Theresa and Gabrielle strive to personally work with couples to organize drink menus and the quantity of the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available. Chug-a-lug Wagon offers fully tailored packages for wedding events ranging from decor options to menus. The repurposed vintage mobile bars can transform to complement a variety of themes such as beach parties, glamorous and chic designs, and rustic outdoor affairs. Couples love using the bars as a backdrop for photography sessions. Beverage menus can be optimized to suit the style of reception and the preferences of each couple. During a consultation, the team discusses every detail from liquors to mixers and the guest list. Arriving fully stocked with drink accessories, these bartenders go the extra mile to put the finishing touches on the experience.

Gabrielle has bartended in upscale venues from North Carolina to California for over 15 years. She managed bar programs, working alongside top chefs to create seasonal cocktails and consulting on several bar openings. Her cocktails are published both locally and nationally, online and in print. She has won cocktail competitions sponsored by Fernet Branca and St. George Spirits, to name a few.
Theresa has worked in the wedding industry for over ten years and started Chugalug as the perfect niche for the Charleston event scene. She also co-owns French Eclectic, for boutique rental company.

We had SO many comments on how amazing the bar set up was. Almost everyone told us there was never a wait at the bar and how fast and nice the bartenders were. From the wedding planning side, they were SO easy to work with. Were straightforward and made it easy to understand the entire process, were quick to answer our emails, and truly had great customer service. If you want quality cocktails as part of your big day, Chug-a-Lug is your go to— absolutely amazing! We had Chug-a-Lug at our wedding in November and we were beyond impressed. My husband and I created the cocktails that we wanted to serve and Chug followed the specs to a tee. Gabby was so easy to work with and communicative throughout the process.The Chugalette was also super cute and a perfect addition. The bartenders were friendly and professional. I have booked Chug-a-lug mocktails for my daughter's wedding. The chug-a-lug van we booked was so cute and went so well with our theme. The servers were very nice. My husband and I had the best experience working with Chug A Lug for our dream wedding day at Boone Hall. We had Blue, their nostalgic lumber truck, adorn our dream wedding venue offering the tastiest, most refined drinks for our guests. We chose Chug-A-Lug for our wedding as a satellite bar as well as one of their chuglettes to dispense beer and wine on tap. It was such a cute addition to our wedding and matched our venue well! The bartenders were amazing and so helpful and super friendly which also just made the atmosphere fun. Gabby did a great job estimating the amount of liquor/champagne for toasts.
The only thing was two bottles of one type of liquor was opened so we couldn’t return one of the bottles that would likely not have been opened in the first place, and my husband and I don’t drink much so it would have been nice to be able to return that bottle (especially after you're broke after a wedding haha). But at the end of the day, my guests had an amazing time and that’s all I wanted and I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

We had the VW-Bus bar cart for our wedding and it was a true crowd pleaser. The bartenders were amazing, super friendly, and full of great suggestions. The bartenders ended up creating a drink they called "The Special" which was the most requested drink of the night. Gabby, and every office person we worked with were quick to communicate with us, thorough, and a pleasure to work with. The happiness I felt having chug-a-lug, specifically chuglette, almost surpassed the happiness I felt by actually getting married. It is absolutely adorable and the staff/coordination team made everything so incredibly easy and fun. They picked up local beer from our favorite breweries in the area, actively worked with us to figure out the total quantity we needed for our guest count, and helped us a ton during the process. I would 1000% recommend them to everyone looking to host a wedding welcome party or big event!

Chug a lug was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. The process of reserving and ordering the bar and drinks was seamless. Theresa and her team were responsive and professional, and as for the actual day? Amazing. The chuglette brought the look and feel of the wedding to another level. The cocktails were well crafted (and definitely not weak might I add). The bartenders were incredibly efficient and were so fun to have there. From the booking process to the actual event, the Chugalug Wagon team was absolutely PHENOMENAL!! We hired them for our wedding welcome oyster roast and our guests couldn’t get enough of the cute lil Chuglette. Gabby and Theresa were fabulous to work with in the planning process and the bartenders were so sweet and helpful! They even saved my husband the last cup of his favorite beer before it ran out- the most thoughtful! Chug-a-lug and the Hummingbird Mobile Bar were the perfect addition to our micro wedding!! We used the Itty-Bitty bar service with 2 self-serve taps (1 cocktail and a beer tap) and it was perfect for our wedding of 15 guests. The service leading up to our big day from Gabby and Theresa was wonderful and truly a breeze! Gabby did a wonderful job offering beer options and cocktail options. We went with an Elderflower Paloma cocktail and it was a huge hit and the perfect refreshing cocktail for a September night in Charleston. Of course, the Hummingbird matched our micro-courtyard wedding perfectly and I love all of the fun photos we were able to get with it in the background or with guests and us using it. Service on the day of with logistics for drop-off and pick-up was super easy. They did an awesome job with details with an ice cooler and garnishes and we really couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would recommend this service to anyone who is looking for a creative and fun way to serve drinks at your event/wedding!

