What You Should Know
East Hampton Point calculates cost on a per person basis and prices will vary by the time of day and year—an evening reception during popular wedding months will be more expensive than a daytime soiree during the off-season. The cost of venue rental is subject to standard tax and service fees and includes basics and luxuries, from catering to linens.
East Hampton Point offers couples an all-inclusive reception, beginning with a cocktail hour that features both passed and buffet appetizers. Following cocktail hour, guests enjoy the bride and groom's pick of a traditional seated dinner or a buffet dinner. Some couples also opt for a cocktail-style affair with food stations throughout the reception hall. Whatever the style of the meal, the venue's cuisine is based on fresh fish and local produce. A custom-designed wedding cake or choice of dessert station rounds out the culinary offerings, eliminating the need to hire an outside baker.
Headed by a general manager to oversee your wedding day, the event staff pays scrupulous attention to details of each and every wedding, helping couples with as much or as little as they desire. The venue is also happy to recommend outside vendors to couples to ensure the success of their big day.
For couples who want to make a day into a weekend, the resort can also hosts a number of other events to complete the wedding experience. Start the weekend with a rehearsal dinner on site and finish it with a farewell brunch. East Hampton Point offers luxurious overnight accommodations for guests who may be arriving from out of town.
Guests staying at East Hampton Point can take advantage of the resort's numerous amenities including:

Best Wedding Weekend at East Hampton Point!!Reviewed on 10/07/2015 Sarah D
I recently got married on Saturday, October 3 2015 at East Hampton Point and don't know where to begin with this review as it was the BEST weekend of our lives! I worked with Michael Capoferri, the General Manager at EHP for the past year and he was fantastic! They hosted us at the resort and we had our ceremony (upstairs balcony), reception (downstairs bar and patio) and after-party (inside bar) as well as Brunch the next day there. The venue itself is gorgeous and while we had bits of Hurricane Joaquin, the weekend far exceeded our expectations and we still enjoyed the beautiful, waterfront views topped off with a surprise backdrop of Billy Joel's boat, which was docked at the Marina! We looked at many properties out east while venue shopping a year ago and fell in love with EHP immediately. The property itself is gorgeous with water/marina views, tree lined roads and picturesque cottages. We had our family and bridal party stay on-site at the hotel and got ready there too. The cottages are beautifully designed, modern and luxurious and provided for many "after after parties" all weekend! Michael, the GM, did not miss a beat throughout this year of planning and on the weekend of. He was extremely kind and made sure everything was top notch from accommodations, to food, service, every detail. He was extremely responsive during the planning process and brought in his team that included Annie, our on-site coordinator. Annie is sweet and thorough and had many great ideas. She delivered on all we needed, I can't thank both of them enough! The staff was also exceptional and have worked at the venue for years'. They made sure there was an abundance of food/drinks and that all food came out in a timely fashion. On to the food, Chef Thomas, the resort Chef, did an awesome job and received rave reviews from our guests! We did the raw bar, sushi bar, carving station, and several other passed appetizers. Then onto dinner we did a salad or crab cakes (to die for) and offered filet mignon, fish and a mushroom truffle risotto. The steak was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and medium rare inside! The rest of the food was also stellar. Despite the cold weather and last minute "hurricane" high winds and temperature drop, EHP went above and beyond to make our special weekend the best. I personally like the look of the venue because it's outside on a terrace where you don't have to rent a tent (as many of the other venues out east require for large parties). In the event of bad weather, they are able to drop their clear flaps (still giving you the opportunity to see the view and keeping it warm) and added heat lamps as well. They also have a built in, expandable dance floor outside under the terrace and two mirrored bars (one outside and one in the inside bar). The inside bar has an old sailboat inside of it too. If you are looking for a spectacular venue or hotel, I would give EHP 10 stars. Michael and his team treat you like family and we are so lucky to have had our wedding weekend at EHP!
Review for East Hampton PointReviewed on 8/18/2007 RACHEL G
Cocktails were served out on the deck, overlooking the marina and dinner was served as the sun went down. The food was just incredible, we still get compliments on it two years later and the ambiance was the exact combination of casual elegance that we wanted for our wedding.;The special events manager (at the time) was very uneven. She had come highly recommended, but she was flighty, hard to reach at times, and most importantly got our cake wrong. On-site she was very good at her job, but up until that point we had not been very impressed.
My husband and I got married on June 26th at EHP and I don't even know where to begin. It was the absolute best day EVER. Our guests cannot stop raving about the day, and we cannot stop talking about how perfect everything went. Michael and Annie were amazing throughout the entire process and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and that we were 100% satisfied with everything - from when we first starting the planning to the very end of the wedding. The food was amazing. We received numerous of compliments from our guests about the food and how accommodating the staff was with everything, including food allergies. We took the boat into cocktail hour and had so much fun. It was a unique way to make an entrance! I cannot say enough about the location, staff, hotel and venue. I highly, highly, highly recommend looking at EHP for a wedding or event!
Very upset. My Fiance and I traveled from California and had set up an appointment 2 weeks prior. When we arrived after the 2 hour drive to get there, we were told that the person we were to have our appointment with was not available and was"in meetings" , we were asked to reschedule but that was not possible as we were headed back home the following day. Nobody even offered to show us around at a minimum. Beware if you have an appointment here they may not care enough about your event to honor appointments.
