said he understood, then proceeded to mutalate my hair by putting in short layers I never asked for bc it mushrooms your curly hair out as he fully knows, but bc he was frustrated and having a bad day he decided to do everything wrong by cutting over 12-15 inches in leangth with out my consent! Joel cut my hair into a bob after I said! "I DO NOT WANT TO CUT MY HAIR SHORT. NO BOBS, NO PIXIE CUTS, NO MULLETS! JUST A TRIM!" Joel then cut my hair into a uneven bob to the bottom of my kneck line, I wanted to get up when I noticed him going short asked what are you doing? He said matching your hair to your bangs! I said, I don't want my long hair matched to my bangs stop! I had gone in to either get bangs or grow them out from being over processed, he said better to grow them out, and just trim your hair 5 inches is what we discussed, and after saying that he continues to proceed mutalating my hair in spite in anger with his bad day. He should of left it at a free consultation, and canceled the appointment. It will take me 2 year's to grow this damage of a cut out. He had plenty of healthy curly hair to trim in nice style options galore, and allow the bangs to grow out as we discussed, and as I always do. I wanted bangs though to get rid of damage from lightening it in a Rogue streak during Covid lock down, to look nice for interviews I had. Instead he knowingly and intentionally wacked my hair off bc he had a bad client the day before....that isn't my fault! I'm extremely upset as I just had my second vaccine, and came in for clean up so I could look nice for interviews at spas since I am a Essthetician and nail teach. I am a very kind and a gental person, usually would not complain especially about a salon being in the industry myself, but that being said he is fully aware of that and trashed my hair knowing I wanted to look pretty and nice to get back into the spa industry for my client's! Not cool or okay at all. He hurt me, so here is a fitting review that's deserving. With my shampoo no scalp massage or kneck massage. He was aiming to leave, not to please at all. Hacked my beautiful long gorgeous hair off, never even said sorry! acted like it was okay. I went in for corrective repair and trim from a talented professional, and ended up my hair being violated. So sad 😭. I trusted him! Don't trust Joel with your long curly locks. He does whatever he wants to you hair without explaining, discussing, or asking. The worst experience I have ever had. It will take 2 year's to re-grow the 12-14 inches he wacked off! Don't go here. You will regret it completely.
