tail step by step of the wedding. We went over everything 3 times and in fact, I was most confident in him and his abilities that nothing would go wrong with his piece of the wedding... Of course, Murphy's Law, that nothing ever goes completely as smoothly as originally planned... When it came time for me to walk up the aisle, he played the wrong song, though it was by the correct artist. I was cringing the whole way to the arch because all I could hear was the profanity in the song. This made for some interesting photos, to say the least. After the wedding, I reached out to DJ Gunz to discuss it and to try to get some closure on this memory (which was supposed to be perfect but is cringeworthy instead), toask him what happened, and he ghosted me. I would have given him an amazing review had he had the decency to talk to me about what went wrong. It is just a HUGE bummer.

Once the clouds parted the rest of the night was smooth sailing as he transitioned us flawlessly from one part of the evening to the next. I had under 30 guests at my wedding, but he kept the dance floor more packed than I’ve seen at weddings with 4 times that guest count!! He’s just that good. He is truly gifted at reading the room and making changes to keep the party rolling. He talks with you several times ahead of the big day making sure he gets you and your vibe, even planning for a destination wedding he makes it easy. I was beyond impressed and am so thankful he was recommended to me.

You can choose as much, or as little music as you want. We were pretty relaxed on our music selections so Matthew was determined to truly get to know us and our "vibe" to play the right music for our family and friends. And he did! Everyone from grandma to our close friends had an amazing time and we danced, danced and danced! Finally, when our wedding planner unexpectedly became our bartender and we had no one to help us stay on our timeline, Matthew made sure we were where we were supposed to be on time. When a very rude wedding crasher broke in and tried to ruin the party, he handled himself with such incredible tact and was so discrete we didn't even know it happened! Matthew was our DJ, our bouncer and our wedding planner that day and he did it all phenomenally! Thank you Matthew!

Matt is amazing at reading the crowd and playing what will get people dancing. He played music for all generations so that everyone got up and danced at one point or another and the dance floor was never empty. He took guest requests and made sure our party was just that, a party! He is truly the best!

My only complaint is that he cut my daughter/father dance off short (I think the reception was running a bit behind) but we had waited my whole life for that dance & I hated to see it get cut short. What can you do though. Matt is wonderful & professional. We would recommend him to anyone getting married in the Keys!

all of your requests into consideration, he is attentive to every detail of the night, he is there to set up long before start time to make sure everything is perfect, and he makes EVERYONE want to get up and dance. Some of my most conservative family members were out on the dance floor having the time of their lives. Caribbean Resort in Islamorada FL. DJ Gunz is very familiar with this location, which removed all stress related to setup and sound quality for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. DJ Gunz also uses a user friendly website to enter your music choices. We only put ~40 songs into the site and with that DJ Gunz knew exactly the music we wanted to hear. If you are deciding between an expensive band and a DJ, or for that matter any other DJ that will do weddings in the Florida Keys, stop searching. Go with DJ Gunz!
