David Allen Events

David is absolutely incredible. He is so much more than a DJ. He was was very accommodating; we live a few hours away from our venue and had no trouble working with us. Going into it, we had a lot of ideas of what we did and didn't want, but there was still a lot we hadn't even considered. He helped us work through so many ideas and craft the perfect reception. He has an entire workbook to fill out in order to determine exactly what we wanted out of our ceremony and reception. For example, one section was a do not play list. When my sister-in-law requested a song on our do not play list, he told her she had to get our approval first. It's small details like this that add up to make him the best DJ and MC that anyone could ask for. We would recommend him to any of our friends and family without a moments delay.

David was absolutely wonderful to work with. Just take a look at his organized, detailed workbook of DJ plan, and you will know how experienced he is, how professional he is and how much he cares to make the day special and fun for you and the entire party. He was always punctual with our meetings before the wedding, he is clear with what he will do (everything is laid out so clearly), and on the day of the wedding, our family and friends had so much fun because he would actually show them how to dance to certain songs. That made a big difference in the party because there’s so much interaction. We really enjoyed working with David, he is truly a great DJ to work with!

David Allen was the best part of our entire reception. He brought energy and life to our wedding guests that ranged in age from 8 to 80! He was courteous and attentive from the moment we met at our first meeting through the end of the reception. One of the greatest assets of David is that he has put together a binder to help walk you through what you want your ceremony and reception to look like. This was invaluable for my husband and I since we didn't have a wedding planner. The binder took us through each part of the reception and asked us what our preferences were-and it let us omit anything that we didn't want. Going into the reception, I felt like I knew what the plan was and what was happening next, which was great because it allowed me to focus on my friends and guests instead of worrying about the flow of the reception. While he was not our cheapest option for a DJ/MC, I was so satisfied with how attentive he was to our requests for music. My husband and I are somewhat conservative Christians, and David did a great job of choosing music that was fun for everyone to listen without being too raunchy. We loved not having to worry about what was playing and what our guests would think of the music, which is what really allowed everyone to have fun. Overall would highly recommend David Allen Events! He was our favorite vendor from our wedding and really knows his stuff.

David is THE best emcee and DJ. He worked with us to understand our every need and desire for the entire day. He meticulously pays attention to every song and moment and was 100% willing to cater to our wishes. David goes WAY BEYOND playing music. He knows how to create an environment conducive to your style. For our reception, my husband and I wanted to create the most epic, fun, unique experience. David delivered. We loved it! Our guests loved it! When David announced the last song, there were audible sighs because of the fun everyone was having, and he left the crowd wanting more. It truly was the best dance party - and people are still talking about it! David is excellent in offering creative suggestions and providing opportunities to personalize your day. If you want a DJ who is professional, reliable, flexible and capable - David is your guy.