We used Gabby and the Chug-a-lug Wagon for our rehearsal dinner and welcome party at the Cooper River Room. They were very easy to work with and we loved being able to work with them to modify our two signature cocktails to get the desired cocktails that we wanted! We loved how they calculated the appropriate amount of alcohol that we needed for the event and we barely had any leftover which was great for our budgeting! Our guests loved how cute and the wagon was and the service was excellent.

My hubby and I chose Chug-a-Lug Wagon as our bar service for our wedding in Charleston! The vender caught my eye right away. I absolutely had to have the cute Chugalette as apart of my big day. You get a nice wagon and bar service all in one. Our guests loved it and so did we.
The owner, Theresa, was very helpful and quick/eager to respond to emails. Their website is informative and gave you a step-by-step of what to expect through the whole process. We booked the Chugalette for 5 hours of our wedding day. We added a seltzer, two drafts, one red wine, and one white wine for our guests. Chugalette was definitely a highlight to our wedding night!

They took so much off of our plate when it came to planning, preparing, obtaining, serving, and clean up for drinks – they really did it ALL!
The team was so helpful through the process and helped us choose both the right drinks, and the right amount for our crowd. We have gotten so many compliments on the group – “Super attentive and friendly bartenders,” “phenomenal drinks”!! Not to mention how cute the “wagon” we had was ! It was so beautiful and matched both our venue and vibes so well. Working with Chugalug was one of the best decisions that we made when it came to our wedding. We hired chug a lug to for our welcome party and wedding. It was the best weekend ever and they just went above and beyond with everything they did. We had the cutest mobile bar, the chuglette, on Friday night where we had pre-mixed cocktails on draft along with beer and wine. All of our guests thought that this was the cutest and coolest thing ever!! I could not have been more pleased with their service. They also used satellite bars on Saturday and made everything run so smoothly. We had a Charleston Punch served during the cocktail hour that was delicious! Gabby and team were so professional and helped each one of our dreams to come true.

Gabby and team were great to work with in planning for the open bar services both before and after the wedding ceremony. They proved to be flexible in moving the date as we had to cancel the original date for the wedding in 2020. We received a lot of positive feedback from our guests who thought the Chug-a-Lug Wagon set up was very cool, the bartenders were friendly and the drinks were good. If we were to ever host another event and planned on an open bar, Chug-a-Lug Wagon would be the first choice given our experience with them.

We were left very disappointed. We lost and wasted ALOT of money. Most of the alcohol we purchased went unused because it rained at our reception and the vehicle we selected to set up a bar at was unable to move closer to the area our guests were moved to to stay dry. So basically all our guests either couldn't get a drink or had to walk through the rain to get to the bar. Not very accommodating. So basically make sure you select the right spot the first time. Company just did not work well with the rain. The staff did work hard I'll give them that but that alone was not enough for what we paid.

Chug a Lug wagon was all around fantastic!!! My maid of honor surprised me with the Hummingbird 2 Tap for my wedding at Magnolia Plantation. It was the PERFECT "his and her" drink option! It was perfectly set up for cocktail hour with the cutest sign and surrounding decor. Not only did it provide two tasty self-pour cocktails, but it was an adorable photo backdrop for us and our guests. It was even set up in time to be used as 'pre drinks' for our ceremony! I can't say enough good things about Chug-a-Lug or recommend them enough! It was a highlight of our wedding for guests and something they will always remember! It was such a fun way to add a unique touch to our wedding day.
The whole team was everything you could ask for as a bride. Theresa was incredibly helpful, timely and professional with her communication throughout the entire planning process. The Chug-a-lug Wagon and the ladies behind it are phenomenal! They are a breeze to work with and make the entire process so much fun. We recently had them pouring Prosecco, a local IPA and waters prior to a ceremony and it was such a HIT! Where do I start?! Should I start with how incredibly sweet Theresa & her team are?! Or should I start with how amazing Gabby’s cocktails were?! The Chuglette was such a beautiful piece to have as part of our very Charleston wedding, but, the cocktails? Nothing short of amazing!! We gave Gabby our preferences and man did she pull through! The drinks were such a HIT! We did two of their pre-made cocktails and Gabby made sure to make them not only incredibly delicious but also beautiful. We are so pleased to have worked closely with each of these ladies and so happy to recommend them and their team! Even with a few mishaps (thanks, rain!) they pulled through (no literally, they actually pulled the chuglette under a covered area) and kept serving with smiles on.
