Our wedding night was truly magical, and so much of that is thanks to our amazing DJ, Thaddus. From the moment we met, he took the time to understand exactly what we wanted, and they went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. He seamlessly blended our favorite songs with crowd-pleasers, and the energy on the dance floor was incredible all night long! He read the room so well, and every transition was flawless. We can’t begin to express how much we enjoyed working with Wyatt throughout the entire planning process and especially on our wedding day! Wyatt was always responsive, professional, friendly and reliable. He clearly communicated the process and provided an easy to follow planning portal for us to work with. We also had the opportunity to make additional appointments outside of our standard check in calls throughout the planning process in case we needed to review anything or ask questions. He was open to collaborate creatively with us and brought our vision to life for our ceremony, dinner, and reception music. He even went the extra mile to create a custom mix for us for a first dance and worked persistently and enthusiastically until we were happy with the end result. We had the pleasure of working with DJ TSwag! We saw this company at a wedding expo and immediately got the vibes that they were top notch from the start. From signing on, there was constant communication via google meets, which made the planning experience a lot more personable and reassuring. The planning platform was great and organized, which helped our DJ get a good sense of what our music taste is. DJ TSwag was great at checking in and going over every detail we wanted incorporated into our big day. Even with all the planning that went into our wedding, there was some things that didn't go as planned (not his fault), but DJ TSwag didn't skip a beat (lol) and adapted on his feet to make everything smooth!! Our wedding day was an absolute blast and I can't thank DJ TSwag enough for his contribution on making the music for our day nothing short of awesome!!!! Kyle and Evan did an amazing job keeping the party going all night long! The dance floor was full from the first to the last song! They were flexible and extremely helpful! Our experience with DJ Romantics was fantastic. Wyatt was great to work with upfront; booking with their team was simple and the process was clear/transparent. I cannot say enough about Marshall, the DJ and acoustic guitarist who was on-site for our wedding. He was incredible -- flexible, attentive, and exceeded our expectations across the board. At one point, Marshall even asked us what we were drinking and brought us drinks from the bar. Went above and beyond to make this such a special event. Cannot rave enough!

Okay... This is about to be LONG but buckle up and read the whole thing because it is WORTH IT. First things first, I met Wyatt and Thaddeus at a Bridal Expo and from the moment I said I wanted "club vibes," Wyatt recommend Thaddeus. As we talked at the expo and I told Thaddeus my crazy ideas, he supported me and was just as excited, if not more excited, than me. I decided to get a package deal and added on 4 of their other services (cold sparks, dancing on the clouds, CO2 cannons, and the photo booth). BEST DECISION EVER. All of these elements were executed perfectly by Thaddeus, his assistant, and Mackenzie, who ran the photo booth for us. The entire planning process was so easy. The portal allows you to suggest songs, fill in information about you and your spouse, schedule meetings, make payments, and more. Thaddeus was always readily available when I requested a meeting and gave amazing suggestions for the songs we needed to select for entrances, parent dances, etc. He was always enthusiastic and made sure that I felt his excitement for our special day. Mackenzie also went out of her way to check in on me throughout the process and even sent pictures from other weddings so I could decide on a photo booth backdrop. When I first started the planning process online, the company was under their old name - “Dj Romantics.” Throughout my wedding planning process, they developed their new LLC “Empire State Events.” The transition? SEAMLESS. Wyatt sent clear emails and communicated the change so effectively. If I had any questions, Wyatt was sure to get back to me the same day, often within a few minutes. This goes to show the absolute professionalism and organization of this amazing company. I heard from over 20 people that my wedding was the “best wedding ever” and when I asked why, every person mentioned the music and the add-ons we had from Empire State Events. The CO2 cannons and cold sparks were big hits and the dancing on the clouds made for some stunning photographs. This team was always professional and we truly had so much fun working with them on our wedding day. When something went a little sideways and I had to change plans at the last minute, Thaddeus assured me we would work it out and Plan B ended up being the perfect solution. One of our favorite parts of the day was our private first dance at the top of the mountain. Thaddeus came to the top with us and set up his speaker. When he tested the speaker, we had a mini jam session and the photographer captured some of the most fun pictures of the entire day. This was a highlight for sure!! I can not say enough amazing things about the entire team at Empire State Events. They truly brought all of the fun and amazing vibes. They highly contributed to the best day of our lives and I look forward to working with them again for future events.

I can not say enough good things about Wyatt and Kyle and coming to the rescue of my recent wedding!!! These guys went above and beyond to make my husband's and my special day absolutely perfect!!!! Kyle did a FANTASTIC job in live mixing the day of and really making sure that we were happy. Wyatt and his team were absolutely amazing to work with! They are extremely organized in how they do business, from the planning portal to setting up calls. He wants to make sure his couples get exactly what they’re looking for and that the music played is personal to them, which I really appreciated! We were able to provide our own playlists for cocktail hour and dinner, but for dancing he knew just what to play to get everyone on the dance floor and made sure the night flowed seamlessly! All of our guests also loved the photobooth, we highly recommend adding it on! We could not thank them enough for going above and beyond for our day, they were the best!!!

