still raving about how awesome and unique this venue was!! Thank you guys for helping us have the wedding of our dreams!

What an amazing place for a private wedding celebration. Every detail was in place. The food, service and decor was incredible! The cottages are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Relaxing by the bonfire topped off the weekend.

Of course there were some ups and downs leading to the big day, but on that day everything was perfect. There is no better place to get amazing photos for your wedding. Everyone worked hard and made the day perfect.

My husband and I have never, ever experienced such a glorious event in our entire life! I am proud to say it was our daughter's wedding that was held at Chota Falls in the north Georgia mountains. This venue is a spectacle to be desired. The natural beauty of the vineyards, waterfalls,crystal blue water feature, adorable picturesque white chapel on the hillside, the exqusite villas decorated to perfection with fine bedding and luxurious towels and robes were decadent! Our families came in from all over the U.S. It was lovely that we could all be together for the weekend on the Chota property. The wedding planner and coordinator Lawanna and her husband Henry Luther who is the in house florist extraordinaire, treated us like royalty the entire weekend. Calm, collected was Lawanna's demeanor that held us all together like glue. Henry's floral creations turned the reception hall into a true fairytale to go right along with the personality of the property!!! George, Wayne and Roxy are the staff that was by our side the entire weekend; day and night they were there to assist,ever so happily assist us! These three thought of things before we even realized there was a need! I hope I am not forgetting anyone! You all deserve an applause, or a much needed rest! But I know there are more brides coming your way! BUT, most importantly, when we were there you made us feel like this was the only wedding, most beautiful wedding and the best wedding EVER! I saw Chota Falls in a magazine and immediately knew I wanted to be married there. The grounds are vast and exquisite. The staff was so nice and accommodating. My one small complaint was that the wedding planner did not always answer my emails/calls pre-wedding in a timely manner. Everything was perfect for the big day, however. We did not experience any glitches. This venue truly gave me my fairy tale wedding! I would highly recommend this venue.

We were really worried when we went for our food tasting because we didn't really like anything. The caterer at the venue worked with us on the menu and the rehearsal dinner and reception food was excellent!! If you book with Chota, you have to use their caterer, but she is wonderful.

The place is a fairy tale. I knew I wanted to have my wedding there. I made the right choice. The service was excellent. They genuinely wanted your time there to be happy and memorable. My family bragged about the location and scenery. The food was delicious. The managers and planners were eager to be of assistance.They thought of every detail. During the months prior to my wedding, it was difficult to reach them, which made us a little nervous. There was no need to worry because they had everything under control. I appreciate their thoughtfulness.
