at overlooked the bar and parts of the restaurant and we were having so much fun that everyone was coming over from these areas to check out what was going on. Elegant Events also made sure that all of my personal likes were catered to such as wine, food and party gifts. But the best idea was bringing the Three Tenors to at first act as waiters and offer some laughs but to then sing the night away. They were great the night was a great success. The day of the wedding we had to make a major change from an outdoor ceremony to an indoor ceremony. Most every detail had to be changed and EE handled it effortlessly. Everything was perfect and we had the most beautiful ceremony. As the bride, my expectations were exceeded. I was given one on one care that EE had provided. Some more memorable details included making sure the band members wore our wedding colors, the custom ordered linens that matched our wedding colors and design elements, and the flower arrangements that best went with our contemporary theme. Not to mention, Maureen is very organized; providing us with a binder already tabbed for important categories, frequent emails, phone calls and meetings to help keep us on track and closer to the wedding she also sent ceremony and reception timelines to each vendor. These timelines were extremely detailed with arrival times, table descriptions, specific information about dinner and much more. All of the vendors we hired commented about how they love working with Maureen, who makes their jobs easier and allows the event to run smoothly - we couldn't agree more! When we finally saw the final product we were amazed! It was beautiful and much more than we could have ever imagined! Many people went as far as saying that our wedding should be in a magazine. Maureen made our special day into a truly unforgettable one. We will be forever grateful for everything Maureen and her staff at Elegant Events did for us! Even with the threat of rain, they all kept their cool and made minor adjustments so that our event would run smoothly in case the unthinkable occurred! m the instant I told her I was engaged to the final moment of our reception, Maureen guided me through every detail of our wedding day with class, grace, and generosity. Leading up to the wedding, Maureen provided me with carefully created planning worksheets that we worked on together to hash out the details of both the ceremony and reception. Alone, these would have been daunting, but Maureen's patience and guidance in completing them made detail work painless. She thinks of absolutely everything! I know my guests were especially thankful for all of her special touches. Maureen's incredible organization and attention to detail allowed me to little-by-little begin to visualize my wedding day. It was as if, over the months that we worked together, she was carefully sketching out that day dream I had failed to create for myself, and then, toward the final phases, painting her sketch with vibrant colors and adding animation. By the time I arrived in my home town for our wedding weekend, I was confident and excited, knowing that I was in expert hands. Leading up to the ceremony on the day of the wedding, I was more relaxed than ever. After talking to various people who helped Maureen prepare for the reception on the day of, I know that she somehow managed to be everywhere at seemingly the same time and have everything completely under control. This continued when the ceremony began. I will never forget walking down the sidewalk to the chapel, seeing Maureen standing at the doors with a warm smile on her face, and feeling completely reassured that everything was as it should be. I don't know how she got it all done, but there she was! The best surprise of all was walking into the reception. Although I was originally strongly opposed to having a tent, the forecast predicted severe thunderstorms later in the evening. Maureen promised we could still achieve a gorgeous natural feel even with a tent, so I agreed. When we arrived at the reception site, the fruit of Maureen's efforts really were a complete surprise. My husband, our wedding party, and I strolled down a quarter mile trail alongside a creek to reach the reception. At one point, we stopped to take a picture by the creek, and both my husband and I caught a glimpse of the tent up ahead. We had a moment of complete awe...it was absolutely magical. Pictures taken of us entering the reception perfectly capture our sentiment; we look surprised and elated. The atmosphere that Maureen created at the reception was vibrant and full of life and celebration. The energy was infectious, and Maureen had artfully incorporated our personalities in every detail. Though many people told us that our night would be a blur and we wouldn't even have time to enjoy ourselves, I can say with 100% certainty that this was not our experience. Maureen had everything so carefully planned that my husband and I didn't have to think about anything other than dancing the night away with our friends and family. Nothing felt rushed, and we all had a blast. From start to finish, our wedding was truly an unforgettable event for everyone. I will be forever grateful to Maureen for turning my patchy, vague dream of a wedding into a beautiful, elegantly rustic, and magical event.

From the very beginning Maureen's incredible consideration of every detail large and minute, and her ever evolving timeline kept us focused and on-track. The focus didn't stop with us-she helped everyone involved, including the church appointed wedding coordinators as we were lining up to enter the church (she really knew more than they did.) When it was obvious two days before the that we'd have to use a tent, my sweet daughter was devastated. Maureen and Steve worked first on calming her down (yes they are the best counselors) and then together they reorganized the entire setup. Maureen dealt with Richard, our lighting magician, to come up with a new plan on the day of the wedding, and together they truly created magic. And - the bride was delighted! What more could anyone ask for? The entire event was filled with love and joy-that's not something you can put a price on. Maureen and Elegant Events, thank you!

Through the year long planning process, Maureen kept in touch with me on a regular basis and when things suddenly changed, (which they often do in planning a wedding!), she was cool, calm, and collected and found a different way to make things come together perfectly! I truly could not have asked for a better coordinator. I went into this process blind and I felt very comfortable letting her guide me through it. She has many outstanding vendors that she works with or that she can recommend, but she is also very open to using new vendors. Her assistants are just as amazing as she is and also were very helpful in all tasks related to my wedding. If it hadn't been for Maureen, my wedding day just would not have been the same. She has lots of experience at what she does and it shows! My fairytale wedding came true because of her!

The wedding took place in Uvalde which has extemely limited opportunities for any kind of an event much less an elegant wedding. But with Maureen's firm, organized but loving guidance we moved forward toward the December wedding of my daughter's dreams. Maureen, her assistant & the vendors she guided us to transformed a very old building into the most beautiful reception site this town or any place has ever seen. I had one guest who originated from Europe who came to me telling me he had never been to such a wonderful event. books. I found these to be somewhat helpful, but too simplistic to address the minutia of details, time lines and appointments that are involved in planning a wedding. Maureen started right away, setting up appointments, with whom ever we wanted to meet. She also attended most of these meetings. As we refined our plans, Maureen was flexible and kept up with all the details. While Maureen offered many tried and true connections for all aspects of the wedding details, when my daughter decided to instead, design and source her own paper goods over the internet, Maureen was more than happy to serve in an advisory role. I take a very detailed and organized approach with any project I work on. In the course of planning my daughters wedding, we decided to supply and design many of the elements for the decor of the reception space ourselves. After I packed and labeled the items, Maureen picked everything up from my house and displayed everything according to my specification. Because of this, I was able to relax and enjoy time with my daughter and our family during the weekend of the wedding. Maureen was a good match for my style and stayed on top of of all the details, even with all of the extra setup my daughter's wedding required. Beginning with the details of the wedding rehearsal, and continuing through the end of the reception, Maureen worked with us to have everything scheduled down to the minute. Then she and her staff walked us through all of the schedule on the day of the wedding. In the end, my daughter and her husband had a beautiful wedding and reception. We were delighted to provide a wonderful time for our guests. Maureen and Elegant Events were our very capable partners in accomplishing this.

She wore her name tag everyday illustrating her professionalism and had her very large binder complete with every wedding detail at every meeting.
