I had an absolutely horrible experience with DJ Rocky, and he added unnecessary stress to what was supposed to be the happiest weekend of my life. Things started off well when I initially booked him. He was responsive, would set up calls to discuss details, and seemed invested in making my day special. However, after the booking, everything went downhill fast.
He became completely unresponsive and claimed he was too busy with multiple back-to-back events to have a phone call to review my wedding timeline. Despite this, I sent him a very detailed timeline weeks in advance, but he waited until the last minute to bring up several issues that were completely unnecessary and completely unprofessional. To make matters worse, he even emailed me threatening to cut time off our event right before the ceremony, which was incredibly frustrating and added unnecessary stress in the final days leading up to the wedding.
On the day of the wedding, the problems only got worse. His team manager was incredibly rude and disrespectful to my wedding planner, which caused a lot of tension and stress. My wedding planner even told me that she had never encountered such hostility and unprofessionalism from any vendor before, which speaks volumes about the level of customer service DJ Rocky provides.
As for the music, he completely messed up our entrance songs. There were delays in the timeline, which affected the flow of the evening. On top of that, the lighting he brought was subpar and poorly executed—it was backlit and didn’t enhance the ambiance like we had discussed. The overall vibe felt rushed and chaotic, and his lack of attention to detail made it even worse.
Dealing with DJ Rocky was incredibly stressful from start to finish. If you care about having a smooth, enjoyable experience and top-notch service for your big day, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. There are plenty of other talented and professional DJs out there who will treat you with respect and actually deliver on what they promise.
DJ Rocky, he can actually make you feel even more stressed out with how unorganized he is. For starters he can't retain ANYTHING you tell him. You'll continuously have to go over events details, times, locations, etc even after you've explained to him 10x! He acts like he's doing you a favor by reaching out to other vendors, tells you everything is going to be "all good" "i'll take care of it" but he just irritates other vendors in the process and then three-way calls you with those vendors to confirm basic information. He booked his airline tickets with baggage fees when he could have booked Southwest (without consultation), wanted to come in a full day early (completely unnecessary) all on our dime. He couldn't even handle booking a truck for the Baraat on his own. WHY? He claimed he couldn't find his drivers license. Which means he probably didn't have one. He wanted to hire another local DJ to set up equipment. WHY? 3 days before the wedding I sat down with him to go over all the songs we wanted played for the Baraat, Wedding, Reception. He requested us to rent two mixers for the events, He barely mixed anything for the Baraat, in fact he was playing full songs. He completely disregarded our requests and played whatever he wanted to play. This guy really wasn't worth the time or aggravation he caused, the music could have been much better if he had just played our requests. I can't recommend DJ Rocky.
DJ Rocky is AMAZING! I'm still getting compliments and comments about the music. We are from Miami so it was a lot of coordination over email and phone but he made it super easy! He totally got the feel and vibe we wanted AND he had our friends and family dancing all night long! There is absolutely nothing to worry about. He will not let you down! It was all so perfect! I definitely recommend him!

DJ Rocky is the master entertainer. He is the premium brand in DJs. We chose Rocky for our wedding in Miami, FL and can honesty say he exceeded any and all expectations! He was professional, thoughtful, organized, energetic, and creative. He has a special ability to connect with and energize both small and large audiences through his mic and music. He strived to make our wedding weekend unique and truly delivered that when he brought in a professional percussionist (playing tabla and dhol), that fused with the saxophone player from The Roots of NYC. All my wedding guests remember DJ Rocky. He left a lasting impression on everything. He truly made our wedding weekend! If you've come this far to considering Rocky, don't think twice. He is every bit worth it, for your wedding event!
Rocky did a fabulous job for our wedding weekend. He was involved from the get go and took personal interest in our wedding planning, which we really appreciated. Rocky was calm and composed and took all our last minute song requests without a fuss. He has a vibrant personality and his abundant energy instantly transfers to the crowd. He was very professional in managing both of our events and there were no complaints with any his setup. He has that special talent in getting the crowd bounce to his tunes. He also went out of his way to get a Dhol player for events adding a Desi tadka to the upbeat music. We would recommend those looking for a DJ to have a sit down consultation with DJ Rocky first before making a selection. You will not be disappointed.
Dj Rocky is nothing but LOVE and HAPPINESS!!! He DJ'd at my cousins wedding and there was so much energy !!!!!! We didn't want to leave the dance floor all night........I'll be getting married soon and I will definitely be hiring Rocky!!!!!!
Rocky deejayed my sisters wedding in Cancun. I was very impressed with his professionalism. Rocky became very friendly with the staff and management. We didn't have to worry about any aspect of entertainment. He handled everything and the event the went very smoothly. Rocky is a true artist and it shows in his work.. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to have a great event :)...
DJ Rocky was one of the best things about my wedding - he kept people on the dance floor partying till we got kicked out! Highly recommended for Indian weddings where you want to keep the party high energy!
Rocky did an awesome job at my wedding. It was two nights and people danced until well after midnight on both nights. On the second night, the dancefloor was packed until 2am, when the lights finally came on. The music was awesome, and he really knows how to get the crowd up. Everyone had a blast. I highly recommend him for any event.
