We searched many venues all over the area, and were in search of a rustic style venue that would be able to accommodate a rather large wedding. While we saw many beautiful venues, especially some out of our budget, after seeing Crosshaven for the first time we both knew it would be our perfect venue. Pat and Scott were very accomodating while we made our choice, allowing us to come visit many times to check out different details of the venue. The owners are easy to get in touch and are incredibly welcoming and friendly. They helped us build what we wanted in our ceremony and reception, and everything couldn't have worked out better! All of the guests have commented on how beautiful the venue and property are, and there was plenty of space for dancing all night!. Cast Iron Catering, who catered our reception, were also fantastic and willing to build a unique menu based on our families cultures(Guatemalan and Irish). Everyone, even the most particular guests, raved about the food! They will also be sure to find the perfect drink service, and had some wonderful options. We were able to supply our thirsty beer geeks from out of state with some very tasty options, as well as being sure to have something for everyone. Kirsten made sure the day of went smoothly. This is a unique venue in an amazing location, and the cottage that is available for the wedding weekend is very quaint, cozy, and the perfect place to retreat to after all the celebration. While we had some reservations about the DIY aspect of the venue, we have absolutely not regrets and things couldn't have worked out better.
I can not say enough wonderful things about Cross Haven Farm. A beautiful barn venue that can very comfortably accommodate 200 guests. The owners Pat and Scott are so easy to work with and really go the extra mile to make your wedding the perfect day. The grounds and gardens at Cross Haven Farm are meticulously kept and were the perfect setting to take formal pictures in front of. Inside the barn is a beautiful blank canvas that can be decorated to fit your style. The cottage located at the barn is ideal for the bride and a few bridesmaids to stay in the night before the wedding and for the bride and groom to spend there first night together. The barn is very reasonably priced and even includes event insurance. Crosshaven Farm has partnered with Cast Ironing Catering who was in charge of our food and bar for the wedding! I have heard numerous compliments about how delicious our food was! Kristin from Cast Iron and her team work hard to plan a food and bar menu that best fits your budget. We had the best craft beer and cider served fresh from the taps of the brand new wooden bar that was built inside the barn! The staff at Cast Iron were so friendly and always smiling, they were more than caterers to us; I could text Kristin with any of my requests the day of the wedding and she kindly put her crew to work to meet my request! I can't imagine having our wedding at any other place; I highly recommend getting married at this amazing Vermont barn!
