r getting ready room early and worked magic on myself, 4 bridesmaids and 2 moms! Everyone was pleased with their hair and makeup which looked natural and absolutely stunning. We also just had so much fun with them day of, they really loosened any nerves and got me excited and relaxed. Highly recommend these ladies!

onality is infectious and Ashley works wonders with hair. She even did a fabulous job on my sisters naturally curly hair (and answered my questions about it over text). If I had one critique or advice for another bride it would be to make sure you use all of the time you paid to have them there. They finished up our hair and makeup about an hour early and left. Although I was more than happy with the job they did, I found myself wishing they had stuck around for final touch ups. Overall, I can’t recommend these two more! Beautiful job and exactly what I wanted!

On the day of the wedding, they arrived on time, did makeup and hair for myself, 5 bridesmaids and 2 moms in record time, but they also never made us feel rushed, and everyone looked and felt amazing. I never thought I would be the type to cry because of my hair/makeup, but that's how beautiful they made me feel! Also, it was 90+ degrees and humid on my wedding day, and my hair and makeup stayed put from 10am until 11pm. I would HIGHLY recommend both Alex & Ashley!

Alex does great makeup and you will still feel like you— no cakey over done stuff! The air brush was a great option. All of my bridesmaids were all very pleased with the team. They also let my bridesmaids pay ahead of time which they loved to have as an option!

They were so nice to have on the morning of the wedding - they knew just how to calm nerves and told some get stories to keep everyone's mind at ease.

maids, and my mom and mother-in-law for our day. Going in for my trial I had some ideas for my hairstyle but no real direction for my makeup. After looking at the few pictures I had Ashley set to work on my hair and Elyza was able to walk me through deciding what my makeup look should be and made me feel so relaxed knowing we could tweak anything I wanted to change on the day of. In the end I felt so glamorous and knew I'd made a fantastic choice. I coordinated with Ashley a little ahead of my wedding to set what time we'd get started and ensure we were all ready in time for our photographer to take pictures. On the day of, they arrived and we got to work. It was so fun watching everyone selecting their styles they wanted. I didn't set a style for my bridesmaids, just telling them to pick a style that they felt their best in. I still can't get over how beautiful my sister's hair turned out, she looked like a 50's movie star with her bob haircut turned into beautiful curls. Everything went so smooth and we had a blast chatting with Ashley and Elyza all morning as they worked. I also have to say, Elyza's makeup work stayed put all day long through the July heat and sweat. I was so impressed and I felt beautiful all night long. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to any bride for her big day.

Knowing that they had been to the bridal suite at the Barns many times, made me feel so at ease on my wedding day. They were there and set up before I even arrived. When you get your hair/makeup done for your wedding you spend more of the day with these girls than anyone else and let me tell you they are the BEST! Easygoing, friendly, and complimentary to everyone. I have never felt more beautiful than when these two ladies went to work on my hair and makeup and my bridesmaids looked beyond incredible as well. They have amazing energy and really make you feel like you're the only bride/bridal party they have ever worked with. They were truly excited for me and I can't thank them enough for making me look PERFECTTTTTT!

Just talking to me for a bit, they got my vision 100% & in the first take, created my dream hair/makeup while making me feel like we were friends for years. I instantly fell in love with both of them. Flash forward to my wedding, they were at the venue before I arrived & both greeted me with a hug & smile (& some excitement screaming). They did a wonderful job with my girls, I had 7 bridesmaids & 2 mom hairdos & helped with my niece when she got her hairpiece in her hair. All the girls LOVED the way they looked thanks to them. It honestly felt like they were a part of the wedding party. After Alex did my makeup, I had a bit of a happiness breakdown & cried it all off, she calmed me down, held my hands, & made me feel so much better. Then re-did my makeup. lol Both the girls stayed for the ceremony, I insisted - I mean, they are my besties now - and then Alex stayed for HOURS longer, touching up my makeup/hair before every photo & each time I needed it. She even gave me water during the photos, made sure I ate, and kept the wedding party entertained & smiling throughout the long day. After the wedding, when I was praising Alex for staying so long & helping when she didn't need to, all my family/friends (& my husband) were shocked that she was the makeup artist & not the wedding planner. I would love to, nay, need to keep these two girls in my life forever. They are absolutely family now. Thank you both so much for making my wedding, & me, perfect for the best day of my life. 💖💖💖

Ashley and Alex came to my hotel room to do everyone’s hair and it felt like they were just one of the my girl friends there to spend the day with me! It was so casual yet professional. Ashley amazed me with how she was able to do everyone’s updo so quickly and beautifully! Not one bridesmaids hair fell out through the day! They asked me to show them pictures of different hair and make up ideas. They checked in with me as they worked. They even asked to hear my love story and played some of my favorite music. And this was just the trial! Most important of all, they made me feel so excited and so beautiful. After my trials, I decided to book Elegant Events for our wedding day. Ashley and Alex came with their team and made my morning so relaxing and fun! They are both so passionate about what they do, and it shows through and through. Beyond that, they are super talented. My hair was absolutely flawless! Ashley worked so hard to make sure each piece was exactly where it should be. It was super comfortable and stayed all day and night. And my makeup! For someone who had no idea what I wanted on my wedding day, Alex worked with me to find the perfect look! I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. And that is thanks to the team at Elegant Events. Even more than that, my mom and bridesmaids are still talking about how much fun they had getting ready for the wedding! Ashley and Alex truly went above and beyond. The night before, my grandmother had fallen and bumped her cheek in the shower.
