dinner, had epic and creative transitions, and nailed the overall flow of music through the night. In addition to his DJ skills, we loved his approach leading up to the event. He had a nifty app that let my wife and I input all the songs we love (and don't love) and organize them by events and genres. We'd put notes in the apps of what songs we for sure wanted at a specific time, vs then just giving him a pool of our favorite music and letting him have free rein. He respectfully nailed the requests we specifically asked for and then blew our minds with what he did with the rest. It really felt like he immersed himself in our music selection and delivered a jam-packed set that flowed well and had everyone dancing all night. His uplighting kit was also a great add to the magic. People kept asking us who the DJ was and where we found him! On top of all that, he's great to work with and is super organized and respectful. Seth is such a versatile and talented DJ that I recommend him for any style wedding.

hear that you weren’t satisfied with how I handled your family’s song requests. I did play all 25 of the songs that you and Elizabeth requested in the music planning app you mentioned, and I did accommodate the majority of the songs that were requested by your guests the day of your wedding. There were a few guest requests that I left out, but I assure you that it wasn’t because I was distracted. If I choose not to play a guest’s song request, it’s usually for 1 of 2 reasons: 1) The song doesn’t fit the guidelines that you gave me for the music. For example, you mentioned that you weren’t big fans of rap and hip hop and that you wanted me to limit it. So, I likely turned down a few requests for rap and hip hop. 2) I believe the song will empty the dance floor. For example, I remember a specific instance at your wedding where your guests were dancing to upbeat Top 40 music. One of your relatives walked up and requested a song that was too mellow to dance to. If I played the relative’s request, I would have made them happy, but I would have upset all of your other guests who were already dancing and having fun. On top of that, you requested Top 40 and traditional Mexican dance music for the dancing portion of the evening, so the relative’s request didn’t even fit your vision for the wedding. Ultimately, what I’m trying to communicate is that I made every call I did with the intention of creating the best possible experience for you and Elizabeth. I may have turned down a few guest requests, but your family and friends did dance and have fun for the entire night. Several of your family members even wanted to pay me to stay for an extra hour at the end. And, as I mentioned before, I did play all of your song requests and the majority of your guests’ requests. I sincerely apologize if this was not the right approach. If I had known ahead of time that you wanted me to play every guest request, I would have as well. Please feel free to call or email me if there’s anything I can do to make this right. Regardless, I hope you and Elizabeth have been well, and wish both of you the best with everything moving forward.

f fluctuating demands throughout planning and even on the day of, but Seth remained patient and flexible with me as we made changes to our reception schedule and music. My family is also Vietnamese and Seth played a great set during that included American and Vietnamese music. During the open dance, Seth played an amazing set that kept my friends and I on the dance floor all night. He had amazing transitions between songs and really created a great atmosphere all night. He seamlessly incorporated all my favorite genres - hip hop, r&b, edm and pop. Not only was the music fantastic, but so was the lighting throughout the reception. The lighting during dinner was romantic and during dancing was fun and exciting. I really appreciated Seth’s professional opinion and input in choosing the right lighting to create the desired mood throughout the reception. My husband and I, along with our guests, also absolutely loved Seth’s photobooth. We had over 600 pictures at the end of the night. Guests said that it was the best photobooth that they’ve experienced at a wedding. They loved that they could do boomerangs and videos too. All in all, I can’t recommend Seth enough. He was kind, patient and professional throughout the planning process. He was also accommodating and so helpful when my husband and I were lost and felt like we had no idea what to do. ng process incredibly simple. One important thing we discussed with Seth was the length of each song - we felt that some wedding DJs play songs for way too long, to the point that people get bored. Seth was intentional with his choices and considerate of how the crowd on the dance floor was feeling. Although our wedding day was hit by an unexpected rainstorm, Seth rolled with it and provided a soundtrack for the ages as we all danced in the rain. There were dozens of guests who came up to us and told us how much they enjoyed the music. If you are looking for a DJ for your next event, you need to give Seth a call!

