DJ Justin GIlbert

My husband and I are so thrilled with the services that we received from Justin! We booked him about a year before our wedding and he set up an initial meeting with us pretty quickly so that we were able to talk about our vision for the day and go over some details. Justin was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He had never done an event at our venue before so I put him in contact with our venue coordinator and he took care of going over some things with her behind the scenes. As our day got closer, Justin was always available by email to answer any questions we had. We had another meeting with him closer to the day to review all of the details. He was able to give us advice on things like songs for the bridal party to walk down the aisle to, as well as what order to do the speeches. While we did have a day-of coordinator who came with our venue, Justin was able to act as a coordinator of sorts as well, and would be extremely helpful and valuable for anyone who did not have a day-of coordinator. He provided the sound system and music for our ceremony and worked with our officiant to make sure she was comfortable with the mic. He emailed our MOH and best men and offered to print copies of their speeches for them to have on hand. Most important, Justin listened to our requests of what kind of music we wanted and was able to develop a playlist that reflected our tastes and kept people on the dance floor all night! He did all of this solo, as his assistant had to cancel the morning of the wedding, due to his daughter being ill. Another awesome surprise was that Justin took some photos and short video clips with his phone throughout the day and emailed us at 8:30 am the morning after the wedding with a great video montage that he edited and set to music. Highly recommend Justin’s services!

Now that our wedding day has passed (almost a month and a half ago) and we have settled into a married life, we have finally found the time to review our amazing DJ! We have nothing but blissful memories of our day, and we have Justin to thank for that! He was attentive and professional throughout the whole process, paying special attention to our requests. He had multiple meetings with us before our wedding making us feel secure for our big day. On the day we instantly did not have to worry, it was obvious that Justin has been doing this a long time and knows what he is doing. Everything ran smoothly from ceremony to the last dance. He walked us through out cake cutting, which was super fun! When it came to dancing the floor was PACKED, he was able to blend the music which fitted our crowd of different ages. Not once was there a lull or break in the music. All our guests were so impressed and we were beyond happy with his service. Highly recommend to anyone looking to make their wedding magical, he went above and beyond for us, thank you Justin!

Disappointing overall experience. We had an hour and half long meeting with Justin before our wedding and he was very nice and professional. We discussed songs that we wanted played, physically walked through the venue (a family residence), reviewed the reception layout, and also discussed our desire to do an acknowledgement of our guests in the armed forces and police/fire (10 guests in total out of 79). Everything seemed on track, but went straight out the window the day of. Most disappointingly, there was no acknowledgment of service members during our wedding, which was really important to us. To address the issue, rather than go straight to a negative review, we decided to speak directly with Justin about this a few weeks after our wedding. Justin responded that no announcement was made because he felt that his position was isolated from the main dining area and people couldn’t hear him well (we had an open air dance floor just outside the tent). He then proceeded to say that “if had he known the setup...he would have brought a secondary system to properly run dinner.” This is a very irritating response. Justin was physically present when we decided where the dance floor would be located and he assured us that it was fine and there would be no issues. We even measured out the space to make sure there was sufficient room for his equipment. To claim, after failing to make a really important announcement at our wedding, that he was unaware of the setup and unprepared is unacceptable. Furthermore, to make that decision on his own without informing us or our day of coordinator is mind blowing. On another frustrating note, as music lovers, we prepared a list of songs that we wanted played at our wedding, which was made with the help of our guests on their RSVP cards. I would say that only about 20% of these songs were actually played. In response, Justin said “it’s an important part of my role as the DJ to play as many of the songs requested by the couple during both the ceremony and the reception. However, I must also use my discretion in order for guests to have the best time possible.” Here, Justin is saying he literally ignored our song requests, as the couple getting married and paying him, because he’s in a better position to know what people want to hear. Please note that we were requesting really upbeat songs that would fit perfectly at a reception and that we knew were important to our guests, so we can’t figure out why they were ignored. It’s a total bummer to look back on your wedding day and remember that most of our favorite songs were never played by the DJ. There are a number of other frustrating things that happened (or didn’t happen), like our request to have our families join us halfway through our first dance. At the end of the day, Justin was not the DJ for us and we’re bummed out by his lack of acknowledgement once we addressed these issues directly with him. Positive note - the rest of our wedding and vendors were awesome! Still had a great day.

DJ Justin Gilbert was great to work with from beginning to end of our wedding planning process. He came as a recommendation from our venue coordinator and we’re so glad we went with him. Everything went smooth and I cannot remember a time where there was not someone on the dance floor. He seemed to provide a mix that everyone would like from your traditional stuff to today’s hits type stuff. In the week leading up to the wedding, he actually sat down with us in person to walk through everything we wanted him to play in terms of intros, first dances, ceremony, etc. It was nice to get that all sorted out in person beforehand. I definitely recommend him for anyone’s wedding needs!

Justin was a true professional and so great to work with from start to finish. My husband and I could tell from our initial conversation that our music and MCing would be in great hands and that was only reinforced when we met in person for our planning session. We were wary that our guests wouldn’t be big dancers, but Justin was (somehow!!) able to please all generations and host an AMAZING party. I highly recommend him!!