We married on August 10th, 2024, and had Thaddeus/DJ Swag as our DJ. Most weddings I have had the privilege to attend their DJs tend to be over the top. I did not want my wedding music to sound like a radio DJ. Thaddeus and his team had multiple check-ins with me throughout the wedding process. Empire State Events paid close attention to the small details, which made my wedding run smoothly. Music was everything I wanted and imagined. For example, as my bridal party was walking down the aisle I got nervous because the song ended and a couple of people still needed to walk down the aisle. Thaddeus and his team made a smooth transition you couldn't even notice that the song ended. The attention to this small detail is a quality you need in a DJ. Hands down the best DJ team around. Their aesthetic is professional, fun, and fresh. Their equipment is up-to-date and modern. I had lots of compliments on how great the DJs and music were.

If you want to have an amazing wedding, you have to hire amazing vendors. Kyle and Cody from Empire State Events are just that and made our party pop! They really know how to cater to a multi-generational crowd while incorporating our requests - they keep things lively, know how to play to the room they're in, and are so accommodating and awesome. Empire State Events as a company was so easy to work with every step of the way. Highly recommend!

We got married in June 2024 in Albany, NY. Wyatt and his team did an amazing job coordinating the cold sparklers with or DJs, Eric and Dillon, from Experience Events. Empire State Events were very easy to work with. They provided our wedding with the pizzaz we were looking for! The cold sparklers were a hit and the absolute perfect touch to our entrance, first dance, and dance floor party! They helped keep the dance floor lively and packed all night long!

Cody and the team were extremely professional from their 1st call to discuss the event they followed up the day before the to finalize last minute details, our event was rain or shine and boy did it rain :( they came well prepared and extremely organized, I would recommend this TEAM for any event.

Wyatt is one of the most detailed, open, and communicative people we had the pleasure of working with for our wedding. His website/portal was user friendly and allowed for collaboration on a very diverse collection of music. Not only did he allow for a stress free, outrageously fun, and perfect wedding, we feel like we had a connection beyond that of client/vendor. Dude is only going to continue to grow in this event world, get him while you still can!!

Working with Kyle and the DJ romantics team for our wedding last month was the best decision we made! Their support and follow ups were so helpful, their website is simple and easy for the day of layout, and they truly cared about making the day go as we envisioned. They even worked back and forth with us to edit a song to make it perfect. On top of our anmazing experience leading up, their performance on the day was BEYOND exceptional. Kyle so kindly helped us when we had a minor issue, then the dance floor was fire all night, and they matched the crowds atmosphere, which made it the absolute best night ever! Additionally, their photo booth was absolutely perfect, again better than we could have asked for with the top notch technology. Empire State Events team was great to work with, they were supper friendly and very engaging. We worked a Bridal Expo event at ProvidenceBarn in Fort Plain NY and they kept everyone going with their variety of music. I am Latina and definitely appreciate when DJs add Spanish music to their mix. I’d definitely recommend them for your special event!

Wyatt and his team did such a wonderful job with our company holiday party! Their energy was infections and the music was on-point - they had everyone dancing and celebrating all night long! They brought lights and additional speakers to really help tie the event together. They were extremely organized, communicated with us and answered all of our questions. Oh boy, literally stop your search and get Wyatt and his team for your wedding. I can literally not say enough amazing things about the music AND the extra things he did for my wedding. I had my wedding in Hudson, NY in October, it rained, as it did every weekend of the fall. The buses were an hour late, so now we were an hour late. Wyatt was so easy going and said he will do whatever needs to be done to get his stuff done and make it a great party. He definitely did that! He had basically the entire wedding out on the dance floor the whole night. There was never a song that made people sit down. He and his assistant were behind the DJ stand dancing along, it was such a great night. There was even a Conga line started on the dance floor because everyone was having such a blast. Aside from the actual music at my wedding, Wyatt was the first vendor to come up to our table, check in on us and get us some drinks. He made us feel so special, we just can't thank him enough. Secondly, there was some confusion on the order of happening at the wedding, and Wyatt was the only one to come up to me and ask "what do you want to have happen, because I'll make that happen" and he did. My final note, though I could go on forever, is that the Tuesday before my wedding, we had a meeting set up with Wyatt. I was complaining to my, now, husband about how I didn't have time for this meeting and I had a million other things to be doing and I was so overwhelmed. My husband said we gotta do it and we will get right back into the organizing after. We hopped on the call, and that was probably the most relaxing night I had that whole week. Wyatt calmed my nerves so much, without even knowing it. We talked through the bridal party line up, the timing of everything, even that didn't include him, and he gave us all of the advice he had and made it feel FUN again. I'm telling you, Wyatt was more than just someone who plays music at a wedding, he made the whole event so personalized, and added our own music taste to it. We had so many people tell us how much they enjoyed the wedding, food, AND especially music. Book him now and I promise you won't regret it because I definitely don't.

