My availability was very limited because I live out of town, but Courtenay was so flexible and set our first appointment on a day later in the week, when she is usually in full-on preparation mode for the weddings that weekend.

met with Courtenay, we were still trying to envision what our wedding would look like at all. We had a large, somewhat vague color palette and only knew we'd like to incorporate succulents. Our meeting was so thorough; we spent time going through bouquet types, what sorts of flowers would/wouldn't work, etc. I mentioned that if possible, I would like as many of the flowers to be from local sources if possible. Courtenay sent over a SOW promptly after the meeting, giving us plenty of time to review.
There are reduced fee incentives for payment by check and early payment.
Her wonderful assistant Ingrid made sure that we had a follow-up appointment scheduled at the right point in the process. The 2nd meeting was a structured but still very open conversation to ideate and confirm what we wanted; I just wanted to convey the general look and feel and have her work from that as inspiration, rather than dictating exact details.
My husband and I had special bottles we wanted to incorporate into the table centerpieces and she made that happen, despite a slight miscommunication about how they were to be used that got solved just a few days prior to the wedding.
In the days leading up to the wedding, she worked out the specific logistics with us and even sent us a document outlining same, which made me feel very secure.
Everything that she made for us was absolutely astounding and yet using pretty much all local blooms! Her work was perfect. Better than I could have imagined even after our meetings. We received so many compliments and inquiries into who our florist was.
We made some very last minute changes with our cake and were hoping to use fresh flowers as part of the decorations. Courtenay was able to provide the baker with the perfect flowers using extras from the table centerpieces. They really made the cake.
Our experience working with Courtenay and her staff for our wedding was fantastic. Her arrangements were beyond gorgeous and hit the look/feel we were going for right on the bullseye.

they can make in a venue, but I certainly don't know much about them. I kind of felt like I wasn't able to verbalize my vision. So I just told her the basics-- my color scheme and a few adjectives-- and she thought of everything right down to the most intricate details. She worked in conjunction with my wedding planner to make the wedding an absolute show stopper. I'm not exactly emotional, but I burst into tears when I saw the final decor. I still to this day don't know how she did it-- she seriously took a page from my dreams and brought it to Cincinnati. Best of all? She was completely receptive to our budget concerns. My parents (including my dad, who wasn't exactly into the wedding planning process) sing her praises to this day and have gone as far as to say that she made the wedding. I agree. I've referred her to lots of my closest friends, so I'll do the same for you. Seriously-- book her.