From the very first time we talked to Justin over the phone, we knew he was going to be a perfect match for us. Justin was super organized and on the ball with everything. Anytime we asked him for recommendations or help in some area he was ready with suggestions, helpful documents, etc. Before the wedding we had a sit down to discuss songs that we wanted for each important part of the reception (eg. Entrances, first Dance, cake cutting, etc.), song on the “DO NOT PLAY” list, songs on the “MUST PLAY” list, etc. At our reception, it was SUPER hot. Like 94° with 100000% humidity. Justin never let the energy fall, played a great mix of music and kept people on the dance floor until the party came to a close. His group shot suggestion is one of our absolute favorites photos of the day, he came prepared with backup microphones, provided the uplighting for us and killed it with the music. Everyone commented on how great he was and my mother was super impressed, too. She said she would absolutely hire him again in the future. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ highly recommend Justin!!

Justin was amazing! He’s so organized, thought of everything, and was great at avoiding the unwanted speeches. The music was awesome throughout the night. He kept our wedding going despite our vendor being incredibly warm inside. Everyone danced all night. I would highly recommend him!

Justin was everything we wanted and more! From the first time we met to go over the wedding essentials to the very last song of our wedding, Justin made sure to nail every single detail! He is very organized, and did all that he could to make the night special for us. His music selection is great for any age group, and he kept the energy and the fun rolling throughout our wedding. We still find it hard to express just how thankful we are for all that DJ Justin Gilbert did to make our wedding everything that we dreamed of. From the first planning conversation to the in person meetings, DJ Justin always made us feel so at ease with his professionalism and exceptional attention to detail. He consistently went above and beyond, typing up notes based on our conversations and proactively meeting with our vendors to ensure that every detail was in place before our event. On the day of, DJ Justin and his assistant were so prepared and engaged with us, our vendors, and our guests. Everyone raved about how much fun they had at the wedding (thanks to DJ Justin) and our vendors all wanted his information so they could work with him again! Thank you for making our wedding so incredible, Justin – we couldn’t be happier with our choice of hiring you as our DJ!

Justin is amazing. I highly recommend his company. Every single email I sent him was responded to quickly (there were probally hundreds!), he had our party wild and going before we were even introduced into our room. Just spent hours with us planning our wedding and promised us that the day of our wedding would be smooth. It wasn't 'smooth', it was flawless!!!! At no point was there a lack of music or direction. Justin is probally one of the best MCs you can hire and we are so glad we spent the extra money on him.

We hired Justin to Dj our wedding and reception. My dad made a comment to me as he was lining us all up to be introduced that I made the right decision. Needless to say, we did. Justin he people dancing before dancing started and had our guests asking about him all night.

Justin was fantastic! He paid attention to every little detail and as a result our wedding ran super smoothly. We did not want an annoying DJ who played games or ask our guests to do things they didn't want to do. Justin is not this guy. He was very well spoken and knew what to say and when to say it! We knew from the moment we heard him on the mic we made the right choice for our big day!

Great DJ and even better MC! Justin is one of the best DJs in the area. He coordinates are whole event and had everything running smoothly throughout the event. One of our words we choose to describe our wedding with Justin was memorable. Justin certainly made our evening memorable!!!!

Best Wedding DJ we have ever heard. We knew that we hired a professional when we sat down to plan. Justin's attention to detail was like no other person we spoke with. My husband and I found Justin online simply through a google search. Upon meeting him for our initial consulation we know immediatley that he was different that some of the larger DJ companies we spoke with in the Windham/Londonderry area. First, Justin had ideas taht were based around what we visioned for our wedding. His precision to detail was incredible. On the day of our wedding we knew that we had made the right decision before dancing begin. He had our guests in applauding, singing, and having the times of their lives. I am so glad that we paid good money for a great DJ. I have been to weddings where the DJ was terrible and nobody danced. With Justin that won't even be a possiblility. He knows what he is doing. Justin & Sarah were amazing! We knew that we had to spend good money on a DJ because my husband and I have been to many weddings where the DJ was not good. Justin paid close attention to every detail or question we asked. He responded to hundreds of emails within the hour and was on the phone with us countless times helping us plan our wedding. It is true the DJ does much more than play the music. Justin spent hours working with us to make our day perfect! On our wedding day he had our dance floor packed and kept guests wanting more! No cheese DJ! Justin was awesome. He kept the dance floor packed all night long. Guests told us that he mingled with them during cocktail hour to get to know them and they were super impressed. He had everyone singing at dinner and dacning the night away. Glad we invested money in a great DJ it totally made our reception. Spend the money hire Justin!

Justin was wonderful. He is extremley professional and organized. He knew how to keep our guests entertained and dancing. It's worth mentioning that our venue coordinator said he was one of the best DJ's she ever worked with. His organization and attention to detail made our wedding unforgetable. A-W-E-S-O-M-E DJ! Justin was our first choice out of the many DJs we intervewed. He stood out to us right away. Justin was extremley professional and anwsered thousands of emails containing questions about our special day. He got our dance floor packed from the first song and kept our guests dancing. People complemented us on our DJ selection and we are so happy we went with Justin!

We accidentally stumbled upon Justin when googling for DJs. It was a match made in heaven! This DJ was incredible. Justin runs his business with his wife. They are a husband and wife team. This alone reassured us we picked the right guy to handle our affairs! They provided consolation for every part of our wedding! They both answered every question we had and also were incredible on the day of our wedding! They even gave us a card in our gift box :) How thoughtful!

I have nothing but great things to say about DJ Justin Gilbert. My husband and I have recently gotten married. We had everything planned, but unfortunately our "fantastic" plans fell through with a DJ canceling last minute. We found DJ Gilbert, whom was very accommodating! He managed to figure out everything we loved in just one meeting. Our wedding was perfect! Our friends and family danced and laughed till the lights were turned on and everyone sent on their way.
