p will offer resolutions to the dispute, and then once you accept the offer - the shop will renege on it! Look at the reviews, they speak for themselves. Just ask yourself, do you want to take a chance doing business with a high risk company such as this when it involves one of the biggest days in your life!

I found the owner to be unavailable and unresponsive, and she refused 3 separate refund requests because “it violates store policy item #9 on the back of the receipt” (out of 15 reasons on the back of the receipt taking away all customer rights). She also did not offer any other remedy such as cleaning, repairing or replacing the dress. Item #9 says “Altered merchandise –No refunds or returns”. I personally don’t know of anyone who gets perfect fit off the rack at a bridal shop. The 15 policies were not pointed out at time of purchase. I should have been warned when I was in the shop to buy the dress. The staff were less than friendly and another customer, a bride, was having a very bad customer experience over her alterations, which had been done without her permission. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. There is a lovely shop, The Wedding Works, at the end of the very same block where the owner, Amanda, is in the shop, the staff were kind, patient and helpful, and they gave me a great discount on a replacement dress.

mmend getting alterations there. The lady there said I wouldn't need hardly any alterations. When I took it to a different seamstress, that seamstress said it would have to be taken in a whole size.

came in much later than expected and every time I called they told me it was Alfred Angelo they were waiting on. I have no way of knowing who's fault this was. Then when the girls received the dresses, they were very large ... on all of the girls. At least a full size too big in all three areas (bust, waist and hip). Again, I don't know how this happened, but it did cost the girls ALOT extra to have them altered at that point. In the end, they looked great on the girls though -- just beware on timing, whatever time they tell you you need to order by, order earlier than that! TUXES -- This was an issue. We used Danel again because they also do tuxes through Jim's formal wear (but beware this seems like a new service they are offering and are not super knowledgeable about it). They didn't seem to know how to measure properly, according to my husband the woman who measured him did not seem to know what she was doing. Then after the tux order went out, it was sent to me via email to verify and the wrong shirts had been ordered, so that had to be changed. BUT the biggest problem was that, all along I was told the boys would be able to pick up their tuxes on WEDS before the wedding. Then the week before, I was told that they TRY for WEDS but it could be THURS -- which due to our wedding being out of town, was impossible. They told me there was nothing they could do. I insisted and they made some calls to try to make sure they would be there on WEDS. Still no guarantee -- but they did end up there on WEDS. However, several issues with correct fit. MY husband especially, his shirt sleeves were extremely long to that they stuck out of the jacket --- he was very uncomfortable and annoyed with this. They told him this was standard length shirt? But I don't believe that to be the case as he is 6 feet and has long arms to begin with. No one else's shirts looked this way. Last, my dyed shoes ordered from them, came on time and looked great colorwise! Overall mixed experience with Danel. I would recommend them for dresses, but NOT TUXES. Go elsewhere for that.

s, I went in to purchase an Alfred Angelo dress that needed to be ordered. I had the style number and color ready to go but was not sure of my dress size. From the very moment that the sale associate unwillingly began to assist me, she had an unsavory attitude. When I arrived at the front desk and she approached, she began to fiddle with objects at the counter before even addressing me. Once she did finally address me, the phone rang and she stopped our conversation to pick it up, not once but twice. I worked in customer service for a number of years and that is a big no, no. During our very brief discussion she seemed entirely unwilling to sell anything to me by providing curt responses. Finally, I had to say that I was told on the phone I could purchase a specific dress in that shop and that I drove an hour to make the order before she even seemed remotely willing to sell me a dress. Then it came to sizing. She was very annoyed that I wasn't sure of my dress size given that they tend to run small. It wasn't until I mentioned that the sole reason I came to this establishment is because of the professed good customer service on the webpage, that "the professional" began to treat me like a customer purchasing a product. Disgruntled, she pulled a few dresses off of the shelf so that I could determine my own size. During the time that I spent waiting to pay my bill, I noticed the way that she acted towards other customers. She happily measured their bust, waist and hip sizes with the measuring band and asked if they would like to pay 50% of the bill now and 50% of the bill later. Neither of these services were offered to me. She also spent a few minutes filling out each person's order form and she handed me a blank to fill in each detail of the dress and my information on my own. The most annoying part is that I had the option to drive the same distance and go to an Alfred Angelo chain but had instead chosen to support a local business thinking that it would be a better experience and money well spent.

I asked her just to do the bustle. When I came back for my second fitting, she had altered the top of the dress, putting in darts without measuring, and making the dress too small for me (where it had fit perfectly before). She insisted that she had this "because I needed it" and tried to charge me $85 for her work, telling me how hard it had been to put in the darts. She vandalized my dress and then called me fat because dress no longer fit, and tried to convince me that I should let her alter the back of the whole dress in order to make fit again. I had to contact the owner of the store to get the seamstress to take out the terrible (and poorly done) darts. Despite all of this, they still make me pay full price for the bustle. A nightmare. Use the shop, not the seamstress.