We are so happy with our music from Thaddeus. We found the music very important, and we had been creating a Spotify playlist for over a year leading up the wedding, and Thaddeus was great at going through the music and compiling it into a great transition between everything. We didn’t have to worry about anything as they seamlessly worked with the even coordinator at our venue to insure music was in the area they knew guests would congregate in since it was rather cold outside on the day of our wedding. We also got the package to include set up for the ceremony, and the mics and speakers used worked wonderfully. All of our guests were able to hear us perfectly. We even had a small broken beer bottle accident on the dance floor, and Thaddeus and Justin were so quick at getting help to get it cleaned up while still keeping the party going with dancing go on the other side of the floor. We truly appreciated their professionalism, ability to think and adapt on the fly, and help keep the party going while there were some small hiccups during the day. 100% would guarantee for your next event!

We had Wyatt as our DJ for our wedding and he was great! He kept the party going with great music and we couldn’t have been happier. He’s also very personable. The online portal was a great feature that allowed us to put in songs that were must plays as well as songs we didn’t want to hear etc. We also got the social photo booth which all of our guests raved about because it was so much fun!

From the first initial calls, he was easy to work with and very professional. The planning portal was so easy to use and really helped us think through all the musical elements of our wedding as we were planning. By the time we got to meet Wyatt in person, it felt like seeing an old friend. The music from the ceremony, to cocktail hour to the reception were uniquely different and absolutely perfect. I felt like he did such a good job reading the room, representing our tastes in music, getting everyone dancing and the mixes! The live mixes were awesome! From the start, Wyatt stood out as an excellent professional and fantastic DJ! When I initially reached out via email, Wyatt called me within the hour to discuss my vision for the wedding. Wyatt remained very communicative throughout the wedding planning process. He was very helpful and supportive through all of our meetings and offered many suggestions that really helped make our wedding successful. Wyatt is a seasoned pro when it comes to weddings and he knows how to structure them to work best for the couple and their guests! Wyatt's online planning tool was very helpful for requesting songs and helping us consider our music choices for each stage of the evening. My biggest goal for my wedding was to have the dance floor packed for the whole night, and Wyatt delivered! Our wedding was SO much fun and all of my guests have commented on how much fun they had dancing at the wedding! Wyatt even kept my very traditional 93 year old grandmother dancing on the floor for the ENTIRE evening, up until the last song! There were so many people dancing, we ran out of room on the dance floor! Not only was Wyatt an excellent DJ, but he was a wonderful MC who kept the energy high in a very cool and classic way! He is thorough, thoughtful, professional and a calm presence -- exactly the type of person/vendor you want supporting you on your wedding day!

Wyatt really made our wedding day so fun and memorable. Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night and all of our guests LOVED the digital photo booth. It was so cool to be able to look back on all the pictures after the wedding. Everything from his announcements, to the reception, dinner and ceremony music was so spot on and exactly what we wanted for our day. I can’t even express into words how absolutely amazing Wyatt is. He has one of the best personalities with such a positive energy/vibe and is so easy to click with! He never gave up on us even when this indecisive bride changed her venue and date 3 times (lol sorry Wyatt). On our wedding my Wedding Coordinator was just awful and Wyatt & his assistant were so awesome communicating with my other vendors to ensure my husband and I had a stress free night, honestly I don’t know what we would’ve done with out him. Now for his talent….. AMAZING!!!! My guests were all on the dance floor at one point just having so much fun. Brides: if you can’t dance in your dress def have a second danceable dress/outfit/shoes on hand because I promise you’ll be dancing your beautiful heart out the whole night!!! DJ Romantics saved my wedding! No joke I contacted him the night before my wedding after my original DJ ghosted me and Wyatt was able to move some things around and be my DJ. He made time to hop on a call with me and talk through my vision for the wedding and he MADE 👏🏼IT👏🏼HAPPEN👏🏼 He threw a ranger of a party and even let my husband sing and perform a musical theater song with one of his groomsmen during the reception 😂 I’m low key kind of happy that my old DJ ghosted me because I was able to have one of the best DJs ever!! I definitely recommend booking with him. You will not be disappointed!

Picking a DJ was very difficult due to us getting married 5+ hours away. We took a chance with DJ Romantics and he blew us away. He brought the energy from the moment the event started and everyone had an amazing time. Music selection was great and tailored to what we wanted as a couple. Aside from playing some great music and getting the party going, he really paid attention to detail, like showing me specific studies on the importance of music at weddings, having a cool, sleek setup, providing a Photo Booth, etc. Pricing was fair and he made the day special while being pleasant to work with.