idn’t think about from song choices and genres during the ceremony and cocktail hour to the announcements and just overall flow of the event. He has an incredible app where you enter all your song choices and it asks you all these questions that are super helpful. And of course Seth killed the dance floor. We wanted high energy the whole time. Disco/lighter music at the beginning transitioning into harder party hip hop/ rap later into the evening. He did this perfectly and the way he transitioned the songs into each other made it so that there was never a dull moment on that dance floor. Seth is so organized, kind and an amazing DJ. Fun, professional, and a genuinely nice guy, Seth BROUGHT it. And his sound system is KILLER. We also chose to add on uplighting and it was incredibly worth it to keep the vibes going strong. perfect wedding day since she was a child and as a master procrastinator started planning our 190 person event just 7 weeks in advance, so we had to ensure we made solid selections with our vendors. I originally was steered towards a reputable large DJ company, but our amazing photographer Sam Sean (and great friend as well) referred us to DJ Seth Vital. At first I was hesitant to book a lesser known and likely less experienced DJ...but after countless emails from me asking questions about uplights, speaker models, wireless mic distances, music selection, and comparing prices to the large DJ company I felt comfortable enough to book with DJ Seth. We were extremely pleased with DJ Seth (and his large head of hair!) on our special day. I actually wanted to surprise my wife with a personal song, and DJ Seth met me privately before my wedding to work out the details. His communication was on point, and he was never pushy or impatient with us. He would gently remind us to complete tasks in order for him to prepare the music for our special day, and also helped me set up a slide show to entertain our guests. Support smaller businesses and take a chance with an individual out there who is out there grinding it out and working hard--during a period of time when many individuals are at home with no motivation. You may just be the motivation and inspiration someone needs to think, dream, and become bigger in life than they could imagine. well worth it. Seth did a great job and was very attentive throughout the whole process. Seth was extremely professional and made sure that he knew what we wanted and helped us put together the timeline for the wedding and reception. As a result of a family member being late, the wedding did not start on time, and we were running behind. Seth did a great job of getting us back on schedule by accelerating some of the events on the timeline. Seth made sure all our sound needs during the wedding, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception were taken care and did not draw attention to himself. A lot of the DJs that we looked at, including the preferred DJs for our venue, appeared to be loud, drew attention to themselves, and ran the reception as if it was a nightclub. This was not what we wanted which is why we chose to go with Seth. We had a very diverse guest list including kids, college aged, young adults, those that were older, and some who were Spanish speaking. It was important to us that the music would appeal to this diverse age range and not have any foul language. Seth did a great job with the music selection and the dance floor was filled from the time dancing started until the conclusion of the reception. After the wedding we had so many people get in touch with us and let us know how great the wedding was and how much fun they had. I can honestly say that the wedding would not have been as good as it was without Seth. We could not have been happier with the service that Seth provided and we will definitely use him again in the future.

(we definitely were not on track otherwise with that haha). The app he uses gave my husband and I the ability to put in as much (or little) effort as we wanted in regards to our playlists, and he just made it amazing. Anyone you ask from our wedding, had a blast. The photos and videos that I have from after dinner and whatnot, the dance floor is packed and there’s not a person in their seat. I’ve repeatedly had people ask for our playlist for their events now as well. Everything ran smoothly day of thanks to his MC’ing and directing a smooth transition from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. We can’t be more thankful to have found him, and that we were able to book him! Also, photo booth, HUGEEE plus. He customized our photos to match our design and it was awesome. I do have to say that we didn’t get as many people in it as I would have expected, but that’s because everyone was having too much fun dancing that they didn’t realize it was there. There’s no better feeling than hearing everyone saying how much fun they had at your wedding, and how they’ve never had such a great time dancing at a wedding. We cannot recommend Seth enough!!

To be honest, he sold me from the very first introductory meeting when he had a powerpoint presentation to share, and then locked it in with my husband when he showed us the app that we would be using to share our music selections. Music is such a critical component of a party, and the one thing we were certain of was that we wanted everyone to have an amazing time and dance the night away. He definitely delivered on our request for pop music, blending in hit after hit, and got a rousing chant for an encore at the end of the night! We didn't know much about uplighting, but since it came with our package (plus he upgraded us with some fancier lights) we went with it - and looking back at the photos, it truly helped set the mood for the entire party. One slightly different request we had was met with ease - we had some cultural dancers during the reception who had their own music track, and Seth was so accommodating. He also provided the sound system for the string quartet that we hired to play during the ceremony; since it was outdoors, it was nice to have them amplified so they weren't drowned out by the ambient noise. We are so thankful to Seth for helping us throw the best party of our lives! HIGHLY recommend!

He gives very educated recommendations if you're not sure what songs to choose. We chose to have the photo booth at our wedding too, and it was such a big hit. It was super user friendly and made for a great playlist that really encompassed who we are as a couple. He had such a good sense of the mood of the party and played the perfect music to keep people dancing and having tons of fun. He was likeable but did not overly insert himself as I've seen other DJs do at weddings. Even more than that, we had some severe issues with our wedding coordinator. In spite of the fact that Seth is literally one of the nicest people you'll meet, he was able to stand up for us and himself to her when she was wrong and doing things that would jeopardize the flow of the wedding. He dealt with issues without stressing out the bride and groom. We are so happy we hired him.

nd a half it was a sad moment. For me as a bride he was like my best friend I vent to and basically took my coordinator role. He calmed me when this went south (postponement of the wedding and my original coordinator dropped out a month left of the wedding) and for my husband... he vibes with Seth through Seth's music. My husband is SO PICKY with our wants and needs as a DJ and Seth swept him away just by listening to his mixes. My husband says his transitions from song to song is smooth and song selections are on point. Then after taking to him we were sold! The most genuine person you will ever meet, he does this for the love of music and it shows. He works hard to make it easy for you, is on top of things, responsive to all e-mails, and takes his time. He does so much more for your buck and we made sure he knew that! Also we have been coordinating everything out of state, so he takes the time to make sure he can fit himself in my almost impossible work/life schedule (working out of the house for more than 12+ hrs) we I truly appreciate. So in short BOOK HIM! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME INQUIRING SOMEONE ELSE because if I could (because we live out of state) I would book him over and over again! What I really need him to do is live here in LV so I can book him over and over again!
