Classic Cakes

ordered 9 regular sized Smith Islands in different flavors. They were the most amazingly delicious cakes in the world. Everyone was raving about how good they were. My only regret is that we only got one Reese's, that was gone quick. I was a little nervous because we were supposed to pick them up Friday around 11am. I got a call at 10:15 asking when we were coming Saturday to get the cakes. We were already on the road (an hour 1/2 away ). They said they would get it done no problem, not to worry. We stalled until about noon just to give them a little more time, and every last one of the cakes were finished and ready to go when we got there to pick them up. Really amazingly friendly and hard working staff at Classic Cakes. Don't know if I mentioned the best part. For an entire wedding of 160 people + Bride and Groom cake, the total was like 300 bucks. Comparatively, that was an AMAZING deal, not to mention we had cake left over for us to indulge in. Can't wait to go back on our 1 year for another cookies and cream :).

vice was so horrible. when i called the lady was very rude on the phone and acted like she really didnt care if i gave her my business or not. i live over 3 hours from salisbury and wanted a weekend cake tasting and she said she would not do that and then said the cake decorator would have to call me back and see if he might do a saturday tasting but she wasnt sure so don't get my hopes up. she also was impatient with my questions on the wedding cake process, delivery and pricing and acted like she was in a rush to get off the phone. the decorator then took over 2 weeks to call me back to see about the tasting and by then i was fed up and called a different cake company in ocean city who was nicer and did weekend tastings. while their cake is delicious, they really could use some customer service improvement. if you are going to be buying over a 1500 dollars in cake, you would think that they would be a little nicer on the phone and do weekend tastings so people dont have to take off work to come in. i thought if they were that uncaring on the phone, would they really try that hard on my cake to make sure it was what i wanted? that is why they lost my business because wedding planning is already stressful enough without worrying about dealing with rude people when there a many other nicer vendors out there.

my wedding cake so I had to explain it over the phone. It came out looking like a 5 year old princess cake. I am still so frustrated with this place. I will not go back to them for anything ever again! They also did my husband cake for his birthday and I payed a pretty penny for what was supposed to be a poker cake with fondant. The cake may have had three small poorly done poker chips on it. Wasn't happy again... Never will get my business again! My friends can do better than them!

cake, especially those from out of town who have never had a Smith Island Cake. All of my family goes to Classic Cakes and I would recommend them to anyone!!

a and fresh strawberries, the middle layer was a chocolate peanut butter smith island and the top layer was a banana smith island--cake was not only gorgeous and affordable, but delish!!
