Copake Country Club covers 0.8 square miles of grounds right by the shimmering waters of Copake Lake. The community by the Lake is a dynamic one with residents including locals and transplants such as farmers and artists. The premises of the Club feature a 6,266-yard championship golf course with 18 holes, opened in 1921 after its design by famed architect Devereux Emmet. On these grounds, you can enjoy the outdoors from one of several lush and rolling fairways. This location is excellent for your celebrations, is close to downtown Hudson, and has ample amenities such as golfing, water sports, beautiful walks, and fine dining. The Greens Restaurant can host indoor events with up to 110 guests, having two dining rooms and a multi-level deck with views of the golf course. You can also enjoy celebrations outside with between 100 and 250 guests, whether in a tent set up on the first fairway or upon a private hilltop farther out on the grounds.

So many of our guests asked, "how did you find this amazing place," but we walked away from our wedding asking "how did we get so lucky finding this amazing place?" Copake Country Club / The Greens is not only beautiful and serene, it is incredibly accommodating and will allow you to have a unique wedding that's completely your own, instead of just a cookie cutter experience.
We had our entire wedding weekend at the venue: a Friday Welcome Party, a Saturday Wedding, and a Sunday Farewell Breakfast. The staff worked so incredibly hard for us all weekend and especially Kyleigh Zengen, the Director of Operations, Event Coordinator, Wedding Planner, and Maestro of Everything. She truly does it all and we were floored by how well she carried out our vision even in the most difficult of circumstances, like a 50-degree and highly windy day in late June for an outdoor wedding. She lifted us up when we needed it, gave constantly great advice and suggestions, and felt like a valued partner throughout our entire wedding planning process. Every detail was accounted for and there are rentals and things that happened which never even came across our plate because Kyleigh just handled it and we fully trusted her to do so. Copake Country Club is wonderful, but Kyleigh makes it incredible.
And did we mention the food? We loved it so much we had 3 days worth of it and all our guests raved about how delicious everything was. Chef Freddie created the perfect feast and many guests couldn't believe how hot the meals were coming from an outdoor kitchen in a tent on a hill in the middle of a golf course, Our signature drink was also dangerously delicious and Copake worked with us to create our favorite cocktail, which was really special.
We could go on and on in this review, but the summation really is that we had the best night (and weekend!) of our lives and Copake Country Club / The Greens truly made that happen for us. We cannot recommend the experience enough!
We held our Rehearsal Dinner in August 2021 at The Greens at Copake Country Club and they did the MOST PHENOMENAL job! We highly recommend them for your next private event - birthday, anniversary, wedding, etc.
We had dinner on the golf course, on the hill above the 17th hole, at a beautiful long table. The location has gorgeous views and feels very private and intimate. Kyleigh helped with the coordination of a seasonal menu, floral, candles, rentals, and set-up to ensure perfection! Kyleigh and team were extremely attentive with service - no one's glass was empty, and the food was delicious! We brought small speaker outside for some music and enjoyed the sunset while we ate. After we went to the bar for a nightcap. Overall a wonderful experience, don't hesitate to book! :)
From the moment I got engaged, I couldn’t imagine our wedding anywhere other than Copake Country Club. Throughout the entire process, Kyleigh made it very obvious that we weren’t just another wedding, she wanted to make our day as special and unique as she could. After the initial meeting, we decided to go with a winter wedding and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. The Greens in the winter is so cozy and beautiful- just we wanted for our small, intimate wedding. Everything was completely customizable, we were able to add entree items that the chef didn’t have on the menu, but he was more that happy to accommodate and experiment to give us exactly what we wanted. We had a very short engagement, but Kyleigh was able to give us a stress-free experience and plan our perfect wedding in less than 3 months. We ended up with a snow storm the day of our wedding, but Kyleigh and the rest of the staff made sure everything went exactly as planned and moved things around last minute to accommodate indoor pictures. The entire experience was amazing and I highly recommend Copake Country Club and everything it has to offer.

I absolutely LOVED our wedding at the Greens! Kyleigh and her staff did an amazing job at accommodating all of our needs to make it truly the perfect day! The food, the ambiance and the service was absolutely outstanding! We also stayed at the Barn, on location which I highly recommend to anyone. It was the perfect place to get ready with my bridal party the day of :)
We had our wedding here on New Year's Eve and it was everything we hoped for and more! Kyleigh and her team are amazing and went above and beyond to make it special. The restaurant at the barn are both beautiful spaces. I highly recommend you check them out if you are looking for a beautiful, personalized, low-stress space to hold your wedding!
I can't say enough about how unique and beautiful this venue is. Our day was more perfect than I could have ever imagined. Kyleigh was always responsive and easygoing, even during all of those high-stress moments that come along with the wedding planning process. The restaurant is so beautifully rustic and charming, it really doesn't take much to dress it up. We got married on the 17th green and the view is just gorgeous. The food was fantastic, as always. We got so many compliments on our wedding, and I wouldn't have changed a thing. I highly recommend having an event here!
