David was such a great DJ/MC for our wedding; he really made the reception work. David was very well-organized; his wedding planning book really helped us figure out what we wanted for the reception, he was on time or early to all meetings and events, and he had everything he needed, probably plus some. David kept the pace perfectly; he knew better than we did what should happen next. The music he picked fit us really well, and the entire reception went right on track. The energy was great! The dance floor was packed all night (in a church wedding with no drinking and a taped off dance floor!) and the energy was just what was needed: relaxing during dinner, attentive during the father-daughter dance, and silly and fun as the night went forward. His equipment was great! Everyone could hear perfectly! It was a little loud for the grannies sitting next to the dance floor, and he played a few childish Disney songs-- per request from guests-- during dinne before we (the groom and I) got upstairs, but we had asked for soundtracks and let him know how much we love Disney. A bridesmaid asked him to stop and the rest was perfect. We really enjoyed working with David-- he had a ton of little touches and personalizations that made the evening really fun. The bear game was great, he brought in excellent lighting that really made the reception hall work, and the snow-effect during our first dance made it seem like a fairy tale dream. We could not have had this dream wedding and reception without David, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He was worth twice every penny we paid.
