At the end of my wedding night Dana approached me and handed me a business card with “$870” written on it and said “This is your balance and I need it before I leave and it must be paid in cash or check only”. I told him to please charge my credit card or send me a bill. He said he couldn’t leave without getting paid. I told him this is my wedding night and that I don’t carry checks nor have that kind of cash on me. He suggested I go to an ATM. I reminded him this is my wedding and I have no intention of driving after drinking all evening nor leaving my bride. He said he would drive me to an ATM. I felt ambushed and didn’t know what to say. Luckily a friend of mine swooped in and paid him all in cash. We had a zoom meeting the week before the wedding to talk about first dance songs, logistics, etc. and he never mentioned anything about billing or only accepting cash or checks. I would have been happy to pay ahead of time and could have mailed him a check if that’s what he needed. But, he never said anything about billing. Also, his contract is for 5 hours, but he went an hour over and never said anything and billed us extra for it. I followed up with two emails looking for an explanation and he never replied. Dana was an OK DJ and was affordable and was nice leading up to the event, but very unprofessional closing out our event. I would not recommend him. I’d pay a little more for better service.

Our Dj was Greg from this DJ group. He did a great job, we had music for our ceremony, dinner music and then dancing music. Everyone commented on how the music was good and we had a bunch of people dancing.
