City Gourmet catered my wedding and served the best brunch food I could possibly imagine. My husband and I interacted with Libby, and we can’t say enough about how kind, organized, and helpful she is and was throughout our season of engagement.... She was very responsive via email, texts, and calls; I had no hesitation that she was as excited about our wedding as we were. She sent us several sample menus, and knowing that my husband and I wanted a brunch wedding, her team of chefs went above and beyond our expectations for what we thought brunch foods would be. We set a hard budget for them, and they followed it accordingly. Our venue did not have all the components necessary for a nice sit-down meal, but City Gourmet took care of 100% of the rentals – they figured out the quantities of plates, forks, cups, linen napkins, tablecloths; took care of delivery and retrieval; setup and teardown. The food was absolutely amazing, the staff were so kind, and the presentation was beautiful. Their team provided adorable baskets for the biscuits to be displayed in, little jars with chalkboard labels for the homemade marmalades, cute water dispensers and fruit mix-ins. They plated the cookies for the Pittsburgh cookie table and replenished them as required. I didn’t even think about how the buffet-style dishes would look, but the City Gourmet team truly made everything look and taste gourmet. Libby took a lot of the “planning” stress off of our shoulders – she proved to be organized with print-outs and folders of our menu, rental examples, and cost breakdowns of where every penny was going. We had no hesitation in hiring City Gourmet, and we are so happy we did! I highly recommend this company to future engaged couples looking for quality food, service, and employees.
