We themed our wedding after the college my husband and I met at. So for our save the date and invitation we ended up designing them ourselves. We ended up getting magnets for our save the dates (for less than a dollar each!) We just sent the...m our design, they printed a proof, we blessed it off and they were printed. For our invitations we wanted them to be like an event ticket (where you tear off an end). Again designed them ourselves and sent them our design. They informed us of printing issues (like text to close to the edge) before they printed them so we could fix the design. Again, they printed proofs, we blessed them off, and they printed them with the perforated line where guests would tare off their RSVP part. They also printed the return address on the main envelopes as well the return envelopes for us too. For both the save the dates and the invitations & envelopes all cost less than $200!! Great way to save money and get exactly what we wanted.
