We had the most AMAZING wedding welcome party and rehearsal dinner at Circa 29!!!! The venue and staff are incredible!!! We would have stayed the whole night if we could. Anne was amazing to work with to coordinate all the details including pro...viding us with a list of recommended caterers, including options from right upstairs in the S&W food hall and a local spot right downtown. Her communication with us leadind up to the event was excellent. We did our primary catering for the rehearsal dinner portion with Daphnes at Twisted Laurel and the food was delicious!! They also allowed us to bring in food from outside, which was helpful for us budget wise for desserts, apps, etc. for our welcome party portion of the evening. They also coordinated with the caterer and another vendor with the delivery of food and worked with us to have some items like plates and utensils delivered to Circa 29 directly so we didnt have to remember to bring that ourselves, which was super helpful planning this from out of town. Anne also met with us twice prior to our event when we were in town to look at the space and talk through logistics. There's an amazing sound system already there with mics and we did a DIY karaoke for our guests. They loved it! It was awesome!! Our event captain Melissa was great, consistently checking in, even waited by our car in the loading spot outside for a bit while we unloaded and set up a few things, and running upstairs a few times to get some things needed that the caterer forgot or we had ordered for pick up from the Food Hall. She also consistently replenished food for us and cleaned up guests plates as they were done and helped us make sure the sound system was working right during some speeches our family made and during our Karaoke sing a longs:) The way the venue is decorated is just beautiful and so fun. You don't need to really bring any extra decor! Many of our guests complimented the decor and the overall speakeasy vibes of the place. The space was very comfortable for our 100 guests that evening. Parking is a bit limited, but that's how downtown Asheville is in general and there were decks nearby or some street parking, but majority of our guests walked from their hotels downtown or took an Uber/Taxi. We were able to work with the bar tenders to do a tab for the bar for the rehearsal dinner portion and then open it up to cash bar for the welcome party portion without any problems. The bartenders were great! I would highly recommend Circa 29 for any special event- especially a wedding welcome or after party, reception, or rehearsal dinner spot!!! This event was truly the highlight of our wedding weekend and provided us with memories we will always cherish!!
